Schöne Wohnung

Parken vor dem Haus nicht möglich, aber etwas oberhalb an der Hauptstraße findet sich ein Plätzchen. Mit der Wohnung waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Stayed at the Chapel as it was less expensive than properties in Bath. The place is gorgeous and the host has gone above the norm in providing luxury towels, a welcome package, everything you will need in fact. The place is spotlessly clean and very well presented and has all high end extras like an induction hob. Easy 20 minute drive into Bath, walking distance to a coop for supplies and walks around - and a lovely pub just up the road! Would recommend for sure and would stay here again.

Lovely

Great place. It had everything we needed in the cottage. Very clean. Much more spa than we thought. Large bedrooms especially the double one. The only drawback was the big hill down to the village. Very steep, especially after a few drinks.

Quiet and spacious

A very comfortable and well equipped terraced cottage. If parking next to the property and a back garden are not essential then this is a great base for a family of four or two couples. One of the best places I've stayed at in the last 10 years.

Pure relaxation

This former chapel is so cozy and lovingly furnished, everything is harmonious. It was a wonderfully relaxing few days here. We enjoyed it so much and maybe we like to stay here once again and definitely we will recommend it to our friends.

Modern English Cottage

The cottage was everything it showed in the listing, but its charm was truly evident when we entered. The kitchen was modern and had every amenity, the shower was a delight, the bedding was comfortable and warm. The gas stove in the lounge was a cozy spot to enjoy a tea and read a book. Easy to walk to downtown, the Co-op, bus stop to Bath and other towns. Thank you, Dinah!

Beautiful very well equipped cottage in a great location

The old chapel in Bradford on Avon is a stunning property in a great location. The interior is very tasteful, it's spacious and very well equipped. Very cozy and warm. The location is perfect since it's in a quiet location but still in walking distance of the centre of Bradford. Dinah is a great host and communication is brilliant. We loved it, thank you very much!

Super cottage

The cottage was very warm and cosy. It was very clean and well equipped for self catering. Bradford on Avon is a delightful town in itself. But it is close to Bath which is easily accessible on public transport. There is plenty to visit nearby. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it is a good base for walking as well as exploring.

Could not have been better.

I stayed here with my three adult children on our annual long weekend get together. The cottage is beautiful, clean and bright and had everything that we needed. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Bradford on Avon itself is a fabulous little town; lovely canal and river walks, independent shops and great places to eat. Just a wonderful weekend all round. Thank you.

Medieval village stay

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Chapel. Good central location for day trips to Bath, Bristol and Cardiff, Wales. Well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds and quality linen. The village is gorgeous too!

Loved this place!

Great place

Well appointed! Quiet and in very nice neighborhood! Coop close with friendly staff. Easy access to Bath by train. Great people in Bradford on Avon! Highly recommended! Does have stairs so be informed.

Another great stay

We’ve just spent another wonderful few days at the chapel. It’s such a hidden gem in a beautiful area. So well equipped, so clean, so spacious quiet and peaceful. It all makes for lovely relaxing holiday.

The Old Chapel combines period charm with modern convenience in a really lovely location. It is located in a car free road ensuring total peace and quiet and a short walk from the centre of Bradford-on-Avon. The chapel is Grade II listed and built of the local stone with attractive arched 'ecclesiastical style' windows and exposed beams in the second bedroom. It benefits from facing south and enjoys sunshine throughout the day.

We had one of our best ever stays - the property is exactly as shown in the photographs, immaculately clean everywhere and full of charm. The fresh flowers and hamper on arrival was a lovely touch along with fresh bread and milk/butter in the fridge. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of new pans, cutlery, mugs, glasses, knife set, spices, serving bowls and more. The beds were extremely comfortable with fresh towels and little shampoos/conditioners provided. The parking is not an issue because you can park for free on the main road (only a residential quiet road) and there were always spaces. The property is down a pathway just 1 minute walk away. You can walk into town very easily, just follow a straight path for about 10mins. There is also a small Coop nearby for groceries which was handy. We had such a peaceful stay and would not hesitate to return again. Thank you!
