The Villa Elena is very beautiful place to stay

Everything was very good. Wi-Fi was good, the rooms and terraces and the pool was very fine but maybe you could take a look at the dishwasher it is not in good order, a broken wheal. But every other things was very fine.

Beautiful Villa - Perfect for Families and Friends!

A group of family and friends rented this Villa for 7 days. During this time we had the best time! We even had a wedding at the Villa! Giulia, the hostess, made our stay truly wonderful by helping us with the wedding, dinners, tours, and suggestions around Conca dei Marini. This is the perfect town for an Amalfi vacation. Close enough to Amalfi and Positano, but away from the crowds. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this villa for your vacation!

A relaxing stay

We stayed as a group of 7 people (5 adults and 2 teens). Giulia was very helpful and communicative long before our arrival and throughout our stay. She gave us a tour when we checked in and reached out a number of times during our stay to see if we needed anything. The two teens were celebrating birthdays and Marica arranged for a beautiful cake as a gift. Very thoughtful. The location is beautiful with a lovely view. We didn’t have a car so we walked to dinner (there’s 2 restaurants – one in each direction – Nino’s and Le Bonta del Capo. Try both. Nino’s was very homey, traditional and welcoming. Le Bonta del Capo is more upscale but also very good.), a small market which has all the necessities, a wine shop, and a pottery shop with also has great cappuccino’s and croissants with a lovely view – just past Nino’s on the opposite side of the street. I wish we found it earlier in the week!). Yes, there are stairs but you shouldn’t go to the Amalfi Coast if you don’t like stairs. I would recommend the porter. Well worth the money to have them carry your bags up the stairs. One recommendation I have for guests is to make sure you understand how to use the kitchen appliances. We didn’t bother to ask at check in and then struggled to figure them out during our stay. Of course, Giulia quickly showed us at check out so it’s our own fault for not asking. One con – some barking dogs up behind the villa. We didn’t hear them in our room but a couple of our friends who stayed in the

Amazing property to stay !

My family enjoyed our stay at Villa Elena on a trip to the Amalfi Coast. We had high expectations looking at the photos on the web, actually arriving at the villa easily exceeded them! The villa is spacious and the variety of rooms, all with private bathrooms, air conditioning and great wifi, are so fun to explore. The terrace overlooking Capri, the garden, the pool, the ocean view, you will have to see it in person to really experience it. Marica is our host, she offers hospitality second to none. Highly recommended!

Fantastica giornata

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico presso Villa Elena. La villa Ú molto bella e pulita, le camere da letto bellissime, ognuna aveva il proprio bagno. L'area della piscina e il terrazzo all'aperto con vista sui faraglioni di Capri Ú strepitosa. Marica Ú stata un host incredibile: ci ha accolto presso la villa, ci ha mostrato le camere e ci ha aiutato con gli spostamenti e noleggiare una barca per Capri. Consigliamo vivamente questa villa.

Disappointing Stay at Villa Elena: Unresolved Issues and Inconveniences!

I recently stayed at Villa Elena, a centrally located and beautiful property. However, my experience was marred by several issues. Although the management team responded to our requests, they were unable to resolve the hot water problem, resulting in cold showers for most of our stay—an unacceptable inconvenience. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was out for an entire evening and part of the following day. We also dealt with a persistent ant problem in the rooms, which remained unresolved despite two visits from the cleaning staff. The main gate was often jammed and difficult to open, which added to our frustration. The villa provided only a limited number of towels for our group of 13, forcing us to do laundry frequently. Pool towels were missing initially and were only provided after we pointed out the oversight, reflecting a lapse in management. These unresolved issues and lack of compensation for the inconveniences led to a disappointing stay. I recommend potential guests carefully consider these factors before booking.

Sub par for the price!

