In Scilla, in Capo Pacì, a family home full of atmosphere designed to enjoy the sea view from every room. The look sweeps across Sicily, the entrance to the Strait of Messina and the passage of the typical fishing boats to swordfish. And from the terraces, to observe changes in water color with the wind, the sunsets, the slow smoke of Stromboli and the Aeolian islands there, one step, it will be a real spectacle.
From the green of the garden terrace where we can trace the typical Mediterranean plants and herbs, constantly eyeing the blue water.
The exclusive access to the sea, the privacy, the beauty of the context and the proximity to the village make this villa unique in its kind. And visiting the surroundings, you will discover corners of an Italy rich in history, tradition and beauty.

Climbing Calabrian Cousins.

This was a wonderful place to spend our last week exploring Calabria. Beautiful villa and Sea! If you like walking, taking excursions and eating this is the place. The only to thing we would have appreciated would have been an a/c unit or ceiling fan in each bedroom for a more comfortable sleep. Daniela was a wonderful and attentive host!

Thank you for your appreciation! As a house policy we do not have a/c units in the bedrooms and each room has a fan. I am sorry for your disappointment but it was specified in the house description!

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Paci. House is beautiful and location is great to explore other areas of Southern Italy and Sicily. My sons enjoyed fishing and jumping off the rocks in the ocean. Lack of air conditioning limited our ability to use all of the rooms in the house and made it uncomfortable to sleep, but it was an extremely hot week in Italy. Overall we loved our stay.

Thanks for your postive feedback! Our house philosophy does not encourage air conditioning but all rooms are equipped with fans, maybe not enough for this extraordinarily hot summer...Sorry for the uncomfortable sleep!

Fantastic

What is there not to like. The views of the sea. On the water, swimming in the sea. Having dinner catered in. The town, the restaurants, the people and the beaches. The house was incredible.... great kitchen and outdoor living spaces. We had a beautiful week. Thank you.

Great holiday with stunning view

Stayed with our family (7 adults) at this wonderful location in Scilla. The house has its own history which you can see in every room with beautiful decorated details. The view from every room and Balkony is stunning and the sea is superb. For older people it is a little bit harder to go into the see but once you are in you wouldn't get out anymore. Daniela the housekeeper is a very lovely person. We were welcomed very pleasently and everything went soomthly. All in all we had some very nice days and I can highly recommend a stay in this residence.

Spectacular setting! Casa Paci is gorgeous — five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and direct access to a terrace or balcony, all with amazing views of the sea and Sicily across the strait. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, and you need to deal with some steps and rocks before you can swim, but it has direct access to a private cove, and we got in the beautifully clear water every day. I opted to have a chef cook two dinners. They were delicious, the service was top-notch, and Daniela, the host, was clear beforehand about the menu and costs. I had some quibbles (tap water wasn't potable, beach towels weren't provided, showers didn't have their own soaps, and we had to provide replacement trash bags and toilet paper), but those are minor complaints, and they dissolved with the sunset across the water every evening.The place is a gem, and Daniela was available to answer all questions before and during our stay. Our stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend Casa Paci.

September 2018 - Villa on the Cliff - WOW!

Villa on the Cliff was more beautiful than our group of 5 couples could have imagined. Cooking in such a lovely kitchen or having our meal prepared for us, was perfect. We ate our meals with a fantastic view of Messina and enjoyed watching the boats and ship pass by. And swimming at the villa as wonderful. The property contact and caretaker were quick to respond to our questions and needs. Getting around the area without a vehicle was very easy. Beautiful Scilla was a pleasant walk away where we enjoyed the beach, restaurants, caught the train or a bus (to take us to nearby cities or towns), visited the castle, or picked up our grocery. Or we would call for a tukk-tukk (local taxi service) to take us back and forth to town.

Unforgettable holiday: very comfortable spacious accommodation with spectacular vistas. Spectacular. Getting in to the sea was a slight challenge for us 70++ but that was the ONLY negative. The sea was perfection. Daniela made everything perfect: booked us into restos we would NEVER have found on our own, showed us the tuktuk ropes which made it inexpensive and fun to pop in to Scilla, go to a different beach or out to dinner . Elizabetta cooked for us three times and we wish it had been more: delicious food, inexpensive, all done with charm and a clean kitchen thereafter - a must. Sundowners on the terrace watching the shipping parade.......ahhh, the perfect transition from swimming to dining. Everything worked. Plenty to see and do in the area.
