Ultimately perfect, prepare to have your expectations exceeded. While the island offers beautiful views from each angle, not many places encompass Santorini and its surrounding beauty from one.

The space
Villa Filon (meaning House of Friends)

An open-plan living lounge is built into the beautiful cave-style walls. With a sumptuous corner sofa, surround sound TV & Sano's sound system. A gentle, winding curved staircase guides upwards to a bright & airy dining room and a well-equipped kitchen fitted with every home. A perfect space for entertainment after a day in the sunshine

Four beautifully designed bedrooms allow maximum privacy and space.
Main house - Lounge, Kitchen, Dining room, Main bedroom/bathroom & 2nd Bedroom /bathroom.

The adjacent Courtyard terrace (5 metres from the main house ) has two bedrooms off the central courtyard terrace. Bedroom 3 - 1 x twin room/Bathroom with 2 x three-quarter beds. Bedroom 4 - large Suite, sitting area, king-size bed & bathroom.

Spacious inside and out, an overly generous offering of 5 terraces brings outdoor entertainment to another level for this unique Villa—super luxury hydro-massage Jacuzzi to seat eight persons, Panoramic views, and endless sunsets. Distant caldera views and the Aegean Sea surround them. Every element of this Villa allows for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Incredible large terraces make a wonderfully intimate venue for a small celebration, special interest groups such as yoga, well-being or anyone looking for an abundance of space and tranquillity. (Events on request, additional charge applies )


To Note:
Children: Please note there are a few low walls on the upper exterior terrace (wall height 1 Metre) & also an internal small open plan staircase. Due to the layout, the house is not recommended for toddlers & young children under eight years.

The bedroom layout. Two bedrooms are in the main house, and two are in the courtyard entrance.

Please note that Santorini is a hilly island, including Pyrgos, and older adults or people with walking difficulties may find this location quite challenging.
The Villa is accessed by an uphill path (approximately 100 Metres).

Title: Stunning Villa with Incredible Views!Villa Filon was absolutely amazing! Set in the beautiful Santorini landscape, it offered breathtaking views, total comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere. The villa was spotless, well-equipped, and the perfect place to relax after exploring the island. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Sharron was amazing, she left eggs, milk and yogurt to get us started and helped coordinator transportation. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – highly recommend 5/5

Access to the villa and village is via quite steep paths and steps but this is a small price to pay for the stunning views of the north and west of the island including amazing sunsets.The rooms are spacious and with access to multiple terraces, our group of 7 never felt cramped or confined. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area recommending some great restaurants.

Mountaintop Experience!

This is an absolutely amazing property. We were able to watch the sunset in the west and the moonrise in the east. It was very spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend it!

Awesome experience!

We stayed in Sharron's place for four nights and loved it. It is as picturesque as it gets- just beautiful inside and out. Moreover, Sharron was a terrific host- she was thoughtful to leave plenty of water and yummy snacks for us. And when a sandstorm hit covering the place in orange dirt, she and a maintenance person were there cleaning up most of the day. She gave some helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities as well. She is a gem!

Beautiful Stay!

Sharron went above and beyond to make this the best stay for us! She even brought us waters every morning throughout our stay. She was kind, helpful and had great communication. I highly recommend. We miss the property and Greece already.

Beautiful Greek Cave Home/Villa

Sharron, the owner, provided us with a 5-star experience staying in her beautiful villa. She was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property, and had stocked the fridge with breakfast staples and plenty of water. She was priceless in arranging transportation to and from the airport, had a rental car delivered to the villa and set up a sailing charter for us. We felt like we had our own personal concierge service!! The Villa itself is spacious and beautiful. Such a fun, unique experience for our family. The multiple outdoor patios were so fun and the top deck was our favorite place to watch the sunset every night. You will not regret booking this place! It’s away from the tourist crowds, but still within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, and a beautiful Greek village. We wish we would have had more time to relax at the villa - it was that beautiful. We’ve been blessed to have traveled all over the world and this home was one of the best we’ve ever rented! Thank you Sharron for all you did to make our stay so amazing!

An oasis!!-Highly recommend!!

I would rate this a10 if possible! The host, Sharron, was absolutely fantastic to work with. Had wonderful suggestions on where to eat, what to do. Helped arrange transport, suggestions where to eat, activities. We ended up getting driver for a day to take us around the island and also did sunset sailing cruise which she helped arrange. Both incredible! The property is first class and you can believe the pictures! We had 4 couples so we each had our own room/bathroom and plenty of room to spread out amongst all the decks! Loved our sunset views every evening but sunrise spectacular too! Well stocked and even had supplied breakfast items. Location is great as it is away from all the crowds but close enough to easily get transport into Oia or Fira. Pyrgos had plenty of restaurants , little shops and lovely bakery to go to! We absolutely loved our stay and already talking about going back here!

Fabulous house and host

The house is lovely, and Sharron is a fantastic host. She provides excellent recommendations, arranges transfers, and is available to answer questions whenever they come up. The house is in a great location with a beautiful view. Wonderful spot on Santorini!

Best Santorini Experience

Hidden Gem of the Island. If you want a local experience stay here. Best sunset view on island. Hot tub and terrace for happy hour and sunsets. Sharron stocked the place for us and took care of everything we needed. One of our best trips ever.

