Spacious south facing ski apartment with WIFI, 6 bed/4bath duplex. Stunning view

Les Deux Alpes - Ski to and from the Building via the newly renovated Super Venosc Gondola located the opposite side of the building.  This spacious and south facing duplex apartment has the best views in town!

This property is professionally deep cleaned after every stay, and we’re taking extra care to disinfect high touch areas between stays and provide a selection of recommended cleaning products for guests’ use. We have machines to disinfect all beds, sofas and every part of the appartement after each client, to insure optimum levels of sanitisation against COVID-19.

This 138m2 duplex apartment has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the last 2 levels of the apartment complex 7/8th floors, accessed by 3 lifts. There is a large fully equipped kitchen to easily cater for large groups and the table will easily seat 16+. The living area is all open plan for relaxing whilst enjoying the views from the 2 balconies overlooking the Muzelle mountain and one of the best views of Les Deux alpes. All bathrooms are remodelled with walk in showers and or baths and there are 4 toilets, 2 on each floor. If you have any questions please just let me know! 

Kitchen will be equipped with large fridge /freezer, 2 full sized ovens and 2 vitroceramic electric hobs, 2 dishwashers, a microwave and all the amenities needed for catering to large parties. There are 3 raclette cheese machines for the typical mountain style meals. Coffee machines are filter and/or Nespresso style with capsules.

The dining room table seats 16+, and there are 3 couches, one U shaped and one in a "L" Format and another standard 3 seater with 2 armchairs to seat everyone comfortably (can become sofa beds but not recommended with large parties!).  LED large screen TV and DVD has internet channels set into it.  High speed private WIFI is available throughout the apartment and included in your stay.

Located on the 7th floor there are 2 bedrooms separated from the living space via a door to minimise noise.  
The first bedroom downstairs has a double bed and cupboard space, with exceptional views overlooking town.  
The second bedroom has a single bed, with pull out that can also become a double bed, or two singles.

There is a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink that serves the 2 bedrooms downstairs.

Upstairs there are another 4 bedrooms.  
The third bedroom has a double bed (160x200) together with ample closet space and a velux window.
Between the third and fourth bedroom is a bathroom with a bath, sink and toilet.
The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds in a bunk bed and 2 single mattresses (90x200 that can form a double) with closet space.  
The fifth bedroom has a double bed (160x200) with ensuite shower and sink .  
The sixth bedroom has a double bed (160x200) also a single bed (90x200) that has a pull out to form a double. Attention if the pull out is used there is no floor space! This bedroom has a shower and sink.
There is a seperate toilet at the end of the corridor next to bedroom 6.

The hot water comes from 3 separate water tanks , 2 x 200 litre tank that service each bathroom providing endless hot water after those strenuous days skiing powder! 

The apartment is located next to the piste on the Pied Moutet side of the mountain and set above the town of Les Deux Alpes, Le Flocon D’or is positioned in the resort’s ‘sun zone’, offering ski-in/ski-out access to the south facing slopes.  The Jandri express gondola, taking you up to Europe’s largest glacier, is less than a 5 minute shuttle bus away, with buses leaving in the parking area every 10 minutes.
 The shops and lively bars and restaurants of Les Deux Alpes are less than a 5 minute walk. There are public lifts that take you back up the slope to the apartment. 

Parking is provided for 2 cars in private covered parking spaces (2 garages with remotes) reserved for the apartment, the exterior car park is on a first come first served basis.

Discounted rental equipment are available when booking. There is an Intersport within the apartment building, handy for not moving around with equipment! They do cheap packages for rental, either an 'adult' or child pack and you can choose whatever you want. Bed Linen
Linen and towels are included in the reservation for WINTER RENTALS ONLY.   Please let us know at least 1 week in advance if you want to reserve also how many singles/doubles depending on the beds required. Summer rentals the linen can be requested and paid to the concierges on arrival and is 15/17 euros for single/double beds or you can bring your own.

If you need any help during your stay, Sarah Wilson or one of her team are in resort at all times to help and myself aswell via telephone and email. I live a couple of hours away so can come up if needed.

Other Things to Note
You can take the apartment from 4pm on the day of arrival.    Sarah and Helen Wilson and their team organise change-overs and cleaning and she speaks French, Italian and English so can help with many problems!!  She will send you more information on a welcome email. Her site is lales2alpes.com

Deposits for the apartment are 1500 Euros held on credit card swipe when you arrive, or via the booking site.   If you arrive by car I have two covered parking spaces that you can use free of charge (recommended in busy times) and the exterior parking next to the building is free of charge.

