Escape to this charming 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in Santa Cruz, featuring stunning ocean views of Corcoran Beach and the lagoon (Permit: 241247). Relax on the deck with outdoor seating and a BBQ, enjoy the playroom for kids, or stay active with a Peloton (BYO membership). With its unique earthy vibe and rustic wood and stone decor, this home embodies "Il Dolce Far Niente," the sweet art of doing nothing. Welcome to your pocket of sunshine!



The Space:

- Comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests

- 3 bedrooms - 2 King beds, 1 Queen bed

- Shared space w/ a queen size sofa sleeper

- 2.5 bathrooms

- There are 2 reserved parking spaces in the driveway. There is no parking available on the street in front of the home. If you have a third car, you need to park on the adjacent street and walk about 5 minutes to the house. Guests cannot park in the garage.

- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker

- Living room

- A deck with stunning ocean views, an outdoor dining table, and BBQ + Backyard with outdoor seating

- For safety, the fireplaces are not operable (in the home and on the upstairs deck).

- NOTE: There is no washer and dryer.

- Corcoran Beach is just a quick 5-minute walk away! Simply head to the end of the road and access the sand from East Cliff. Please note, there isn't direct beach access from in front of the house.

- The lagoon across the road attracts seasonal migratory birds, offering a unique bird watching opportunity. During the season the birds are in the area, their cheerful chatter can add to the natural ambiance. Our team regularly cleans the patio and windows, but you may notice some bird droppings in the outdoor areas during peak migration. We appreciate your understanding as you enjoy this beautiful, natural setting.

- Please note that while the primary bedroom is the only room on the top floor, it does not have a locking door to make it a fully private space, so it will not provide complete privacy if other guests come upstairs.

- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced)

- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.

- Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable).

- NO PETS

- Down alternative pillows and comforters



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home, except the garage and a room downstairs that are reserved for owner's storage. Guests will NOT be able to park in the garage.

This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.

Other Things to Note:

-There is no washer or dryer available at the property.

- On the upper level near the primary bedroom, there’s a queen-sized sofa sleeper that adds extra flexibility for your group—great for kids or laid-back sleepers! While it offers extra sleeping space, please note that it may not be as plush as a traditional bed.

- Corcoran Beach is just a quick 5-minute walk away! Simply head to the end of the road and access the sand from East Cliff. Please note, there isn't direct beach access from in front of the house.

- The lagoon across the road attracts seasonal migratory birds, offering a unique bird watching opportunity. - We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.

- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.

- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.

- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.

The house itself was amazing with plenty of room for all 8 of us, including two kids who were very grateful for the toys! The views could not be better, ALL beach front that was super easy to access. Although SC can be busy with traffic, grocery stores and anything else we needed was within 10 minutes or so by car. The house in not for those who meander through town and walk home but the views make up for that - truly amazing!

I love this location and watching the crashing waves is epic!! The house is fantastic. We wish we had more time to enjoy, but we had to get out on the road early. The host is quick to respond and I can’t say enough about the view! I will take my family back for sure!

Beautiful home with great views and a really comfortable layout. The location was fantastic — we had an excellent time. We’d definitely stay here again. The only note is that the master bathroom shower could use some updating, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful stay.
