Great for the price!

Right across street from beach. The place is smaller than I realized (literally just bed and bathroom) but it worked just fine for our purposes. The kitchen sink didn't seem to work but everything else was great. Would stay here again!

Avoid this place

  • 1 of 5

This place is not easy to see. Called for direction and was led to a completely different part of the city, which was wrong. Went back to where I was and eventually found it. Unfortunately, there was no Internet, so we had no way to access the gate code until the next day.

The room was not ready when we arrived. Came three hours later, and the room was dirty. Stuff embedded in the carpet and the bed smelled. It was a dark hole of a room and tiny.

There was NOTHING to cook on, not even a hot plate. They did have a crock pot and coffee maker. I'd hardly call that a kitchenette. There were no small spoons and nothing to wash the plates with.

Our window looked out to the side of the building (no view, just a stucco wall) and because it is a walkway, we couldn't leave the window open or the shades up.

Writing this review is depressing ... Don't waste your money here.

There is one thing that was great. There is a Mexican restaurant in the little strip center. It smells a little old, but wow, the food was amazing and very reasonably priced.

It worked in a Pinch

  • 2 of 5

VERY SMALL !! Literally a Bedroom with simple kitchen ( microwave and under counter Frig) So DON'T plan on doing any cooking. Bathroom was a very nice size. The place was clean. Very confusing to find. No mention of a Gate and code that was needed to get in. Luckily we ran into someone staying there that noticed we looked confused and they gave us gate code. Not in a very clean or nice part of town. But it worked for a last minute plan. Worth paying $99 a night max. not a penny more !!!!
