A perfect stay for us. Clean, quiet and accomodating. The fish cleaning station is well designed and we were entertained with several moose visits. We will be back!
I highly recommend staying here whether you are interested in fishing, having a home base for sightseeing or need a relaxing vacation. This place has everything you need to have a wonderful Alaskan adventure.
The hosts provided hospitality and a sincere effort to make our stay a positive experience. Wonderful people. Amazing place!!!
This property is amazing and so are the owners. The property description is spot on and the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcomed! We highly recommend this property and will be back to visit again in the future.
Stayed for a week in late July. Had a great time. Clean place with all the amenities needed and nice fish cleaning station. Moose right in the yard everyday! Definitely recommend.
When I first found this fishing lodge on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was even more perfect then as listed online. Marylee is the most thoughtful, gracious host.
She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The lodge was just perfect for our salmon fishing adventure in Alaska! The full kitchen contained everything we needed. Additionally, the dining room, living room and bedroom with multiple beds was perfect for our fishing group of 5. Not to mention the wader/boot drying room and freezers were so convenient!
The beds are comfortable and the terrace, outdoor seating areas and hot tub, are excellent as well. The location and amenities are just incredible!
Everything here has been so lovingly thought out for a great stay!
Checking required checking in and letting the owner know our arrival. The kitchen was not suitable to making supper out first evening. We went out and got the items we needed to make future meals. The laundry is not nearby and you need to bring your own laundry basket. It actually broke down during our stay. Our clothes hung, and hung. And hung even though they eventually replaced dryer. The laundry facility is locked up in one of the garages, not necessarily nearby….readily for fishy items. The owners were nosy but present.
This rental was perfect for our week of salmon fishing. It was more spacious than the photos show. We had 6 people, between 27-85 and had plenty of space. About 20-30 minutes from good fishing spots along the Kenai. Not a bad commute at all.
Marylee was the greatest! Always made sure we had everything we needed and really felt like a good friend by the end of the week.
Highly recommend this location for your Alaska fishing trip.
Great spot close to fishing but far enough away to feel like secluded. Perfect set up for cleaning fish and gear. Hosts were amazing. Would definitely plan a trip there again.
Marylee was wonderful to work with and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and accommodated. Even with our issues in getting to Alaska she was understanding and calming. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
I spent a long weekend at the Cohoe Lodge with my two boys 11&13. We enjoyed the fire pit on the property, walked to the State recreation site to fish, and explored the area. The host were responsive and accommodating.