I recently stayed at this property, and unfortunately, it was overall a mediocre experience. First off, the lack of air conditioning was a major issue. We visited during a warm period, and the house became almost unbearable in the afternoons and evenings. Even with fans, it was uncomfortable, and it made it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. They have air conditioning but it is completely useless. Another significant problem was the ant infestation. We noticed ants in the kitchen on the first day, and despite our efforts to keep things clean, they seemed to be everywhere. Another issue is you have to climb 80+steps and the host asked us to pay $15/bag to have a porter. To make matters worse, the place was lacking in basic amenities. The toiletries provided were of poor quality and in very limited supply. We ended up having to go out and buy our own, which was inconvenient and unexpected given the price I paid for the rental. Overall, the property is average for the price they demand. Lack of air conditioning, combined with the ant problem and the subpar toiletries, made for an uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend this property and suggest looking elsewhere for a better experience. Unless you have your own transportation this area is very difficult to access. I would recommend staying near the water as this place is way high up. The views from the pool are good but they are blocked by the planters which made no sense to me.

Family trip of a lifetime to the most beautiful Villa

Villa Elena is a stunning property with plenty of space for a large group. It’s even more lovely than the pictures. We stayed with adults and young children and we enjoyed all that Conca dei Marini has to offer. Villa Elena is in a great location; close to the square and restaurants and grocery store. The pool was lovely and the terraces have views out of this world! We’re already planning our next trip! Giulia was so helpful. Marica always responds to emails quickly. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here

Great property!!!

This place was better than the photos!!! The location was centrally located on the Amalfi coast yet in a beautifully non crowded area. We had beautiful food nearby and the hostess was very friendly and accommodating! This is a place I would love to revisit!!

Family vacation on the Amalfi Coast !

The week at Villa Elena was perfect for our family of 15 — grandparents / our children / AND the 8 grandchildren! The 7 bedrooms were private with individual bathrooms ,,, the view was fabulous from all levels of the property— and the pool was a big hit for the entire family. When you stay at Villa Elena — you enjoy the Amalfi Coast in a quiet beautiful area — and only minutes to the drama of tourists in the towns of Amalfi and Positano. It’s a vacation with great memories !

Beautiful villa and pool away from the tourists

The photos really don’t do the villa justice. Most rooms are their own little suite with a private door going out to the pool and sitting areas. The pool was perfect. We enjoyed both restaurants that were nearby and the grocery store was very convenient. Getting to the main towns is a bit difficult. The buses run infrequently and cabs are pretty expensive. I would recommend this villa if you want to spend a lot of time there with friends and family and have a beautiful and spacious home base. As noted in the listing, there are several stairs up to the villa but the entire area is like that. If you don’t like stairs, don’t go to the Amalfi Coast.

Absolutely Perfect!

No complaints on the property. It was clean, in great condition and as described. Only great things to say about the location...perfectly situated with easy access to the upper road and the lower road to get anywhere along the coast. The hostess was fabulous and helped us through anything we needed. I would stay here again!! Prepare for a daily workout anywhere you stay in Amalfi, but particularly in Conca as walking is the best (and most fun) way to get around and there are a lot of stairs! Be sure to stop by and say hi to Salvatore and rent a scooter and the base of the steps! Ninos was of course delicious and very close by.

Amazing Amalfi Coast Property

Our group of 8 (4 couples, ages 35-60) fell in love with the exquisite gem, Villa Elena. From the time of our original booking, Marica was extremely helpful and prompt in answering all our questions. As our trip approached, we were connected with our host, Guilia, who was absolutely fantastic. Guilia assisted with transportation to and from the villa, arranged tours (shopping trips, cooking class, wine tasting, and a private boat trip to Capri). She went above and beyond expectations to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The location was perfect as it sits between Positano and Amalfi, close enough to enjoy surrounding areas, but far enough away to relax in the quiet and quaintness of Conca dei Marina. The villa was just as described; spacious, elegant, and meticulous. There are many seating areas to relax and experience the breathtaking view. We stayed in May with unusually warm weather so enjoyed cooling off in the pool and sitting on the patio. We chose to eat most of our meals at Nino’s when we were not out and about. The food was amazing and the staff treated us as family. As mentioned in other reviews, there are a lot of steps up to the villa, but there are many steps all over Amalfi, so just make sure you are prepared before you go. We have already decided to return next year with our adult children and are excited for them to experience the Villa Elena and Amalfi Coast hospitality. Thank you Marica, Guilia, and Villa Elena Staff for a truly wonderful holiday.

