Quiet and relaxing

The location was really good if looking for somewhere quiet. Beautiful views all around. The house and pool were lovely and clean. Definitely need a car, to get to supermarket and explore.

Villa Cava

Villa Cava is a beautiful villa with a fantastic pool and hugely spacious gardens. It was our second stay there as it is so comfortable and a great base to see the local attractions in both directions on the coast road from Secret Valley. We hope to book again- thank you Isabell!

Fabulous villa

An absolutely superb villa, set in beautiful grounds, with a lovely pool. The villa was very well equipped, pool regularly cleaned and an excellent location for exploring Cyprus. Communication with Isabell was very easy and she could not have been more helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa.

An oasis away from the crowds

Villa Cava is in a lovely quiet area but close to lovely villages we know and only 25 mins from Paphos. The villa was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed (except a microwave but that’s a personal choice not a criticism). The pool and gardens are spacious and beautiful. They’re regularly maintained by a friendly team. We had an issue with an air conditioning unit and I contacted the host. Within an hour an electrician rang me and arranged to come out 30 minutes later and he was right on time. A further 30 minutes later it was all fixed. Breakdowns happen but I was stunned with how fast the issue was resolved. I cannot recommend this Villa enough. Spacious, beautiful, clean, Amazing views, pool and garden. We will without doubt be staying here again as soon as possible.

Wonderful Villa

Villa Cava has a very good layout and is tastefully decorated with lots of interesting items.The kitchen has plenty of utensils and crockery.There is good aircon in all rooms - a must in the Cyprus heat ! The huge garden area has great trees and plants with colourful flowers.As some of the sites around the villa haven't been built on yet it was very private and quiet most of the time - it might be good to ask the owner if any future building is planned - during our stay a new villa a couple of sites away was being fitted out and there was some noise at times during the weekdays.The different views of the mountains and the sea from everywhere in the villa are just fantastic - we loved watching the sunset every evening from the back balcony.The pool was refreshing and cleaned twice a week.There was a lovely breeze most of the time.We really loved this villa and found it very comfortable and relaxing and would highly recommend it for a get away from it all holiday.

Sehr schönes, großzügiges Haus, nett eingerichtet, mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin war sehr gut. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Wasser im Pool war uns mit 20 Grad zu kalt. Es war zeitweise Baulärm aus der entfernten Nachbarschaft zu hören. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war super. Wir können das Objekt uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Villa in ruhiger Umgebung mit super Pool

Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus. Der Pool mit einem tiefen und einen hüfttiefen Bereich war super. Die Kommunikation mit Isabell war schnell und hilfreich. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Une maison conforme à la description

Très belle maison dans un environnement calme, très bien équipée, une très grande piscine,... nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Kouklia. Néanmoins, un parasol plus grand (ou un second) serait un plus, tout comme une ou deux bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo, voire une bouteille de vin Chypriote comme marque de bienvenue. Mais, le point principal à améliorer, c'est la temporisation des climatisations dans les chambres : 2h est insuffisant à mon goût pour passer une bonne nuit à moins de désigner un volontaire pour réenclencher...

Sehr schöne Villa

Die Villa besitzt alles und noch mehr was man im Urlaub braucht. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war Deutsch und echt zuvorkommend und sehr nett! Auch die Möglichkeit die Villa bereits um 11:30 zu beziehen war problemlos möglich. Die Villa und die Einrichtung ist schon echt Stylisch und hat wirklich Charme! Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und sehr weitläufig. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sehr gepflegt. Wir hätten 3 Kleinigkeiten die unserer Meinung nach sehr sinnvoll wären: 1. Eine Solarabdeckung oder Heizung für den Pool. Er hatte 18 Grad, also im April nicht nutzbar. Die Lounge Ecken ein bisschen höher wertiger, es nervt schon sehr wenn man sich hin setzt und alle Teile verrutschen sich ständig. Und ein kleines Willkommenspräsent, hier wären 2 Flaschen Wasser und ein wenig Obst oder ähnliches schon super. Kostet nicht viel, die Freude ist aber groß. Alles in allem, aber auf alle Fälle sehr zu empfehlen, und wir würden wieder kommen.

Stay at Villa Cava

As frequent visitors to Cyprus and Secret Valley we feel we are in a good position to review. This is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. A beautiful plot, with a superior view over the valley. Very nice house, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, very quiet, beautiful pool. Satellite is good, and collection of dvds and cds. Blackout blinds keep bedrooms cool. 15-20 mins to Paphos and 5 mins to Pissourri. Paphos airport 10 mins. Would happily book a return.

Superb Villa ... But !

This is an absolutely wonderful villa, the host Isabell is very responsive to messages. The villa is in a very quiet location which suited us fine, it is on a hill so you get a nice breeze most of the time, ideal in the heat and of course there is a nice size swimming pool to cool off too. The garden is lovely with different area's to either be in the sun or in the shade throughout the day. The villa is very spacious and well equipped but slightly let down by her cleaning team as the kitchen wasn't clean and we had to go out and buy cleaning material something you don't have to expect to do on a 13 day stay. I have to say that the pool was clean (different cleaning team) and this was done twice a week. We hired a car and ideally where the villa is situated it is recommended. Nothing is within walking distance BUT only a short drive away is two Golf Clubs Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley, both of which are very nice and also a Supermarket which is well stocked.

