Detached rural cottage in Friesland

This partially renovated laborers house belongs to an old Frisian haubarg outside Pingjum. The house has a cozy living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 double bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs is a second double bedroom with an extra bed on the landing. Cot is available if necessary.

The house is completely separate from the farm. We are always available for questions or comments.

The cottage is switched built with an office that is not accessible. The entré for the office does NOT go through the house so you are completely free!

We live on the other side of the road, there is our farmers company and we are almost always present / working. We would like to advise you about the area.

Friesland has a lot to offer, water and lakes enough. Lovely very characteristic mound villages and charming towns like Harlingen, Franeker and Bolsward are within cycling.

Public transport (bus) coming in Pingjum twice a day. Harlingen is the nearest train station and if necessary we will pick you up there.
Only 100 km away from Amsterdam, so a day trip across the dam by North Holland and Amsterdam in diving is doable. A crossing over the Wadden Sea to the Wadden Islands Vlieland or Terschelling is a must.

Just past the farm stands a windmill. We are big fans of wind energy. Sometimes you hear the mill sound. Maybe you need to get used to but it is sleeping comfortably with the swishing of the blades.
