A great relaxing stay

The property provides a good basic level of accommodation in a quiet and relaxing area ideal for a getaway in a good central location for day trips round the island. You need a car, but there plenty of good places to visit and eat within an hour’s drive.

Beautiful location

Stayed at villa Barnsley for two weeks with family, the villa was in a beautiful location within secret valley, the outside areas and pool were beautiful. We were allowed early entry into the villa which was great. Some of the negative points about this villa. On arriving we noted the towels were grey and hard so had to purchase towels for our stay. The patio doors had childrens hand prints on them and generally very dusty. The inside dinning room we couldn’t use as the chairs were all broken. We chose a villa because we didn’t want to eat out every night. We used the oven once it was needing a good clean as it smoked the whole house out so couldn’t use again. The doorbell and outside lights didn’t work. The cushions for the outside dining set were heavily stained. The inside seating area was also heavily stained. There were no lamps in the downstairs area. In the bedrooms there was no dressing table . The television well that was sold to us as having all uk channels normally would not watch tv on holiday but wanted to see coverage of the queens funeral the channels every few minutes had to be rebooted unwatchable. This villa needs some TLC and I think a few people may be disappointed with the standard.

Relaxing Getaway

Villa Barnsley provides a simple package with all the basic requirements that offer all the necessary comforts for a great family getaway in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The villa and grounds are attractive and well maintained with super views out to sea. Although you need a car, it is well placed to travel to Paphos, Limassol or into the Troodos mountains as well as the plethora of inland villages.

Well equipped three bed villa in Secret Valley

Having selected Villa Barnsley for our late break the whole booking process was handled very efficiently and confirmed within a matter of days. The directions and access details arrived well before our departure from the UK allowing us to slip easily into the holiday mood. The Villa is only twenty minutes from Phafos Airport but a hire car is essential as Secret Valley is in a residential area and although shops and restaurants are many and varied in the locality transport is required. On arrival at the Villa it was just as described clean fully equipped and the gardens and pool were well maintained. The welcome pack had all the essentials that meant shopping could wait until we had fully settled in. If your looking for a relaxing holiday lounging by the pool or a base from which to explore the island the Villa will meet your needs.
