Villa Angelos is a typical Corfiot villa with a private pool in the peaceful area of Almyros Corfu, just a couple of km before the town of Acharavi. It is a charming property with the main feature of the beautiful gardens and the traditional Corfiot style. It is located very close to the beach of Almyros, in a quiet area with countryside views.
Layout
It features an open plan kitchen with a living and dining room area decorated with a fireplace. It also houses two double bedrooms, one twin and two shower rooms. At the front of the property, ground balconies connect the villa with the swimming pool and provide al fresco outstanding dining facilities among palm trees and beautiful flowers.
In addition, the built-in BBQ in the courtyard will provide fantastic assistance when you wish to try your cooking skills.
Area
Villa Angelos is less than a kilometre from the nearest shops and tavernas. The famous Almyros beach is located just 300 meters away from the villa. The beach can access on foot. The numerous footpaths surrounding the property can become a good excuse for those who love hiking in the early morning or the spectacular evening hours, watching the sun dipping in the sea.
Due to the afternoon cooling north-westerly winds blowing most of the time, the lounge provides only the facility of ceiling fans and not specifically air – conditioning.

a lovely stay at the villa

We had a lovely stay at the villa. The pool was great, the garden was really nice and the villa was very clean. There were a few nice restaurants within walking distance, and the beach nearby had sun beds to rent for reasonable prices. I would recommend renting a car.

We stayed at the villa for 5 days. The town is around 5 minutes driving and the beach is 3 minutes walking. We enjoyed the pool and BBQ on the property. Would recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Angelos Villa. The outside space was absolutely stunning, extremely private, large terrace area, great BBQ and a fabulous pool. The inside of the Villa was spacious and clean. Eos were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to our communications. Overall a fantastic holiday! Thank you.

Lovely Villa in Great Location

My family enjoyed our stay at the villa, which was well maintained and a very short walk to the beach and local tavernas. There’s a huge choice of shops and restaurants just a short drive away too. The only issue we had was with mosquitoes so do be aware!

Lovely villa set in spacious grounds

The villa is very well furnished in a traditional style. The garden and pool are lovely and a great place to relax and enjoy the sun. There are five good tavernas within easy walking distance and the beach is also just a short walk away. This property is perfect for a relaxing break.

Wonderful quiet week. The house was good, off the beaten track but the cats have been in and if you are allergic this may not work for you. We spent a nice week here eating and reading by the pool, which was very clean.

A beautiful property 5 minutes from the beach and also close to the Green Bus Station towards Corfu town. However, check-in was at 3 p.m., although the website indicated 1 p.m., which could have been communicated earlier. Otherwise we had a great time in Villa Angelos and would come back anytime :)

Perfect location, beautiful pool. and gardens

Good sized property for uptown 6 people, very traditional in style and decor. Th pool and gardens make this the perfect holiday venue, pool is a really good size with plenty of space for sun loungers, lovely stone built BBQ and plenty of outdoor space for eating and drinking. Lovely clean beach only a 5 minute stroll away as well as plenty of really good tavernas such as Petra, George's , Mythos and Avra, all worth a visit. Only room for improvement would have been a small welcome pack at the Villa, we arrived at midnight and there was nothing to make a drink so had to wait until 9am when supermarket opened before we could have anything to eat or make a cup of coffee.

Beautiful property

It sits in a secluded spot 3 mins walk from the beach. Has a lovely pool that sits beneath 3 huge palm trees. All the 3 bedrooms have double doors to the garden. The bathrooms look a little tired but the showers are powerful. All 3 bedrooms have AC. There are two shops nearby to buy provisions. The closest is the one on the beach. There are 3 eating places along the beach. You might want to hire a car to and i would recommend Kassiopi for a bit more life.

Beautiful property and very well located in a recess sheltered from others. The villa is pleasant and very well maintained. The pool is really nice and big and clean. The house is well oriented with its covered terraces and sheltered from the sun to take meals outside (breakfast, lunch, lunch or dinner) very pleasant because a small breeze comes to refresh you on the large terrace next to the swimming pool. The furniture is rustic but correct! Very nice place because the beach is 100 m from the Villa and restaurants are close on the beach side a little further. The town of Acharavi is close by car and all availabilities are present. The large central pharmacy near the fountain (central well in the city in the middle of the street. We speak French. A restaurant that I recommend: the Maestro by the sea and top! Water with a touch of humor and very good food. Enjoy

Villa Angelos is in the perfect location.

