This gorgeous home in Manzanita boasts a private hot tub, is dog-friendly, in a quiet location, and is the perfect place to spend a beach getaway with your loved ones. With a particularly welcoming interior with plenty of entertainment options, everyone will love it here.

Perched about two blocks north of Nehalem Bay, this home is midway between the towns of Manzanita and Nehalem. Within a short drive you can access several restaurants and stores, as well as the beautiful coastline near Manzanita. And, with Seaside just 30 minutes north and Tillamook 40 minutes south, you can easily explore the rest of the Northern Coast if you feel like leaving laid-back and friendly Manzanita.

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is well equipped to host up to eight guests, and you're even welcome to bring two dogs with you (though please note that an additional fee will apply). Inside is a cozy interior with an open living area with plenty of seating and a TV set up with cable, Blu-ray/DVD players, and Netflix connectivity.

A full kitchen has ample space and all the appliances and tools that the cook in your group may need. This home also has a shared bathroom accessible from the hallway, as well as a laundry area. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an attached full bathroom, the second room features another queen bed, and the final room has a twin-over-full bunk with an additional full-size trundle bed.

All in all, up to eight guests will have cozy places to sleep here. Outside, you will find a patio with a gas grill, and - best of all - a private hot tub! The home backs up to a green space that will soon be converted into a bayfront park.

With plenty of space, a quiet atmosphere, and plenty of entertainment options, this home would be great for a large family, two smaller families, or a group of close friends. The beach can be accessed via a quick drive to Manzanita, and elsewhere around the Northern Coast are plenty of gorgeous natural areas as well as charming beachfront cities to explore.

Manzanita Gem!

We loved the layout of this home. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! It wasn't really walking distance to the beach, but a very short drive to downtown. This was a convenient location to be away from the crowds, but close to the attractions. We really enjoyed the hot tub, as well. Great find!

Well lit and nicely laid out, but could use some improvements

I stayed here with several friends and a couple dogs for two nights. The location is great, in a very quiet neighborhood just a couple minutes from Manzanita and within walking distance to access the Nehalem Bay. The house itself is really nice, with lots of natural light and a good flow and layout. We loved how spacious it felt. Garage access with a code was super convenient. The hottub worked perfectly and was great, as was the well stocked kitchen and the comfortable beds. However, the house wasn't as clean as it should have been. Walking barefoot on the wood floors created a black residue on our feet, and there was gunk in between the couch cushions. Also, there are a few things that could use updating. The grill is pretty old and rusted and hard to start, and only half of it really works. The speaker system only connects to an iPod, which should be specified as I don't know anyone who has an iPod anymore and there was no adapter to use for an iPhone, so we went without music. A substantial chunk of consecutive slats supporting the top bunk of the bunk beds was completely missing, luckily discovered before someone slept in it (we ended up putting the mattress on the floor). Lastly, I think it should be specified that the fenced portion of the yard isn't accessible from an interior door, so anytime we wanted to give our dogs access to the yard, we had to walk them outside and around the side of the house to put them in a small fenced strip. It's a little inconvenient to dog owners who are accustomed to just opening the door for their dogs to go outside/inside at will and to be able to monitor their activities. Overall, the house was nice, but could be cleaner and given just a couple updates that would really elevate the experience.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see there were some disappointments with this visit. We are working with housekeeping to accomplish a more thorough cleaning, and we were able to repair the bunk bed slats. The speakers for the home do have an aux input. Thank you!
