Our family of five enjoyed staying in this house in Hammersmith. This property is about a 10 minute walk to the Hammersmith tube, which was very convenient. It was about a 20 minute tube ride into Westminster, and a little longer for other parts of London.
The house had a comfortable living room area, and three good size bedrooms. The kitchen, which was isolated on the ground floor, seemed well stocked, but we did not use it. The kitchen did have a washer and dryer which were very useful.
The master bedroom had an ensuite bathroom with a queen size bed. The second floor bedroom has a double bed, which was a bit small for my 12 year old and 15 year old daughters to share, although it was manageable. If you have two smaller children, they can easily share this bed. The first floor bedroom had one single bed which my 18 year old son enjoyed.
The neighborhood is very quiet and seemed mostly residential. There were other rentals in the area, but I could not tell who was who for the most part. I was unsure if the area had a crime problem or not, but the windows all had key locks and there was a locked gate across the courtyard area. This may simply be because it is in the city of London and it may be perfectly normal, but it was more extensive than I would have expected.
We all had a great time in London and will always have fond memories of our trip and our stay in Hammersmith.
