This property certainly lived up to expectations! It was a traditional Sicilian house in a peaceful and tranquil location with stunning views to the sea and surrounding mountains. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We took time each day to relax and enjoy the property and outside areas (balcony and terrace).
Silvia and Carmelo were so helpful and welcoming and were lovely hosts who ensured we had everything we needed.
The main village of Savoca is a 20 minute walk away and is a great place to explore and has several good restaurants. The views from the village are amazing! Taormina and the surrounding area are within easy reach by car.
Perfect for a restful holiday, thank you Silvia and Carmelo!

Happy to know that Dave and Pamela spent a lovely stay in Casa Santa Domenica, definitely they were some of the best guests we've ever had. So nice and ready to explore all the beauty of Savoca, we were really lucky to meet them. We really hope to welcome them again very soon. Silvia and Carmelo

wonderful - meraviglioso
we enjoyed our stay very much. the house is so cosy and we very much liked the old bricks, the furniture and the attention to detail. the house is fully equipped, there is really everything one could need, it's like a home away from home.
our host silvia and her son francesco were so kind. they were very welcoming, very supportive and gave us all the information we needed. we even had fruits, food and water waiting for us when we arrived. we couldn't have had it any better.
savoca and its surroundings are very nice, too. we enjoyed the silence and being away from the hectic, sitting on the balcony and seeing the sea and the mountains was very relaxing. if you like to be away from the too touristy spots, yet be close to the etna region, taormina and the beach, you should stay there!

A really well kept, comfortable and tastefully furnished property. Silvia was the perfect hostess
Savoca is a beautiful and interesting hill top village with wonderful views. The house is about a 10 minute walk into the centre. There isn't a proper food shop in the village but Silvia had left pasta and basics in the house and there are a couple of bars and restaurants in the village itself. If you like getting away from it all would highly recommend this lovely place.
