About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

Nice place - difficult to get in

  • 4 of 5

The place is nice...a lot of toys for younger children.

The door is hard to get unlocked but if keep at it the key does work.

Careful on the steps, there are so loose bricks and you could fall.

Owner's Response: The lock has been greased and the bricks have been glued back down. Thank you!

First thing we get there and the house if over 80 degrees. The thermostat does not appear to be working. We try calling Vacasa and no one answers or returns my call. We ask the neighbor if he would help up. He was great. He tried but could not. I call Vacasa again. I finally speak with someone who told me they would have someone out there asap and that they would call me back within an hour to see how things were. No one showed and I never received a return call. We finally figured it out and the next day got the house cooled down. Vacasa never returned my call. The ice machine stopped working, it took the dryer five tries to finally dry our clothes. The couches and beds were very uncomfortable. Only three wash cloths in the entire house, and very few towels.

The house was very clean and the outdoor area and yard were beautiful.

I don't blame the owners of the house, I blame Vacasa for the things that were wrong. I have rented from them before and I can tell you, they are the worse company for really caring for their clients and returning calls.

Be more client friendly

  • 3 of 5

Vacasa stated they would call me back due to our cooling system not working correctly. I told them I could not stay there that night due to the house being over 85. I was told they would have someone out there asap and that they would call me back within an hour. The next morning I was still waiting for a call. No one showed up and no one ever bothered to call me back. You guys really need training on customer satisfaction. On how to treat your clients. Every time you speak to someone from Vacasa, they have the same scripted answers. "Oh yes, I understand, Oh yes, I can help.........blah, blah, blah.

Ice machine did not work, dryer did not work. Only three wash cloths in the entire house, and not many more towels.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see this guest did not feel better cared for during their stay. The property manager did attempt to reach out to this guest but never heard back from them. More washcloths have been brought to the house, the dryer hose has been unpinched, the ice maker has been turned back on, and we are working on a solution for the air conditioning. Thank you!

Nice place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place in a pinch. This house worked out all for us and our inlaws. There are plenty of toys for little son just turned two and loved the different toys. It is tucked deep into a resort complex so it tricky to get to but once you figure out all the turns it isn't so bad.

Be careful on the front steps as some bricks are loose and my father in law fell. Also the front door is difficult to open. The key does just have to keep trying.

This end unit has great light, comfortable furnishings and is very well kept. The property manager was responsive and the home well stocked.
