Quiet cabin in the forest.

Perfect for a girlfriends’ getaway! Nothing like wine in the woods after a few hikes and a hot tub!

We had a great time staying at the Pioneer Chalet and exploring Hocking Hills for the first time! The chalet was clean and exactly as listed, very easy check in and check out experiences. We loved the hot tub! It's in a great location, easily drivable to local, popular hiking sites and restaurants, but quiet and private, as well.

Great family weekend

The Pioneer cabin is a great, pet-friendly cabin in the heart of the Hocking Hills. This is a great cabin and is pet-friendly, which is a huge plus! We spent a weekend here, hiking , eating, and enjoying the Hocking Hills area.

Great cabin to relax after lobg days of hiking!

The Pioneer was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed having television for rainy evenings and a hot tub to soothe muscles after hiking all day. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

This property is secluded and beautiful! The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. The cabin was quaint, clean, and comforting. We would come back a million times!

Perfect getaway

Location was excellent for hiking. We were coming in later than expected, and we were pleasantly surprised that the patio lights were on and the hot tub was all warmed up for us. Check in and check out were a breeze.

Just wish we could have stayed longer but we were limited in time. We did have to go buy batteries for the remotes but otherwise everything we needed was there or we brought. We're hoping to be able to return to the same cabin for a longer stay sometime in the near future.

The Pioneer cabin was fantastic! The setting was perfect, in the woods, a few miles away from the Astronomy Park and hiking within Hocking Hills. The cabin is very well maintained, stocked with basic supplies, very clean. We will stay here again!

Property was nice; however, the power was out for the majority of the second day of our stay, leaving us in the dark without any AC. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short and leave a night early

Pioneer at Hocking Hills

Beautiful cabin in a secluded and serene wooded area of Hocking Hills.Had a warm and cozy feel, beautifully crafted and well maintained. Just bring some food, water and a toothbrush and get ready to explore the wonderful great outdoors!Location is very close to several State Park points of interests.Our stay was only for a weekend, but definitely made memories that will last a lifetime and will definitely return for a longer stay!

Relaxing

My granddaughter and I went for a quick getaway! Our first time at Hocking Hills to hit a few of the trails. We took our dogs too. The cabin was great and fit our need for privacy, our dogs and being close to the park. Would definitely stay there again❤️

Pioneer Cabin

Overall, my boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Pioneer cabin! We loved the cabin! Very cozy and a much needed relaxing weekend away from the busy city. Only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable, very hard. Other than that, loved the hot tub and grill!