I also have a very reasonably priced private chef that can cater the apartment for special dinners or the whole week. Prices from 8 euros for 2 courses. Chantal Donet was the chef in her own Italian/French restaurant in the resort for many years. She is supposed to be in retirement but as we can never truly retire from what we love she is willing to provide her catering skills for meals within the apartment. All your meal requirements and menu plans can be discussed with her according to needs. She can provide just one meal for a special evening or even cater for the whole week and is very flexible to accommodate any requests. The only thing is that menus obviously have to be planned and booked 15 days in advance of your holiday in order to provide time for ordering produce.

Très bon séjour en famille

Séjour en famille de 15 pers très agréable : très bien équipé, grande pièce à vivre, chambres et sanitaires très bien. Déplacement en navette facile(toutes les 15 min), superettes, telecabine Jandri à 10min, loueur de ski en bas de l'immeuble.

Brilliant week in this apartment!

The apartment was great, exactly as described and also contained a lot of extra elements - especially cooking utensils for French cuisine (e.g. fondue). The host and concierge service had excellent communication throughout our stay, the placement was good with ski in ski out on one side of the slopes. As well as a bus every 10/15 minutes that took us down to the main lifts. Overall, we had a great stay. Thanks!

Bon séjour

Espace séjour/cuisine très bien équipé pour 16 personnes (beaucoup de vaisselle, de grandes casseroles, 2 réfrigérateurs, 2 lave-vaisselles)! Globalement l’appartement gagnerait en confort en ayant plus de rangements dans les chambres (les bagages pour un séjour à la neige prennent de la place et toutes les chambres n’ont pas d’espace de rangement) Le logement situé au 7e étage de la résidence n’est pas très bien isolé, il y a pas mal de courants d’air et nous avons eu beaucoup d’odeurs d’égouts plutôt désagréables. Néanmoins les échanges avec la propriétaire sont faciles et cette dernière est réactive à nos questions/demandes!

Déception

Nous avons été très déçus par l'appart: sale appartement, vaisselle, meubles ... mal entretenu! Liste et photos à l'appui. Pas de place de rangement, sauf dans les 2 chambres du bas, celles du haut, aucune armoire, très compliqué à gérer. Odeurs nauséabondes, refoulement des syphons non entretenus, horrible même pour dormir. Chauffage quasi inexistant, en panne dans les chambres où les douches se trouvent et ne fonctionnait pas bien dans le reste de l'appart, avons eu froid tous les jours en rentrant. TV salon ne fonctionne pas, matelas très sales, même si literie confortable. Sois disant ce qui était fourni, comme savons... inexistants. Pas assez de place pour tout citer, à ce budget là, c'est inadmissible! Tcheck in ET tcheck out (annulé la veille) inexistant, cela explique peut-être cela ...

Great holiday

Our stay in the apartment was fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed and was very well kitted out. It was modern and fresh. The shuttle bus in and out of the village was brilliant, but unfortunately stops at teatime. Vicci was always so helpful and attentive in her response to any of our queries. She gave good advice and tips. Her communication and support was excellent.

Good apartment but a few pieces of vital information missing.

The apartment is great for large groups (we had 13) and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and a great communal area for sitting. We didn’t appear to have the correct bedding on arrival but we text the concierge and it was delivered later that evening whilst we were out eating. Remember to take toilet roll with you to resort as the shops are not near enough to the accommodation to just drop in and there was none in the apartment when we arrived, though there are toilets for guests on the first floor. There are plenty of shower facilities, however if you’re all showering at the same time after a day skiing not all of you will get hot water. Often 4 or 5 of us would have cold showers at the end of the day so try to space them out. Some of the bedrooms can be a little noisy with the sound of the elevator all day and night (or what sounds like an elevator) but we usually drowned that out with alcohol! The views from the apartment are beautiful, as it is located up the mountain. The walk to diable is longer than 6 mins, I’d say more like 10, maybe 15 if you have equipment with you which is via 340 steps on stairs. Great going down but hard work coming up, especially for older members and we happened to have someone recovering from cancer in our group. There is a bus service which is excellent in the resort, this operates daily from 07:45 - 18:45, after that you’re walking up. Overall the place is great just a few pointers for further guests to be aware of.

