This beautiful beach front villa is located in the pretty coastal resort of Medici along the Split Riviera. With its retro style interior opening out onto a sea front garden and terraces, the villa would suit a family or friends looking for a relaxing break in a quiet village within easy reach of the historic towns of Split and Makarska.

The villa is approached from the rear where parking is located. Guests enter into a hallway followed by the mezzanine ground floor. The upper part features the open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, a separate guest toilet and a door to the garage. The lower part accommodates a dining room, lounge and sliding doors opening onto a spacious terrace and garden overlooking the sea. A double bedroom, a family bathroom and a second double bedroom with additional single bed are located on the first floor. Both bedrooms feature a terrace with sea view. Access to the sea is possible via a side gate to the rear of the villa and four flights of steps down to the beach.

Car hire is recommended while staying at this villa. Areas of interest nearby include the River Cetina near Omis which offers white water rafting, canoeing and canyoning, Biokovo Nature Park as well as the ancient city of Split. Day trips to Brac island and Mostar are also possible from this area.

Great vocation in July

It was a very lovely stay in a house with a great view and very comfortable interior. The beach is very close for the access and there are a couple of nice places nearby with a good food and bar. We really enjoyed our stay and I can highly recommend this place.

A very, very nice place. A short walk of two minutes will bring you down to the beach, a public staircase of maybe 50 steps. The beach is shared with the new hotel "Medistone". Terrace and garden allow a truly amazing view that is actually even better than the pictures can bring across. We loved it.

Peaceful family retreat

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Medici! The peaceful garden, shaded by tall pine trees and offering stunning views of the sea, quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The terrace table was perfect for outdoor dining—every meal felt extra special with that serene backdrop.The location is unbeatable: just a one-minute walk to a beautiful beach where we spent hours swimming and snorkeling. The water was crystal clear and we saw giant schools of fish right near the shore.Inside, the house was spotless and spacious. The large living area was ideal for enjoying family time, and the air-conditioned bedrooms with comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The renovated kitchen was fully stocked with modern appliances and everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. We really appreciated the thought and care that went into the design of the home.We were also grateful for the warm welcome from the owners (family Maibaum) and property managers (Sandi and Ana). They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.This home is a perfect seaside retreat. Peaceful, comfortable, and close to nature—it truly has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable vacation. Highly recommended!

Kurz und knapp: es war so ziemlich das schönste Haus, die schönste Lage und der schönste Urlaub, den wir je hatten. Die Lage über dem Strand mit dem fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer, das sehr schön eingerichtete Haus mit allem, was man braucht, erfüllte alle Wünsche, die wir hatten. Traumvilla an einem Fotohotspot

Das erste Mal, dass die Realität die Bilder übertraf. Die Kommunikation verlief im Vorfeld sowie während des Urlaubes sehr herzlich und hilfreich. Das gesamte Anwesen bestach durch sein mediteranes Flair, seinen einzigartigen Ausblick, der Strandnähe und Komfort. Vollklimatisiert, mit schönem Garten und sogar einer Garage erlebten wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Selbst unsere 13jährige Tochter hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein Traum....

Das Ferienhaus ist ein wahrer Traum. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder im Alter von 11 und 14 Jahren) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen Ende Juli / Anfang August in diesem wunderbaren Haus in Medici verbracht. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt und eine Zeit voller Ruhe, Entspannung und Genuss verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gut unterhalten und grosszügig eingerichtet. Es ist wunderbar kühl (dank Klimaanlagen), hell, gemütlich…. die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur wünscht, im Garten gab es Liegestühle, Hängematten und sogar den Grill durften wir benutzen. Etwas vom Schönsten war für uns der grosszügige Garten und der Essplatz mit dem grossen Holztisch unter dem Baum und der unglaubliche kleine Sitzplatz hoch über dem Meer…. wo wir oft ein kleines Mittagessen oder einen Apero eingenommen haben, da es dort immer einen kühlenden Wind gab. Auch der Ausblick aufs Meer und das allgegenwärtige Rauschen des Meeres sind unglaublich schön….! Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt und über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Das Meer ist glasklar und sehr erfrischend. Der Einkauf kann in Omis gemacht werden, dort gibt es auch einen kleinen und feinen Fischmarkt. Ich hatte vor dem Aufenthalt einen sehr freundlichen Austausch mit Maike und Zeljka Maibaum. Vor Ort hat uns Ivana und ihr Partner empfangen. Alles sehr liebevolle und zuverlässige Menschen. Die Ferien waren ein voller Erfolg! Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften!

