We recently spent 4 days in Yosemite in the 9S Cabin....we LOVED it! The location was amazing. The hikes close by were enjoyable and beautiful. The valley is easily accessible and close by. The cabin itself was very comfortable. Everything we needed was readily available to us. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The fireplace was amazing. The local markets were convenient and very friendly. We will absolutely be back and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Amazing!!
Thank you for taking the time to write this awesome review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time in Yosemite, and your stay in the cabin. We hope to see you again soon!
We stayed in Cabin 9S, just two people in a 3 bedroom... so way too big for us. We loved the solitude here, so quiet at night, and so easy to get to all the hikes we wanted to do in our 5 days in Yosemite. The only surprise was the rusty chunky water that took a few minutes to clear the first night, and about 1 minute on subsequent nights. Also we wanted to do laundry after a long day only to find laundry closes super early. Still with those drawbacks, we loved the area, the staff, and the very dated cabin really grew on us, it felt like home. We would definitely recommend this place, and hope it gets a few plumbing and character updates soon.
Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and your visit to Yosemite. And yes, it is secluded. I will be sure to let both the maintenance staff and the owner know about the issue you had with the water. Sorry about the laundry closing too early for you, but it has to close when the office does. We hope to see you back again soon.
Nice little cabin
Enjoyed the cabin lay out and location. It is pretty dirty, but I guess if you are hiking and outside all the time, its a lot better than a tent.
Thank you for the time spent reviewing us! We appreciate your input, which we will share with our staff, management, and the owner. We hope to see you back soon! The Redwoods In Yosemite
Don't stay here!
The cabin is completely dated and not at all comfortable. I would not sit on the dirty sofa, the beds are rock hard and lumpy, and the kitchen has no dishwasher. The cabin is also very hot in the summer; there are no breezes even with windows open. There was one trash bag, no coffee filters, and the reception office was rude. Stay away.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found the cabin unsatisfactory. Not all of our cabins have dishwashers, and the ones that do will have it listed in the property description on the website. And yes, it can be very hot here during the summer. Other than toilet paper and Kleenex, paper products are not provided. Be assured management and owner will see this review.
The cabin was basically fine. The cleanliness of was disappointing. The table was filthy and the carpets not vacuumed, food on the floor. For the price of the stay it was too much.
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you found the cabin unsuitable. Know that the appropriate departments will be notified of your review. Hope to see you again soon.