Villa Angelos is in the perfect location. It is a short walk from Acharavi beach, the quieter part with lovely clear water and nice sand, although pebbly at water's edge and first part of water, then sand bar further out). Great for kids snorkelling. No ice-cream kiosk / shops though. You have to travel to Acharavi for that (5 mins by car). The town has lots of shops, great supermarkets and restaurants. Coffee 'n' juices was great for ice-cream and The Pumphouse was lovely for food. As mentioned in other reviews the villa is dated inside but kept clean. The bathrooms especially need to be updated. The air-con in the bedrooms is great but the winning part of this villa is the garden and pool. They are immaculate - a lovely place to spend time. The pool goes from 0.99cm to 1.8cm deep. We visited Sidari (beautiful but very busy), Agios Georgios (deeper water), Corfu town and Aqualand (great day out). We had a great holiday and would visit again. Eos were very quick to answer any queries (DVD remote missing - arrived within half hour). Owner lives next door but shielded by bushes so very private.

Super miejscówka, 3 min. pieszo do morza, apartament świetnie wyposażony, cisza, spokój. W miasteczku dużo kafejek, restauracji. Gorąco polecam! (EN: Great location, 3 minutes' walk to the sea, well-equipped apartment, quiet, and peaceful. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in town. Highly recommended!)

Ein schöner Urlaub

Haus, Garten und Lage sind super, allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung der Küche und der Bäder sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sollte dringend renoviert/besser eingerichtet werden. Wir haben z.B.eine Teekanne und eine große Salatschüssel gekauft- und dort gelassen 😉. Ansonsten: ein wunderschöner Urlaub!

Schöner Aufenthalt auf Korfu

Pool ist top und Garten gepflegt. Inneneinrichtung ein wenig älter, aber für eine Woche Aufenthalt vollkommen ok, da man die meiste Zeit eh draußen verbracht hat. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen.

Have enjoyed two weeks in Villa

My wife and I have enjoyed two weeks in Sofronios Villa, along with another couple of friends. Overall, we really enjoed the Villa, it has a lovely spacious garden, suitable for outdoor games, and a very good sized swimming pool. The garden is really the selling point of the Villa, it is almost entirely private, the pool is not visible from anywhere, so if you want seclusion, it is a realy great spot. The Villa iself is quite spacious, two of the bedrooms lead directly to the pool, and the main bedroom leads to a seperate barbecue area which catched the evening Sun. Although it didnt bother us, you do have to walk through bedrooms to get to these areas. The twin and smaller Double room share a bathroom at tone end of the property, the shower is a handheld old fashioned corner pedestal with a shower curtain, The other bathroom has a full shower cabinet. It is very nice Villa, dated in places, if your planning eatling in during your holiday, the equipment is quite basic, particularly if there is a few of you staying. The Villa is located to the East of Acharavi, only a minute walk from the beach, and there are a few Taverns with good Menus within a short walk, but the main shopping and Bar area of the town is 30-40 minutes walk away. we hired Ebikes from S-Bikes in Acharavi and it was perfect, we could cycle in five minutes to town and had the best of both areas. There are quite a few Stray Cats around, they get fed by the neighbours, although we are not Cat Lovers, we shared our Villa with a Cat with half a tail we called Bob, she was a real star and effectively allowed us to share what was plainly her villa. She quickly trained us, and if you do stay here, look after her, she became a great part of our holiday, a very chatty Cat. Finally, take some Mosquito spray to Northern Corfu, the evenings can be bad all around here, but wo ith a good Spray you will be fine. Enjoy the Villa, we would go back again, we loved the Beach, and really Loved Ebiking in the Hills behind, where you really get a sense of old Corfu .

Absolutely loved our stay in the villa

Had a beautiful week stay in this incredible villa.. it was clean, so big and spacious! The pool was incredible. The cleaner who visited was just so lovely. I highly recommend this villa! Just a tip though, take mosquito repellent! Cant wait to return!

Lovely family villa

We stayed in Villa Angelos for two weeks in August 2020 and had a fab time. The villa was spacious and comfortable - a real home from home. The outside space was immaculate with a larger than average pool. I would highly recommend both the villa and Corfu.