Paradiesisches Ferienhaus unter Pinien

Selten haben wir uns in einem Urlaub so erholt wie in der Villa Metejo in Medici. Und das vom ersten Moment an! Das Haus ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe gestaltet, dabei sehr praktisch aufgeteilt mit dem wunderbar großzügigen Wohnraum, dem supermodernen neuen Bad, das von zwei Seiten zugänglich ist - sehr amerikanisch nahezu! Gleiches gilt für die offene Küche mit Theke - sie ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, wie auch darüber hinaus mit zusätzlichen i-Tüpfelchen von Pastateller bis Saftpresse. Die Terrasse und der riesige Garten mit mehreren Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten sind ein Traum! Dank der abgeschirmten und schattigen Lage unter Pinien und Olivenbäumen weht auch an den heißen Tagen immer ein erfrischender Wind. Die Buchten direkt unter dem Ferienhaus erreicht man über eine nahegelegene Treppe, am Strand gibt es eine kleine Bar - die man aber eigentlich gar nicht braucht, denn es gibt keinen schöneren Ort als die venezianisch anmutende Balustrade am Haus direkt über dem Meer. An der Umgebung - Berge und Meer - kann man sich nicht sattsehen. Zum Supermarkt im benachbarten Mimice sind es etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß, per Auto zwei Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen - nicht zuletzt auch dank der sehr freundlichen und hilfsbreiten Gastgeber! Alles hat reibungslos geklappt, von Buchung über Schlüsselübergabe bis Restaurant- und Ausflugstipps! Das Haus bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten - sowohl für schöne gemeinsame Familienabende als auch individuelle Freiräume (bei zwei Teenagern hin und wieder sehr willkommen!) Wir haben herrlich entspannte Tage in Medici verbracht und jede Menge Kraft getankt für den Alltag - so sollte Urlaub sein! Danke, Maike, Zeljka und Ivana!

Lovely spot for a relaxing holiday on the sea front.

Huge thank you to fabulous hosts Ivana and her husband from our family. We had a great time chilling at the villa in June 2017. We absolutely loved the garden area to the back of the house and the sea view was very special. The beach is only short stroll down the steps, big town Omiš is close enough to the villa too, if you fancy going for a meal or getting some fresh fish from a local market. We spent most of our days by the water and evenings having barbecues on a terrace taking in the sound of the sea and the wind. Overall it was a good accommodation, private and no hassle whatsoever. The hosts were very good at getting in touch if needed, always replyed very fast. Totally recommend! Jelena & family.

A magical place to stay

We have just arrived back from the most wonderful stay in Medici. The house is spotless and very well equipped. The scenery is breathtaking and the owners couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. There is so much to do in the area (even for 2 teenage boys!), that we could have stayed another week to fit it all in - the zip line in Omis is a must! We would love to come back another year and explore more. Thank you Maike - we hope to see you again soon!

Wir haben mit Hund und zwei Kindern zwei Wochen im Juli/August in Mimice verbracht. Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage. Die Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos. Nous avons passer moi ma femme est nos 3 enfants des vacances merveileuse la maison était au top climatisation partout la vue du balcon a couper le souffle les propriétaire sont super sympa souriant la photo du jardin ne le met pas assez en valeur car l terrasse est très très grande en bref a qui veut passer des vacance inoubliable je vous conseille cette maison

We live in Germany and always spend our vacation in Medići. 2010 we decided to rent our 2nd home to people who love to travel, enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay at the coast in a charming family friendly environment.

Be impressed at first sight by our beautiful landscape. Medići provides the opportunity for a perfect holiday in an oasis of peace and a crystal clear sea. Whether you prefer swimming and sunbathing or enjoying the outdoors, Medici will make your wishes come true.

What makes this property unique

Regardless of the crowds in the heart of the season, you can always find a quiet secluded beach to enjoy a bit more intimate atmosphere. Clear sea and beautiful beaches, situated below the hill known as Omis Dinara, along with the view of the island of Brac and the famous quarry in Pucisca make Medici the perfect place for absolute relaxation. In addition to swimming and basking in the sun, we recommend snorkeling towards the wreck of a ship that is only two to twelve meters deep. The shipwreck Metkovic has been a tourist attraction of Medici ever since it sunk in 1964. Today, the stranded ship is home for many underwater inhabitants. In our small port there are three towers that once served as berth for ships. Nowadays, the towers are a reminder of bygone times and form a perfect postcard from Medici.
