Brand New Construction! Beautiful state of the art 4 bedroom luxury villa with Ocean Views across from Dream Inn. 2 king size beds, 1 queen bed, kids room w/ 4 beds (two bunks), 3 decks, garage parking, gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances.

Incredible location across from the Wharf, Cowell’s Beach, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Visitor’s Center in beautiful `Surf City` Santa Cruz, California.
City ordinance requires quiet hours in exterior spaces after 10pm. No parties or loud gatherings. No music or noise on exterior decks after 10pm please. Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years. Owner will send separate contract for guest`s signature.

In addition to cancellation policy- All Payments are Refundable less the direct costs charged for the cancellation by the credit card processing company of up to 4% until 60 days before reservation, then they become nonrefundable.

Lovely place in Santa Cruz

This was a large convenient place to stay close to the wharf, boardwalk and Westcliff. Clean, surprisingly quiet, and a great kitchen well equipped for feeding a large family. Thanks for a fun stay!

Great Host and Location

Stayed here multiple time and it is always a joy. Great location near the beach and boardwalk. Hosts are very attentive and are genuinely concerned about our stay. Will be coming back!

Large and spacious with a terrific location for surfing or Boardwalk. Renting the Penthouse as well was a great choice since this particular unit has restricted ocean viewing from the building next door, and the Penthouse view is spectacular. This is still a great choice, but I would do the second floor the next time. Great communication with the management team.

Great time on the coast

My family spent a long weekend at this property and found the home to be as advertised. The location was great (short walk to the beach/boardwalk/wharf) and the amenities were top of the line. Enjoyed the trip and hope to be back soon.

This is my family's third year staying here. It's a great location for my kids and my aging parents. The elevator is awesome! It is kept very clean. The open floor plan is great and the kitchen is fantastic.

Great Family Get Together

It was a great place for a family gathering. Kids and grandkids! We spent every day at the beach - the weather was sunny everyday but today. The day we are leaving. Gorgeous kitchen, lots of room to spread out, and a great view.

Awesome villa at an awesome location

Can't believe how lucky we were to score this villa! We are part of a training group and staying in town for a race in Santa Cruz. This place is so close to the beach, West Cliff Drive, the start and ending areas for our race. The villa itself was clean and nice, with comfortable beds for everyone. Owner and manager were great about checking in with us. The only thing about coming with a group, is that there is only parking for 2 cars, so any additional cars had to park in a different neighborhood, but this was a minor inconvenience for the great location and stay. My housemates and I are looking forward to coming back again!

Thanksgiving get together

Home had plenty of space in all the right places. Especially kitchen, dining and family room. For 5 adults and 3 grandkids. Large table for meals and large table for puzzle and games. Quick manager response for minor needs. Quirky elevator for luggage and ADA use. Fine after short learning curve Walk to beach. Great views from living area and outdoor patio overlooking beach about 2 blocks away. Timely return of full security deposit.

Your place was very spacious, clean, and has an excellent location.

Our family had a great time because of the excellent location. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are large. The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped. The evenings were quiet, we did not hear a lot of ruckus going on outside. Little things that maybe we wish there was: a couple of more comfy chairs in the family room. Because the place sleeps 10, we usually have more than two cars. So parking was a little tricky for the third car. ( I appreciated the two spots though. ) It was very nice to have an elevator. My parents are getting older now. Derek was very kind and easy to work with. That always makes a vacation off to a good start.

Alumni women's getaway weekend

While there were lots of rules to follow to the point we were a bit paranoid (and I will be until I receive my full deposit back), having those rules provided us with the ability to understand how to use the unit's amenities and the local regulations required of everyone in a city none of us are from. Management was very communicative while also not being invasive during our stay. The common spaces are gorgeous and useful for our group of eight women, beds comfortable, and everything clean. Just a couple of things to be mindful of - not all windows in common area have curtains, you can sometimes hear people above moving around, and you must be extremely careful when parking and entering/exiting the garage. I LOVED the videos provided to help us see ahead of time how to properly access and use everything. For a group looking for a peaceful getaway, it was perfect.

Lovely place, but…

All the public rooms are beautiful and light filled, the kitchen a masterpiece, but the bedrooms not so much. The small elevator, which serves 3 units , was problematic. While my husband quickly mastered the operating instructions, those in other units did not. As a result getting ourselves, groceries and luggage up and down was frequently difficult. Given my use of a cane,, lack of reliable elevator service was a drawback. In spite of the issues I’ve noted, the unit’s location was wonderful.

Great trip and vacation rental

Property was perfect for our Girls trip. Alex was so helpful and checked during our stay to make certain all was going well. Friends who had never visited Santa Cruz loved our location. Definitely would book this property again. Only recommendation is to provide a few extra blankets, 60+ women get cold.

Cousin's Get Away

Eight of us celebrated our 8th Annual Cousin's Get Away at this wonderful location. It was actually our second visit there. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the Wharf, Boardwalk and seaside walking trails. Any question I had was quickly answered by Alex, the property manager. She was wonderful and very helpful.

Great Place!

Wonderful spacious condo in an excellent location. Within very close walking distance to the wharf, boardwalk, and nice restaurants. The ocean was visible from the balcony. The garage and use of beach accessories was an added bonus.

Great Location

Our family had a wonderful time at this location. It is a super short walk to everything the boardwalk has to offer and the place has a ton of room. Parking is safe. Host if available and helpful. Great experience.

Wonderful Location

A block away from beach, Boardwalk, and the pier. Enjoyed walking to the fish market at the end of the pier to get fresh fish for dinner. One of our group is a runner. Had a wonderful run along the ocean.

We founded Montalvo Homes & Estates, a high end residential and commercial brokerage in Santa Cruz. I serve as president of the local educational foundation, library friends board and serve on the Planning Commission for Scotts Valley.

Why they chose this property

We designed this property and built it from the ground up in our favorite spot in Santa Cruz. Construction completed in October 2014. We used the finest building materials, and borrowed ideas on amenities from resorts we have visited around the world. There really isn't a better location to experience all the fun of Santa Cruz. The location puts in you a spot where you never have to get in your car to enjoy all that Santa Cruz has to offer. You could stay a month and not hit every restaurant in walking distance.

What makes this property unique

From the moment you drive up, you'll notice the arched toped hand hewn wooden doors, and when you step into your unit, you will find old world hand chiseled travertine stone floors through out. Enjoy your favorite drink from the bar in the kitchen, while watching the ocean at Cowells Beach. Dozen of restaurants are just outside your door, or if you like to cook, the Viking Range is professional quality. If you are travelling with Friends, you'll enjoy having two master suites, each with a kind size bed. We designed this property for our own enjoyment, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
