About the property

Woodworking Project built by you while onsite, create a lasting legacy in wood.

Adventure Vacation - Educational - Vocational

Stay in custom built cabins onsite at the Wooden Bucket List Woodworking Studio, 140 sprawling acres Visit the woodworking studio to watch master craftsmen build furniture with reclaimed lumber and old world techniques.

The Studio starts production at 7am daily so there is no sleeping in, come down to the Studio and start working on the project you have chosen to complete during your stay.

Choose from an Oval 5 foot table, Harvest Table Bench, Faux Beam Mantel with hidden compartment, Head Board, Pie Safe, Gardeners Table, French Doors, Harvest Table and more..... We will even work on custom projects from drawing to completion if you are staying a week.

You select the timber you will be using for the project, measure and cut your materials, assemble your project, hand scrape and finish the project so you can take it home with you.

Amazing views - piles of Reclaimed Timber, barn wood and huge beams from bridges and mills that have been torn down to re purpose and rescue for furniture and furnishings.

Learn from a master craftsman, Ray Robirds, who has retired from Hollywood to the Ozarks. Instead of building homes for movie stars he now teaches at his Bucket List Studio.

Branson Missouri is just 20 minutes away so in the evening you can get over to Branson and see a music show, eat at one of the great restaurants or relax on Table Rock lake.

Shop closes at 4pm each day. So are free to go enjoy some of the great Ozarks hospitality this region is best known for.

About Paul Miller

Born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1945, Raised in the Ozarks.

Raymond Robirds went to California in 1964. He looked for a job daily in Venice Ca. He finally landed a job with Weidman Studios building 14th-18th Century reproductions. He then went to Melrose place where he noticed some of the furniture was being sold. He asked the store owners if he might work for them. They agreed and let him unpack and repair a lot of exquisite European furniture and antiques.

For over 50 years, Robirds has been commissioned by Beverly Hills and Bel Air Notables to create luxurious lifestyles from the best of the past. Robirds prides himself on designing and crafting his own hardware to compliment his unique creations. He uses a variety of aged woods, all of which are hand-hewn and hand-rubbed.

Every piece is exclusively designed and skillfully constructed with the down to earth elegance in mind.

Ray now lives and works in the beauty of the Ozarks of Southern Missouri. His focus right now is to continue making beautiful furnishings and to start teaching his craftsmanship to others.

Paul Miller purchased this cabin in 2007
