South Boston is a great place to base yourself because of the proximity to the heart of the City while maintaining its own identity and neighborhood feel. South Boston is easily accessible by public transportation with subway and bus stops only minutes from the condo. Only 10 minute cab ride to/from Logan Airport. Only 10 minute walk to Boston Convention Center!! Short walk to Downtown/Financial District, Seaport District and other area amenities. Very comfortable, modern unit. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances; Master Bedroom with queen size Temperpedic mattress. Flat screen TVs with cable; sleeps 4 to 6.
Great place to stay and Gary was very communicative and easy to work with on the reservation and check-in process. Loved the place, good location, easy to get to any of the sites in Boston. Great private rooftop deck that is undersold in the pictures/description. Would highly recommend!
Clean and conveniently located near convention center.
Gary's place was great for what we needed it for. He was very helpful and the rental went smooth. His place is cozy, has a rooftop and two bathrooms. The kitchen is beautiful, but hard to eat together without a dining room table. When I booked it, I didn't realize the second bedroom was a pull-out couch. We also booked his place for its access to the parade, but we didn't know the 3/17 parade was on Sunday. We didn't hangout in Southie and took Lyft to and from Faneuil Hall area 2-4 times a day our entire stay. Next time we visit, we will probably stay more central to be where we want to hangout.
Gary was professional, helpful and quick to respond the entire time. The condo location was great for a quick drive to downtown Boston and wonderful local restaurants. Located in a sweet, quiet neighborhood, it was nice not to have the hotel norm. Gary's condo is as described, pictures are exact. Nice to enjoy the view along with cool October Boston air through all the condo windows. Three short flights of stairs to the condo, not that bad at all. Just the right size for the four of us. We were pleased that the condo was very clean and orderly. The master bedroom and bathroom were spacious and bed was very comfortable. The guest bedroom was fine, although may be time for a new mattress on the pullout bed, it was lumpy. We did mention this to Gary and he was aware. The rooftop deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the guest bottle of wine and sunset. Yes, Gary's personal items are there in the condo, no worries. Thank you Gary!
property was exactly as described - great location within walking distance to metro and good restaurants. Enjoyed the rooftop patio and views of the city as well.
We stayed at Gary's place September 12-14, 2016. Having never been to Boston, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Gary's place was perfect for the 4 of us. We had two family members in their 70s with us who are very active, however understand that you have to climb outside stairs to the 3rd story.
The place is exactly as the pictures show and as others have said, the bottle of wine was a nice touch. We stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was comfortable. The other family members stayed in the 2nd bedroom, which is a pullout bed, however no complaints about the bed from them.
Lots of Windows and with the weather being perfect, we opened up all the windows to get the beautiful breeze throughout the apartment.
The T, which is the subway is only a few blocks. Take the redline Broadway stop. The system was easy to maneuver. We got a link pass that cost $21 for a week that allowed for subway and bus transportation. Also, the city is very small so get your walking shoes on as it's easy to get from one section to the other. Finally, I felt safe and the people here were extremely nice!
Gary was very responsive and called and came by to make sure all was good. Would definitely stay here again.

I expect guests to treat my home as if it were their own. Be neat and clean, considerate, and respectful of both my home and my neighbors. I do my best to meet my guests in person upon arrival. I take that opportunity to give a personal tour of the condo, an overview of the surrounding neighborhood, suggestions on things to do, places to go, where to eat. I'm always available by phone or email.
