About Pam Pulliam
My husband and I have lived at Pettit Bay for the last 35 years. We enjoy the peaceful, rural surroundings and beautiful Tenkiller Lake. My husband and I raised our 3 children in this area. We love the lake and are excited to share this area with you, your family or guests.
Pam Pulliam purchased this Cabin in 2013
What makes this Cabin unique
The property is gated and private. You can see all kinds of natural wildlife. There are 2 ponds on the property. One pond is easily visible and the other one, we call the secret pond, is hidden in the woods. You are welcome to fish in both. The lake is just minutes away, down the mountain, at Pettit Bay Campground. There is easy access to boat launching, fishing and swimming at Pettit Bay Campground. You are welcome to hike and explore the 37 acres, fish in the ponds, and build a campfire in the fire pit. We will provide wood for your campfires. The log cabin has been updated a bit since the Girl Scouts used it. There is wood laminate flooring throughout and the 2 bedrooms were added to the floor plan. There is also a faux wood gas heater in the living area.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay at Petit Mt. Ranch Log Cabin. We found the property easy to find. We enjoyed brining our two dogs, however, there was a non-refundable $50 fee for each dog that I didn't see mentioned anywhere. The place is spacious. We enjoyed working on two puzzles and watching some old DVD's at night. We hiked and played with the dogs during the day. Best part is that dogs don't have to be leased. One small issue we had was that someone was using the land while we were there. This was fine but the way the description reads I thought it would be "private" or not be shared with others. In any event, this was no big deal but it would have been nice to be informed that someone was going to be accessing the land while we were there. As you can see, it did not alter our rating of the place. We would stay again.
Exceeded My Expectations & Our Dogs Were Welcome
My husband and I rented this cabin last minute to spend time with our adult children at Thanksgiving. We wanted something rustic and secluded and although I felt from the photographs that it was not going to be what I wanted, I was wrong. This property faces the woods and definitely gives you the in-the-woods feeling. There are other dwellings on this property but are so far away you do not even notice. Pam was awesome and always responded quickly with any questions. We loved it so much we are looking to purchase property in the area in the near future. Our dogs were welcome which makes it even better!
Beautiful&quiet setting! Loved the Log cabin. Pit was so fun at night.
Lovely time. Close to Talequah. Great cabin and acreage.
The property was well maintained and quite the house was great
The property was in a great location but it had no wi-fi and it needed a shower chair for the shower.
Thank you for your review. I have added a shower chair for those who may need one. It is stored under the bathroom sink.
This was a nice getaway. It is a fairly secluded home with lots of charm!
We enjoyed our stay! Thank you for allowing us to have the opportunity to have a roof over our heads when it was pouring down rain! We stayed a few nights to help our son get acquainted with Tahlequah and move in to NSU. He enjoyed lounging on the couch and watching TV. We thoroughly enjoyed building a campire and roasting marshmallows!! Great stay!
Literally, the PERFECT spot
My husband and I took our three littles (ages 2-5) on our first ever family vacation this year. This was our home for the first few days of our trip, and the kids were begging us to stay forever. The cabin itself is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked with the essentials. Though the description says dining space for six, be advised that there are only four plates in the cupboard! I'm glad we brought paper, but mostly because I didn't have to spend as much time doing dishes and could be with the family. We ventured down each path that the property had to offer, crossing the dry creek bed, discovering the second hidden pond, and collecting bonus firewood the whole way. We went fishing with a variety of bait in both ponds, but caught nothing. I think perhaps all the fish have been caught. The pond that is visible from the road is teeming with polliwogs though! There is something about watching little boys run and be free that makes a mama's heart soar, and this was the perfect spot for that. My husband and I sat around the campfire after they were nestled in bed and talked, stared at the bright summer stars, and listened to all of the chirping and croaking we could want. Pam was so easy to communicate with and incredibly hospitable. We ventured out to Tenkiller Lake-more specifically Pettit Bay-to a beautiful swimming area (about a five minute drive). Take a little cash for campground fees, and go let the kids splash in the bay and play on the playground! We made all of our meals at the cabin with food from home, but Tahlequah is not too far if you needed a store or restaurant. Do bring something to help with ticks though. Our first afternoon adventuring dropped 19 on me alone! Just be ready to do a tick-check every time you come back in from being outside! This cabin was perfect, and we will be back again and again. Thank you, Pam!
I am so happy your family enjoyed themselves. FYI, for your next visit, the plastic plates, bowls and glasses I have displayed in the china cabinet may be used by all. They cannot go in the microwave but you can definitely use them to eat off of if you need them.
Thanks again for choosing my property.