Bel appartement mal entretenu

L'appartement est bien équipé avec un plus pour la cuisine. Dommage qu'il soit mal entretenu. Mais aussi : - il y a 2 salles de bain, les 2 autres sont des cabines de douches avec un lavabo dans deux chambres à l'étage. - un pied de lit double cassé au moment de faire le lit - les protégés matelas et les oreillers n'ont jamais dû être lavés, les assises des canapés sont toutes tachées - une chambre double a l'étage n'a pas d'ouverture (ni fenêtre ni velux) - le coin salon pas du tout adapté pour 16 personnes, 6 max + un canapé a l'écart et pas de table basse - vaisselle salle surtout les poêles - le bruit : les Velux par temps de vent sifflent et on entend l'ascenseur ds les chambres du bas et haut - les 2 belles tables et les bancs sont recouverts de cire collante donc pas nettoyables - wifi très lent - deux balcons non aménagés - pas de check in juste les clés récupérées Rapport qualité-prix élevé par rapport aux prestations.

L'appartement est assez bien meublé, équipé et insonorisé (sauf les soirs de vent car les ouvertures et Velux sont mal isolés). Les pièces sont assez petites, surtout le salon qui n'est pas adapté à 10 personnes ou plus. L'immeuble est loin du centre mais une navette gratuite passe tous les 1/4 d'heures. Une remontée mécanique vers un petit domaine est accessible à quelques centaines de mètres. Le logement et la vaisselle n'étaient pas très propres à notre arrivée. Pas d'état des lieux à l'arrivée. Un tarif pour les draps et serviettes assez excessif. En bref un rapport qualité prix assez moyen.

Heerlijke ruime plek

Fijne ruimte. We waren met 9 volwassenen en 5 kinderen, en hadden genoeg plek in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, dat was heel fijn. Keuken is erg goed uitgerust. Alles is beschikbaar. 2 vaatwassers, ook erg fijn. Er is ook een wasmachine. Fantastisch uitzicht. Goed bereikbaar, en er stopt ook een bus bij het complex. Kamers zijn prima. Wel is de 4-persoons kamer krap als er 4 mensen slapen. Er past dan niets meer bij. In 2 kamers zijn de douches in de kamer.

Brilliant property for large groups!

Myself and ten friends stayed in the property for a week skiing. It was exactly what we were looking for, with multiple separate rooms but a large communal for the evenings. The kitchen is really well stocked with kitchen utensils and it was easy to cater for eleven people at once. The apartment is in a fairly good location for evenings, with most bars, shops or restaurants being within a 10-20min walk. Unfortunately the lift beside the apartment was closed all week, so we got the bus down to/from the main lifts each day. We were pleasantly surpised how reliable the buses were and it was probably less stressful not having to worry about catching the last lifts to get home. A brilliant property for large groups at a very reasonable price :)

De woonkamer was heel fijn. De kamers zijn op zijn frans. Prima maar krap. Zeker met 16 personen. Ligging en skibus verder prima. Jammer dat het onderhoud hier en daar wat achterstallig was. Vaatwasser rubbers elke keer aanduwen, anders liep het water eruit en ook de lade van de vaatwasser liep niet. Schuifeur badkamer liep heel stroef en 2 badkamerputjes douche stonken. Aangegeven en er zou wat aan gedaan worden, maar niemand langsgeweest. Eettafel was heerlijk om met zijn allen te eten en spelletjes te spelen, maar de lak was denken we op, want hij bleef plakkerig aanvoelen,ondanks dat we hem steeds schoon hebben gemaakt. Bij huur appartement geven ze aan dat je 30 % korting krijgt bij skihuur bij firs trax. Krijg je ook, maar duurt heel lang een moeizaam om te huren en kwaliteit en verstand van zaken lijkt er niet te zijn. Zou het niet aanraden. Gewoon naar de intersport of een andere verhuurder gaan.

Fantastic property with amazing views

Lovely apartment with plenty of space for eating and socialising. Amazing views from balony and ski in/out if snow good enough. Will definitely return to this apartment and Les 2 alps

SEJOUR 2 ALPES

Accueil très bon. Logement conforme à l'annonce. Propreté générale du Logement excellente. La vue des 2 petites terrasses est grandiose. Le logement est tres bien equipé pour repondre à la capacité d'accueil (2LV 2 frigo etc...) Je recommande ce logment pour des vacances ou weekend en groupe ou famille. Cdl Arnaud

I was a professional snowboarder for 15 years and obviously fell in love with the mountains!! Having ridden in Les Deux alpes since 2000 I love the parks,terrain and backcountry les 2 alpes has to offer so I brought an apartment in 2003. I have been living in Grenoble for the last 9 years now and renovating properties has now become my job! If you have any questions I can help with please just ask!!

When I first saw this apartment I instantly fell in love with it. It is south facing, light and well set out with the best view in les deux alpes guaranteed! It is a very rare to find a large apartment that gets the first morning light and the last evening sunsets! . There are not many in Les deux alpes so it's the perfect solution to families and friends that want to spend their holidays together. Renovation work was completed in 2018 and the apartment is maintained to a high standard.
