Recientemente remodelado Unidad del segundo piso de 1 habitación + habitación tipo loft, 2 baños. Orientación oeste, hermosas vistas de los atardeceres de Hawai, observación de ballenas desde su Lanai (en temporada). Las camas gemelas en la habitación inferior, se pueden convertir en un rey bajo petición. Cama Queen en el dormitorio Loft. ¡Nada con las tortugas con el océano a solo unos pasos!

Great location and stunning view

We love the condo. You can sit on the line and see the sea turtles swimming out in the bay. The tiki torches at night had a great ambience.

We had a large group of family members (16) who every night sat on the grass area and watched the sunset together. It was so peaceful and pleasant. Our only knock was the general condition of the unit we stayed in compared to the other three units our family members stayed in.

Lovely location

Great low key stay with beautiful view. The space worked well for our family with the teens in the bedroom with the two twin beds and us in the loft. Cove access is on the property and requires navigating over smooth stones. We saw many turtles during our stay.

Stunning location

We loved our stay. The snorkeling was so easy and felt so safe within the cove. in addition to turtles, fish and eels, I saw my first octopus! I can't recommend this property enough! Property is well maintained with a gorgeous garden. Many plants are labeled! Their commitment to the environment is real. They installed a filtered water station and 85% solar energy! Staff were so kind and helpful!

Cove amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the cove and it’s the only place we stay on Maui. This specific unit is not one we would rent again. We had 2 separate units this trip and 216 was not our favorite. Although we understand that some units (most actually) have no AC this one was rough with direct sunlight and little winds. One of the fans provided didn’t work. This unit could also use some updating and was not very well equipped. It’s the first unit we have stayed in at the cove that had no beach equipment of any kind, no chairs ...nothing. We would not rent this unit again but will always stay at the cove.

It’s not a loud party place so if that’s what your looking for this might not be for you. The location was superb for walk out snorkeling and the bay was rich in marine life. We came in Sept last year as well as May 2022 and booked our next trip on the spot! Its the perfect place for relaxation with turtles and so many fish varieties every time you step into the cove. The property gardens are immaculate, management caring and attentive and our apartment was well equipped. Only thing missing was AC so the place was a little hot late afternoon, but its easy to air and fans are available.

The cove provided a surf free area where all forms of sea life live and is easy to reach. The condo was clean and comfortable. As they say there is no air conditioning, which under normal circumstances would be fine. We just happened to arrive on the day that heat was breaking all records, but with fans we were able to do ok. (the good part is that it got the teenagers out of the room and off their electronics. They discovered the sea life and we had them. It was a wonderful vacation for all. The Cove was located in a more residential area and one got the true feel of life in Hawaii. There were a few repairs that needed to be done and reported to the management. Nothing major.

Honokeana Cove is an absolute gem (Unit 216 is a bit tired)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Honokeana Cove and have been doing so for many years, and hope to continue to do so for many more years. Simply put this is one of our happy places, and we have recommended it to many others who have visited the Cove. Love the turtles, Napili beach, and the nearby amenities. Having said that, and please know that this is meant as constructive feedback only, and is not a complaint. We found that unit 206 was not up to the standard that we have enjoyed when we have visited in the past (sorry!). More specifically:- The condo needs an update, particularly in the bathrooms, the carpets and the front room furniture. We were a bit shocked when we first entered the condo.- The noise from the road, and more particularly from the garbage bins, throughout the condo – and seriously in the back bedroom – prevented sleep. And let’s be frank – we come to Honokeana to get rested.- The cutlery and dishware are underwhelming. This is just a slight annoyance, but when there are only four coffee cups, a half dozen forks, and only one plastic cup that can be taken down to the chairs by the ocean, it makes the constant need to do dishes or run the dishwasher, when there are four people staying in the condo, to be an inconvenience.- The beds in the back bedroom are short- there needs to be hooks or a drying rack on the balcony. You can see that there used to be one there, but it is long gone.- maybe swop out the tub for two nice showers in the unitThanks again. We will be back, just maybe not to unit 216.

2021: Mid-November Stay in Unit #216

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Honokeana Cove Condos several times over the last 20 years and have been pleased with our units and the lovely grounds. However, Unit #216, was in much need of upgrades. The owner may or may not be aware so I’ve included a list: Although it has a lovely view and the upstairs loft & bath was nice, the downstairs needs improvements. The bedroom furniture was outdated and worn, the bathroom’s curtain rod was rusty and half of the bathtub grips were missing. The kitchen’s waste basket (under sink) was cracked/broken and the entry rug was nothing more than a carpet remnant. There was a chipped water glass & dinner plate. A spatula would have been nice. Also, the plywood floor was exposed from a loose piece of carpet between the kitchen/living room. The lanai’s cushions s/b replaced, one was missing and some of the plastic straps were ripped. We did like the new sliding glass door but the screen door needed sticker magnets for safety like many other units. I would not recommend this unit until improvements were made. Thank you.