Brilliant stay

I would really recommend this villa. It was so clean, spacious, well equipped. Isabell was a brilliant host with great communications. We had a brilliant time by the pool and the garden has the perfect amount of shade and sunlight throughout the day! Would definitely recommend staying here

Sehr schöne, top ausgestatte Villa!

Die Villa ist geräumig und gepflegt. Sie war top ausgestattet. Es gibt deutsche und englische Bücher zum Lesen, Spiele waren vorhanden (z.B. Uno) und der TV hatte eine große Sendervielfalt, inkl. einigen deutschsprachigen Sendern. Hilfreich wäre noch eine Poolabdeckung, die das Auskühlen in der Nacht verhindert. So hatte der Pool Mitte Oktober am morgen leider nur 19 Grad. Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig mit einem schönen Fernblick. Nach Paphos oder in die Coral Bay fährt man ca. 20 bis 30 Min. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Perfect house in Kouklia

The villa is the perfect house to explore the West part of Cyprus. We loved the space, the generous swimming pool and I understand why so many guests come back. The communication with Isabella was perfect and really quick. She managed to answer our questions and made sure that we had all information available to enjoy our stay. It's the perfect base to explore Paphos, the Episkopi Bay as well as Chrysochou Bay. I will not hesitate to book it again.

Einfach perfekt

Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer Anlage mit vielen gepflegten Villen und hat keine direkten Nachbarn. Das Grundstück ist nicht einsehbar und dadurch sehr privat. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Die bequemen Aussenmöbel auf der Terrasse laden zu einer Pause ein. In der Frühstücksecke machte es uns Spaß den Tag mit einem Kaffee zu beginnen. Die Innenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen: eine komplett eingerichtete Küche mit guten Messern und einer soliden Grundausstattung aus Gewürzen, Mehl, diversen Zuckersorten, Tee, Öl und Essig und vieles mehr. Alles sehr gepflegt, sauber und funktionsfähig. Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und Bäder in sehr gutem Zustand und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es waren ausreichend Handtücher und Pflegeprodukte da. Wir haben öfters zum Baden im Meer die Bucht der Aphrodite aufgesucht, die ca. 8 Minuten von der Villa liegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa Cava ohne Einschränkungen auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Es war herrlich und sehr erholsam. Danke auch an Frau Nixon, die uns in unserer Urlaubszeit in der Villa unproblematisch betreut hat und bei Fragen sofort reagiert hat. I

10 wunderbare Tage Ende Oktober Anfang November in der Villa Cava verbracht. Top-ausgestattete Villa mit allem, was man braucht - von Adapter bis Zitronenpresse (elektrisch). Selten ein so gut ausgestattetes Feriendomizil erlebt. Der große Pool war toll, wurde regelmäßig gewartet. Wir hatten mit 5 Erwachsenen dort eine ganz schöne Zeit und werden wieder kommen.

Luxurious and relaxing villa

We have been coming to Secret Valley for more than 15 years, always renting villas with good experiences. Some are better equipped than others, but Villa Cava was the best equipped and had the largest plot. Loved all the small touches, like toiletries and phone chargers for all models. Plus the showers which could fit a whole family in. All the equipment was top notch, the garden was superbly landscaped, and the outside seating areas gave the right amount of sun and shade. We loved the location with the nearest (empty) villas being approx 80 metres away, the villa is at the highest point of the valley so we had a lovely breeze most days to help cool us off in the 30 degree heat. The welcome pack could be improved upon slightly if I had to pick something to comment on, but this is minor and should not detract from an overall amazing villa for your holiday. Thank you Isabell for letting us stay in your lovely property.

Perfect for a relaxing pool holiday

We stayed at the Villa Cava early in June. We were delighted with our choice. The house, the gardens and the pool were all lovely. It is a great place for a quiet, relaxing stay by the pool. To break up the routine, there are beaches, historical sites and nature trails not too far away. The villa had a very nice homely feel to it. It was beautifully tiled, spacious and nicely decorated, with lots of natural light. The air-conditioning was quiet and efficient, and the wifi worked well. The bathrooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the sitting room and the dining area were very pleasant. The pool was large and clean, with a decent sized shallow-end for the children to play. There were comfortable chairs for sitting outside plus several sun-loungers. The location was very quiet and private. The plots of land next to and behind the villa have not been built on, so there were no immediate neighbours (and no worries about our children making too much noise in the pool!). There was no road noise at all. The villa is built on a headland just a fews kms from the coast. Because of this, there was often a little breeze. This was very refreshing during the heat of the day, but it did mean that it was sometimes a little too chilly to eat breakfast or the evening meal outside on the patio. However, we stayed early in June, and this would probably not be an issue later in the season. The garden was beautifully maintained, and was lovely to look out on, either whilst swimming or whilst relaxing next to the pool. You definitely need a car to stay at the villa, as there are no shops or tavernas within walking distance. (There is a good supermarket at Pissouri). Within driving distance of the villa things we enjoyed visiting included the Archeological site in Paphos; the Tombs of the Kings and the nice beach at Coral Bay. We did not like Ladys Mile Beach near Limassol very much. We have no hesitation in giving the Villa Cava five stars and would recommend it highly to all our friends.
