Located in the beautiful shale village of Talasnal, the house offers a unique and genuine experience of a typical schist house, in a comfortable, cozy and simultaneously rustic atmosphere. The stunning views of the mountain, village and the magnificent swimming pool allow you to enjoy days of tranquility where you can hear the chirping of birds and the running of the waters of the small stream.

Isolated in the mountains, the village becomes a perfect place for those seeking tranquility and involvement with nature. privileged place for mountaineering and hiking practitioners or for those who simply want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The wildlife on the mountain is very diverse and rich, and encounters with deer, boars, hedgehogs and other indigenous animals are common.
The restoration of the house was completed in 2011 with total respect for the past, using the typical materials of the region, shale and brown wood combined with glass and iron, and its interior was endowed with all the comfort and facilities required on days of today.
The house develops on 3 floors, all of them with access from the outside, has 3 suites each with WC giving total privacy to the guests. The ground floor consists of kitchen and dining room with stove, on the first floor we find a large living room with open fireplace and a suite, up to the 2nd floor we have 2 more suites, one of them with recuperador of And the other in mezzanine and with access to a small balcony. In the decoration were used and recovered some existing furniture in the house and brought from England and Scotland elements such as fabrics, sofas, chairs.
Outside we have a swimming pool and a large wooden deck where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds us and the strong and hot sun that warms us in summer. There is a beautiful, well-tended garden with herbs and a dining area with a grill and a large table sheltered from the sun by a centuries-old vine.
In the village there is a rustic restaurant where you can taste the delicacies of the region, where cafés serve typical cakes and light meals. In the neighborhood we can explore various shale villages, natural pools, and even the place where the ice that followed in the summer to the court in Lisbon used to be made. The nearest village Lousã is located at 11 km where there are supermarkets, restaurants and commerce in general and Coimbra university town is only 40 km. Lisbon is at 2h / 200km and Porto at 1h45 / 165km.
