Lovely barn conversion in amazing setting. Hosts were friendly and attentive and ready to help in any way. Easy check in, well appointed and plenty of kitchen equipment to hand. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the layout was perfect for our group of 3 couples. We're very likely to revisit!

Great place to stay
Had a lovely relaxing few days here, met up with friends, everything we needed was there, will definitely stay again.
Excellent stay. Property is a beautifully renovated barn - the pictures are good, but it’s even better in person. Lots of space and very comfortable. Hosts are friendly and attentive.
Tucked quietly away very close to the canal, lovely quiet house. We were welcomed and shown all we needed. Kitchen is amazing though we used the bbq as the weather was fabulous.

Thank you for leaving the Barn in such a clean and tidy way.
Glad you managed to make use of the bbq.
A lovely barn conversion which was perfect for us as a family with 2 dogs and near Keele University so we could see our daughter who is studying there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hi Matt,
It was a pleasure to host you and your family and we're so pleased that you had an enjoyable stay.
Our second time visiting and just as good as the first. Fantastic communication and nothing was too much, would definitely look to be back again in the future.
We had such a fabulous stay at Darwin Barn. Such a beautiful place, so spacious and homely. It had everything we needed with a kitted out kitchen, toiletries. The owner was welcoming, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The lakes around hosted lots of wildlife and was so peaceful. Our dogs had the best time. A close walk to the canal where we enjoyed lovely walks, walkable distance to the village where there was some nice pubs. Very happy and we would definitely recommend for a great getaway. Thank you!!
We come to stay over the winter holidays with our three kids, ages 9,7 and 2 and had the most wonderful time! Lyn and Mark greeted us on our arrival and are the nicest hosts. They were very accommodating and helpful. The converted barns are absolutely beautiful, decorated to good taste and a very high standard. The barns were very clean, all the bed linen smelt divine and the barn had everything we needed! There was plenty of room, the barns were lovely and warm and there was plenty of hot water.
The area is beautiful and peaceful and the kids absolutely loved it! We highly recommend Stud Farm Barns and will definitely be rebooking in the summer.

Thanks so much, we enjoyed having you here and the help with Lyn is absolutely fantastic, thanks again.
Look forward to seeing you all again.
I could not rate this place highly enough. As soon as you walk in you are hit by the obvious amount of care, dedication and style the owner quite clearly has for this beautiful property and it’s surroundings. Amenities at every turn and just a wonderful property all together. My only comment is purely that the photos on the website do not do this property justice, the rooms are large, airy and filled with beautiful natural light and I feel that the photos don’t show just how fabulous this place truly is. Lyn, you should be incredibly proud, well done, thank you and look forward to hopefully stopping with you again.

A delight to find a property and host that surpasses expectations.
Stayed for the weekend whilst settling our daughter into university. The property is lovely - sympathetically restored barns with lovely curated interior decor and features. A beautiful location too. Mark and his family made us feel very welcome with the freedom to explore their land and come and go without ever feeling as though we were intruding. Made for a very relaxing backdrop to what was otherwise an a busy and demanding weekend. Thank you!
These barn conversions have been done with no expense spared. Beautifully styled and with everything you could wish for. Owners were lovely to deal with. The location is so peaceful and a pub serving good food within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this place.

Thanks for your kind review, it was great having you here and glad you enjoyed it.
Look forward to perhaps seeing you again.
The property is equipped and furnished to a high standard with every consideration to the needs of the tenants. We loved the attention to detail from the feature window and beams to the artisan lampshades made from reclaimed materials. Consideration has been given to comfort, and there is an understated quality in the choice of furnishings.
We loved the views over the ponds and the Shropshire countryside, and enjoyed exploring. The fishing was excellent! While there are plenty of small fish such as rudd in the upper pond, the big carp in the lower pond were a challenge, and the two we managed to land (20lb+ and 25lb+) were cause for celebration. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. Our long weekend break at Stud Farm Barns far exceeded our expectations and we sincerely hope to return soon.

Thanks for your kind comments, so glad the elusive carp were caught by an obvious professional!
Thanks again and hope to see you again when the fish are even bigger!!!

A lovely barn conversion in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The property was very well equipped with a great kitchen, large head showers in each bedroom and a cosy lounge area with LG smartTV overlooking the pond where we spent the evenings. It was very relaxing sharing my morning cup of tea with the runner ducks and guinea fowl and sometimes Marks (the property owner) dogs which were very friendly. The Whark pub is a short 5 min walk down the road with beautiful vierw along the canal and market drayton was only 10 mins drive away with plenty of shops and take aways.
Mark and Lyn were lovely hosts and we woudl happily come back again and recommend the property to our family and friends.
The area is rural and peaceful and the property itself is set in a beautiful location.
It is comfortable, well equipped and very well presented. It’s really lovely.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Darwin Barn at Stud Farm. The hosts, Mark and Lyn, were incredibly friendly and helpful during our time there, and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. There was also the added bonus of watching the animals run around and the picturesque views that are spectacular of an evening (not to mention the dogs are incredibly friendly!)
It is also ideally situated to visit numerous places nearby (Hawkstone Park Follies and Fordhall Farm are our recommendations!)
We're already looking into a return visit, and even renting out the other barn so we can bring others with us! In short, if you're looking for a spacious yet peaceful place to stay in Shropshire, I don't think you will find a better place to stay than Studfarm Barns.
