***Announcing new additions to Whispering Canyon***

-Brand new hot tub purchased June 2017!

-Cozy new furniture in the upstairs living room!

-New flatscreen TVs with full cable in all bedrooms!

Enjoy peace and quiet at Whispering Canyon, a semi-secluded log cabin situated on over 1.7 acres, including a private walking trail, with a mountain view. This spacious cabin has four bedrooms each with private bathroom and large living rooms on both floors.

The upper level has a living room with comfortable leather sofas and recliners for ten guests to enjoy a warm fire or watch your favorite show on a 50-inch TV. The dining room overlooks the surrounding area through a wall of windows and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances is perfect for cooking family reunion meals or light snacks. Enjoy morning coffee or a late night bite at a cozy breakfast table. The two bedrooms upstairs feature one king and two queen beds, well appointed furnishings, TV’s, and closets. Vaulted ceilings give a spacious feel and double sliding glass doors provide easy access to the large wrap around deck.

A second family can stay downstairs in two large bedrooms, with a king and two queen sized beds, private baths, and closets. The lower floor has a living room filled with fun activities and has a fifth bathroom. Watch football on a 50-inch TV, play on the 60 game arcade or bring your favorite movie and enjoy it with a surround sound system. For a more challenging time, play a game of billiards and there are plenty of board games and puzzles for keeping the gang occupied on a rainy day. Or just relax as you enjoy a second fireplace.

This two level arrangement makes a perfect combination for giving multiple families lots of space and privacy. If you enjoy being outdoors away from neighbors, this cabin is home. Have a morning coffee or evening glass of wine out on the upper or lower wrap-around deck or just relax in one of the many rocking chairs. There are even some smaller sized chairs for children to enjoy a snack. Cook steaks or burgers on the charcoal barbeque and eat outside. Whispering Canyon sits on over 1.7 acres, so after an afternoon hike on the property’s small nature trail, relax in the hot tub for eight guests. It's perfect for melting away the stresses of life!

About Whitney Howard

Whitney Howard and Christine Randles are the co-owners of Whispering Canyon cabin as well as best friends. They have been traveling to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area since they were kids and have always loved the area. In 2015, they decided to make their dreams come true and bought this beautiful cabin that they can bring their families to and that will allow them to share their love of the area with other families.

Why Whitney Howard chose Sevierville

Top 5 reasons why we LOVE Whispering Canyon:

5.) There are no scary, winding mountain roads to try your luck at. Whispering Canyon sits off of a one-way road that gently slopes up to the cabin and back down to the main road.

4.) It is private enough that you don't have to worry about disturbing or being disturbed by your neighbors (you can hardly see other cabins through the trees), yet it's close enough to other cabins to still feel safe.

3.) It is so spacious! Up to 12 people can sleep in beds with 5 full bathrooms to share. The common areas and decks on both levels have so much room to spread out and relax while still being jam-packed with fun activities for the whole family.

2.) Location, location, location! When staying at Whispering Canyon, you never have to get into the crazy traffic on the Parkway unless you just want to cruise up and down looking for something fun to do. We can provide you with detailed directions (or you can just use your GPS) for how to take backroads to avoid traffic.

1.) It truly feels like a home away from home.

We have stayed in many cabins in the area over the years. Many have had cheaply built walls and floors where you can hear a whisper in the next room, many have been in cluttered cabin neighborhoods where your neighbor can literally see right into your cabin from theirs, and many have been in areas where heavy traffic is unavoidable. Whispering Canyon has NONE of these attributes. We truly love this cabin, and we cannot wait to share it with you!

bueatful place and comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5

We are members (12 people) of a social bridge club, came t have a break at the Great Smoky Mountain area in early November 2017. Stayed at Whispering Canyon 4-days / 3 nights. Admiring the scenery during the day and playing bridge games at evenings. All of us had great time here.

25th Wedding Anniversary trip

  • 5 of 5

Everything you could possibly ask for and more! Great 2 story living room looking out over the valley to the mountains. Very secluded and peaceful walked laps around the wrap around deck taking it all in. The downstairs entertainment area had 2 additional bedrooms with a fireplace, tv and stereo system and a good pool table with a pac man, donkey kong all in one machine that brought back memories to being kids and a hot tub right out the door on the deck. Found ourselves shooting pool and hot tubbing until the early morning and didnt even realize how late it was. My wife now thinks it is a good idea for us to have a pool table at home. The master bedroom was perfect and comfortable. Perfect home for one couple or 4. Only a few miles to town thru the arts and craft district. A must stop for some neat shops. If your there over the weekend stop at Three Jimmy's Restaurant for Live music and music trivia on Friday nights went for dinner and stayed for hours! No doubt we will be back soon!!! Perfect week for our anniversary trip just wish the leaves had been turning. Who would think heading into the last week of October everything was still green. Don't believe anything you here about the area being destroyed by fire, you have to go looking for it to find any. Grab groceries and hit the liquor store on your way in and stay in is just as much fun as driving all around. Perfect location you can find back roads to all the point of interest and shopping and not get caught in traffic the back roads are fun to explore and tough to get lost.

Great family location

  • 5 of 5

This house is wonderful for large families with bathroom available for everyone. We all loved the quiet location being in all of the action in Gatlinburg or Oigeon Forge. We had a great time there and would not hesitate to rent this house for another annual family vacation! Whitney is also available and responds immediately if you have any needs.
