About Vacasa, FL - Emerald Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

It's cheap.

  • 2 of 5

It's cheap, super close to the beach, air conditioned and the Korean lady at the outdoor bar was awesome. It was fine for a weekend trip, but I would hate to stay in this room any longer than that.

Ok place to stay

  • 3 of 5

This was an ok place. It's right on the beach and was fairly clean. Shower curtain had mildew and top bedding wasn't clean. Trash can outside our room stayed full to the point of trash being placed on the ground around it. Refrigerator needs replacing. Plastic plants inside the room need a thorough cleaning. Rugs need replacing. Edges were frayed and we kept tripping over it.

Owner's Response: We appreciate this guest communicating some areas of the unit that need to be addressed. The property manager has replaced the shower curtain and top bedding. The HOA was notified of the trash overflowing, since they manage the common areas. The issue with the plants and rug has been forwarded to the housekeepers and will be addressed immediately. Thank you.

It was OK. Not great

  • 2 of 5

The room was very outdated. Pillows were flat and cheap. The quilt/coverlet was dirty and very old. Didn't look like it had been washed in a while. The sheets were clean and smelled fresh though. The plastic shower curtain liner was mildewed and black mold on it and the refrigerator was old and looked like the rust stains had been painted over. But it was clean inside and didn't smell. The decorative plastic plants had about an 1 inch of dust on the leaves. However, the room smelled nice and was generally clean otherwise. The rugs on the floor were old and the edges were turned up so my husband and I kept tripping over them. There were no bugs and it was in a great area on the beach. I really liked that the floor was tiled and it was clean. As we were finishing packing to leave, a couple came into the room on us before standard check in time 4pm (we left at 11:00am). So that let me know that the room probably wasn't going to be cleaned again between rentals. Since I'm a clean person, I cleaned up the room as best as I could. Someone had left spare blind slats on the floor in what I guess is a storage area/closet/cubby space that has what I thought was a twin bed in it, but a sign posted on the wall said it wasn't a bed but it should only be used for suitcases. I would stay here again but only if they updated the room a little and changed out the shower curtain liner and cleaned the bed covers.

Dirty and run down.

  • 2 of 5

The condo itself left a lot to be desired and was not very impressive. It was not as nice as the pictures showed. The toilet, blow dryer, and blinds were broken. The shower curtain and ceiling were dusty and moldy. The beds were hard as rocks. The staff and property manager were great! The pool and immediate beach access was spectacular.

Great Stay!

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a great room for the price, was right by everything (some locations were even walking distance!), the resort was on the beach. Overall, this location was amazing, secure, and I will definitely be back during future vacations.