Loved Villa Filon and Pyrgos

We loved Villa Filon. It was every bit as good as described online. The view from the Villa is fantastic. Sharron was a fantastic host and every recommendation she gave us was spot on and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Santorini. Pyrgos was a quaint town with lots of great restaurants and friendly people within walking distance.

Private Oasis

We enjoyed the property so much. If you are looking for a spot away from the crowds of tourists with a private feel but still beautiful views and a hot tub to be used even when it's cooler, then don't pass go and make sure to reserve here. We ended up spending the majority of our time in the villa other than a trip to Oia and boat tour, and it felt like a very fulfilled trip!

Awesome villa

Villa Filon is a beautiful home with an outstanding view of the sea and the town of Pyrgos, whose many amazing shops and restaurants are walking distance. Our party of 8 was delighted with every aspect of it, from the large jacuzzi looking out at gorgeous Santorini sunsets to the several delightfully decorated relaxing areas on different levels, the roomy and elegant and comfy bedrooms (including a cave bathroom). We looked down on a mother and baby donkey frolicking in the field and up at the castle just above us where we could get an even higher vantage point. Our host, Sharron, was extremely helpful with all of our questions and needs, including recommendations for a driver and a doctor - and she had the kitchen stocked with everything we needed when we arrived. We were very happy we chose to stay in Pyrgos rather than crowded Oia or Fira. And Villa Filon is a gem!

Rarely does the house look exactly like the pictures, but this one sure did!! This was truly a Mamma Mia experience. And the owner, Sharron was an absolute delight. She even bought some essentials for the fridge so we didn’t have to stop at the store on the way in. Five star all the way!!

Cave House Escape

This property exceeded expectations and trust me they were pretty high to begin with. The property was conveniently designed, had easy to reach multiple levels allowing amazing views of the caldera and cities such as Fira. Sunsets were awesome, rooms comfortable and the location was outstanding if you want to be away from the busy tourist crowds. There were numerous restaurants minutes away by walking and the walk itself was marvelous. Sharron was an incredible host providing us a full fridge for breakfast supplies such as greek yogurt, eggs, juice and bottles of water. She was very flexible with us and very helpful. Beaches and usual tourist attractions like Skaros Rock are pretty close by car and there is a convenient place to park near where you stay. I would 100% return, especially if with a family or group.

Amazing accommodation

My family and I stayed with Sharron after vrbo had to relocate us. It was an amazing experience. Sharron was an amazing host and helped us in so many ways. Water and snacks were already included when we arrived and the housekeeper was so sweet. They made our trip memorable.

Absolutely amazing place and host!

Simply put the pictures do not do this place justice! Amazing views from multiple outdoor levels and seating / lounge areas, great large hot tub, each room with great ensuites, absolutely amazing host in Sharron who was there to greet is and show us the place and provide much valued local information on restaurants, shops and activities. This olace is great for larger groups and has great privacy! Hotel like amenities with daily cleaning and room making! One of our best VRBO stays ever and best host ever - we will come back.

Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful visit to Santorini staying in Sharron’s villa. Everything is exceptionally maintained and comfortably furnished. We had so much space for our family of 8 and especially loved spending time on the many terraces enjoying the spectacular views of the entire island. She helped arrange private sailing charter, airport and port transfer and also left a bottle of wine for our arrival. The villa is in a great location close to the village of Pyrgos; also there is parking close by. Daily housekeeping service was included. I can’t say enough positive things about the villa, the host, and the views.

Unique and Wonderful Santorini

Our stay in Pyrgos was a memory that we (four couples) will have for a lifetime. We stayed three night, explored a few of the neighboring villages, dined out at some yummy restaurants and set sail on guided catamaran excursion, complete with opportunities to swim and a caters lunch. Some of the highlights of the villa are as follows. -Incredibly unique in terms of architecture. -Four privately situated bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. -Breathtaking views -Quiet -Walking distance to town -Sharron, the property manager was fabulous, incredibly responsive and so helpful with all issues and questions. -Very spacious with multiple decks, cozy gathering space, full stocked kitchen (complete with breakfast food). We highly recommend Villa Filon. A special thank you goes out to Sharron, she is the best!!!

Perfect in Pyrgos

We were a group of four couples and we enjoyed our time at the villa and the surrounding village. Villa Filon is perfect for a group to have time all together and for the times you want some privacy. Sharron is an outstanding host. She was helpful in our planning before and during the trip. She is quick to respond to our questions and gives information that you don’t even realize you are going to need. Pyrgos is a wonderful village up on a hill. Quaint restaurants, cafes, tavernas and artisan boutiques are all around the pathways. It is not for those who have trouble climbing steep inclines or stairs.

Family trip

Sharron was an excellent host, giving us a tour of the property, some advice on places to go/things to do as well as meeting us on our last day for questions/help. She was great! And the property was excellent with plenty of room for 8 of us and met or exceeded every expectation. The local village was a favorite! Highly recommend!!

ultimate venue for wedding Party accommodation

Villa Filon was the perfect location for our family to stay for our daughters wedding in Santorini. Each bedroom is very private with their own bathroom. Five .terraces were available for entertainment. The Panoramic views and sunrises/sunsets were spectacular. Sharron, our respectful host, was attentive and easily solved issues we had. The daily staff were pleasant and assisted with our needs giving us their helpful local knowledge. Relaxing in the Jacuzzi or resting on abundant lounge chairs allowed us the perfect wind down for our busy days. If/when we return, Villa Filon will be our certain choice.
