Casa Fantastica, completed in 2009, is a “Tropical Modern” style resort home that was built by owners that have designed, constructed, and managed the premier rental homes in Manuel Antonio. After many years of catering to their customers' needs, they built the best, and a most desired vacation home in the area; one that would meet all their customer’s expectations, and a little more. The view that surrounds this setting is nothing less than absolutely amazing. The rain forest is below, stretching to the beach and the Pacific Ocean, which is decorated with the Manuel Antonio National Park Islands and Cathedral Point Peninsula. There are daily visits from the prolific tropical wildlife including three different species of monkeys, toucans, and other exotic birds. Private chef services and a happy hour bartender are included with the rental with the cost of food and beverages additional. The Villa: The 12,000 square-foot, 4-level home is divided into two wings. The materials used are glass, rare woods, travertine marble, limestone, terrazzo, custom ceramic tiles, stucco, stainless steel, and copper. The entry level features a waterfall entrance, a glass bottom papyrus pond, a grand salon with a large wet bar, flat screen TV, sound system, 2 outdoor living rooms, 12-seat dining room, and outdoor dining area for an additional 12, 2 half baths, and a BBQ. The gourmet kitchen includes granite, stainless steel, and wood counters, custom cabinets and custom-built modern appliances. Outside there is a hotel size pool with graduated entry, infinity edge with ocean view. Very large parties can be hosted in this spectacular and comfortable entry level.

Luxury Bedrooms: The upper level houses the master suite, three large king bedrooms, and two covered balconies with generous seating. The lower level has two deluxe bedrooms with baths, a game room, a cinema, and a gym. The 4th level is where the second master suite is tucked away for maximum privacy. There are six king-size bedrooms in all. All the beds are dressed in 500-count Egyptian cotton sheets with both feather and hypo-allergenic pillows. Every bedroom is air-conditioned and has a steel safe for valuables. The baths have tropical soaps, bathrobes, and plenty of towels. Three bedrooms have ocean views; the rest have jungle views.

Cinema - Game room - Gym - Staff: The game room entertains with a regulation-size pool table, Foosball, ping pong, and darts. Large, wrap-around banquet seating lines one wall. There is also an air-conditioned, 500 sq. ft. gym with 2 stationary bikes, an electronic treadmill, a universal machine, dial weights, and space for private classes. The theater is air-conditioned and has a digital projector, sound system, terraced seating for 30, and a wet bar with fridge and microwave for popcorn and other snacks. Casa Fantastica has three housekeepers who care for the home six days a week and will see to all of your cleaning needs. Laundry service is provided bi-weekly for sheets and daily for towels that are left on the floor. Personal laundry service is offered once a week, and more is available and can be arranged through your host. There is a gardener, a pool service, and a maintenance man who is always on call. A private chef and happy-hour bartender are included for two meals a day and provide delicious gourmet food for your entire group. The dedicated staff of Escape Villas is at your disposal 24 hours a day during your vacation. Our concierge and host are available to help make your dream vacation come true.

Event Tent and Dance Floor - Outfitted with decorative valances and ivory linens, this is not your average event tent. Brocade tiebacks, sheer curtains, and puka shell chandeliers give this outdoor space a grand feel for up to 70 seated dinner guests and dancing partygoers. Set up in the grassy, tropical garden on the main level on a custom wood deck, it is only steps from the infinity pool, bar, living room, and kitchen. Hire a band, or DJ, or bring your iPad/iPod music to have a jungle party.

Spa - The luxury spa is conveniently located right in your private villa. Just walk a few steps to the lower level, and you’ll find this full-service spa surrounded by the jungle, tucked away from the common areas of the home where you can relax to the sounds of the rainforest. The quiet ambiance is perfect for individuals or groups with three fully equipped treatment rooms and the option to create a fourth with sliding screens. Our concierge can arrange for manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, and other full-body treatments for you, couples, or bridal parties.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAY: For last minute reservations within the next 60 days, maid service will only be provided once every other day, more service can be provided for an extra charge of $50 per day (Ask your host to schedule and for details). There is no guest access to laundry facilities at the villa. The chef services will not be included at all, but can also be added by our guests services team. A $500-$600 cash damage security deposit (depending on the size of your group) may be required for very last minute check-ins to cover any damage or missing items. The deposit will be fully refunded at check-out if no items are damaged or missing.
