This traditional Spanish apartment offers a relaxed and practical home away from home. It features a king-size bed in the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and direct balcony access, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The open-plan living area includes a 65” Smart TV, comfortable seating, and a dining space perfect for family meals.

La Cala Hills and La Cala De Mijas form part of the area known as La Cala, which is situated in the typically Andulasian, low built-up, not-too-commercial district of Mijas, roughly in-between Marbella and Malaga coastal towns.
Sunshine averages 300 days per year, and even the winters here are pleasantly mild - which is why the area of MIjas is extremely popular with golfers, and horse-riding enthusiasts alike, during autumn and winter.
The area is lush, rich in landscape - from towering Mijas mountains, to the nearby hills & golf-courses, to the well-maintained natural beaches and sea-fronts, with magnificent ancient towns such as Ronda, Ojen and Isthan within driving distance, as well as the family friendly Theme Parks, Zoos, etc.

For those who prefer fine quality living, with peace and beauty, rather than loud, busy cities and towns, - then La Cala is an ideal place. The views are simply spectacular, with the white-washed Andulasian town of Mijas pueblo overlooking La Cala, as well as the surrounding world-famous golf courses, such as Mijas Golf and La Cala Golf, some of which are in walking distance.
Horse-riding, and the famous Raqueta De Mijas Sports club & gym, as well as the golf courses, remind us that Mijas is both for relaxing, and for active people.
The neighbourhood is peaceful and friendly, with many locals occupying the properties, as well as friendly visitors. You will feel welcomed at the various shops, restaurants and bars, many of which are pleasingly within walking distance.
We're fortunate to have some great restaurants (Spanish, Italian, Indian, and others) within walking distance of the apartment, as well as some very friendly bars, which tend to attract families and couples alike, and avoided by noisy crowds - so peace, good company, good conversation, and good prices are usually guaranteed :)
The famous Hotel Tamisa Golf is also walking distance (or a short drive), as is the town of Las Lagunas , where - within 5 minutes - you will find big name stores such as ALDI, LIDL, AKI, WORTON, ICELAND, as well as many other convenience stores and outlets.
Within 7-10 minutes' drive is of course the famous and up and coming town of Fuengirola on the one side, with its golden sandy beaches, and beautiful, small, quaint yet modern La Cala De Mijas village on the other side, again, a short drive away, with its quieter, family and couple-friendly beaches, where it's not unusual to find the odd beach wedding taking place! :)
Famous Cabopino and Elviria beaches are around 20 minutes drive from the apartment; or of course, drive a little bit more - and enjoy the California-like boardwalks and beach promenades of the towns of San Pedro and the famous Puerto Banus!
And when you're finished - drive up into the mountains towards Isthan for some breathtaking scenery, including the famouse needle-shaped lake and the towns near it, and onto Monda, Ojen and then back to La Cala - for a spectacular, unforgettable journey that many never imagined, would exist in Spain! So La Cala, Mijas and the Costa Del Sol in general - are so much more than just the pretty beaches - go up into the mountains to discover more treasures - including the famous Sierra Nevada mountain range (2 hours from Mijas) - where you can go skiiing or enjoy snow-sports at times in the year!
Or visit El Torcal - the incredible "other planet" like landscape in the mountains... or El Chorro with its famous 3 lakes nestled in the amazing, towering mountains .......the list goes on.

The above location is only around 2 minutes' drive from the development "Phase 1" , which is nicely situated at the top of the La Cala development on a hill.