Court séjour avec 3 familles

Nous avons passĂ© le week-end de PĂąques Ă  la Villa Elena Ă  3 familles dont 7 jeunes entre 17 et 23 ans! Magnifique villa trĂšs bien entretenue et qui correspondait parfaitement Ă  nos attentes: le l'espace pour tous, de belles chambres en suite et une Terrasse magnifique oĂč il fait bon passer du temps entre amis. Sympa l'Ă©picerie juste Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied. Merci Ă  Guilia et Ă  notre hĂŽte! On recommande. Natacha

The Place You’ll Want to Stay in Conca Dei Marini.

Our group of 3 greatly enjoyed our recent stay at Villa Elena. The interior is nicely decorated with antique furniture and beautiful ceramics and has a magnificant view of the ocean. While there are 7 well decorated bedrooms we only used 2 of them — the one located off the kitchen in the main part of the house (living room/kitchen/dining room) and another one on the 2nd level. The expansive patio off the living room has 2 high quality square sun umbrellas that are approx 10x10 each and afford plenty of shade. The pool is quite nice — but not heated — and there are 2 bedrooms steps away. We had hoped to use the pool more than we did mainly because the weather was spotty and a bit cool w/a few days of rain. There are additional seating areas (patio & garden) on the 2nd level where the remaining 4 bedrooms are located. In short, guests will have no shortage of places to sit and take in the view. As for steps, others have already commented at length about this and there is no need to spend much time on it other than to say that: if you arrive with luggage, we strongly advise that you ask the very friendly and attentive Giulia to arrange for a local porter to do so when you arrive and when you depart. It is money well spent and you will be very happy that you were not lugging your 2 bags up to the Villa 
..or down 62 steps when you depart. We departed at 7:15 am on a rainy/windy day and were happy to have our 5 bags brought down to the car. Giulia was in constant contact with us and was invaluable, helping to make restaurant reservations; a private boat excursion to Capri; visit to a cheese shop in Ravello, etc. If we had one suggestion for the owner, it would probably be to please stock the villa with water. Prior to coming to Conca Dei Marini we rented a property on the Isle of Ischia which was stocked with about 2 cases of water (still and sparkling) and a welcome bottle of French champagne. Lugging water up to the villa over & over is a bit of a pain. That said — fun time!

Fantastic Villa for the Amalfi Coast

We had an amazing time at Villa Elena from beginning to the end of our stay. The villa was spotless and gave our group the perfect amount of space and a great spot from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. Giulia was super attentive and so helpful to us on a daily basis helping with everything from restaurant bookings, transport and activity recommendations during our stay.

Great Villa with stunning view, pool and perfect hostess support

We (2 German families, all adult) really enjoyed our 2 weeks at Villa Elena. The Villa offers a stunning view over the sea, has a pool to relax and cool down, a big terrace for dining inc barbecue and all rooms offer onsuite bathrooms. We used the Villa as a basis for activities such as boating, and tours to Capri, Pompeji, Vesuv, Positano, Ravello etc. Our hostess Giulia did a fantastic job with providing recommendations, making reservations at restaurants and organizing everything for us we asked for. She is always reachable for help and a nice person. The landlord Marica and Giuseppe provided good upfront information about the Villa and potential activities. All in all a very nice vacation.

Villa con vista sui faraglioni di Capri

Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno in questa splendida villa da cui si vedono i faraglioni di Capri !!! Le foto non mostrano la reale bellezza della villa che Ăš fornita di tutto ciĂČ che occorre. E’ in realtĂ  una specie di piccolo hotel, ogni camera Ăš indipendente dotata di bagno privato per garantire la massima privacy. Il supermercato Ăš a 5 minuti a piedi, ristorante, pizzeria e macellaio solo a due passi. Dalla vicina fermata del bus Ăš possibile raggiungere Amalfi in circa 20 minuti. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della nostra decisione di affittare questa villa e non vediamo l’ora di ritornare.
