With an on-site manager and 24-hour security at the entrance, your safety and convenience are ensured. Housekeeping is included three times a week, and you can even request chef services for lunch, and dinner, or opt for a food stocked service at an additional cost.

The breathtaking "Penthouse" boasts four bedrooms with an astonishing 180° view of the Caribbean sea and the beach. Its circular glass front wall showcases the mesmerizing scenery. The house shares common areas, but the exclusive and secluded beach in front guarantees privacy and relaxation, accessible only to the residents.
During the summer season, you can enjoy the wonderful experience of the deposition of marine turtles' eggs right in front of Casa Chanty an unforgettable experience.

The spacious open space of the Penthouse features sliding doors leading to a terrace where you can revel in the breathtaking views. The fully-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. In the living room, you'll find a plasma TV with satellite channels and comfortable sofas.

The villa accommodates up to nine guests across the well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and a balcony, while the other rooms offer various bed configurations. A crib and high chair are available upon request. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. There are three full bathrooms with large showers, each offering an ocean view. Additionally, a washer and dryer machine is provided for your convenience.

The pool at the front of the villa is the perfect spot to relax while admiring the ocean. Although shared with the ground floor unit, the atmosphere remains discreet and tranquil, allowing you to enjoy the peace and beauty of the deserted beach.

For an extraordinary culinary experience, Chef Beto is available upon request at an extra charge. Offering daily lunch and dinner services, Chef Beto prepares exquisite dishes that guests highly appreciate. Various packages are available based on the number of people, ensuring a fair price the welcome dinner it cost $35usd per person include food (not drinks) Please note .minimum per 4 persons.

Great location and great view

We had a wonderful week at Casa Chanty. The view and location were great. Two families with 5 kids stayed in the penthouse and the space was perfect. I highly recommend it. Thank you to Alberto and Damien for all the help.

Wonderful week at Casa Chanty

The penthouse was excellent. The views are better than advertised. The staff were great, attentive, but did not interrupt privacy. Beach was amazing and plenty of space for everyone on property. Very low key and private. We will definitely be back!

we were in playa del secreto for a wedding a few houses down the beach. our stay in the penthouse could not have been better. amazing view, great outdoor space, awesome little pool i didnt think we would use but we did, A LOT! its the widest and sandiest spot in playa del secreto, so thats great too. also great not having a neighbor directly to the north or the south (very private)

Overall we were underwhelmed by our stay at casa chanty. First off the beach/water look nothing like the photos taken if you visit in October. The water is murky(not at all the emerald green in the pics) and the beach was covered in black seaweed. To find a nice beach we had to travel up to playa delphines in Cancun. They ask you to turn the ac off if you leave for the day but even the days we stayed in the main part of the house never got cool. Some days were worse than others but none would I call it a comfortable temp in the main house. The bedrooms thankfully did stay cool. That leads me to the next issue, the bedroom (sliding) doors didn’t have locks! This might not be an issue for all but as parents traveling with kids and extended family members we wanted to have a little privacy. The last thing I’ll say about the penthouse is rhey advertised washer and dryer but they are one and the same machine and the dryer took 4 hours to dry one small load of laundry. This is not ideal for a 4 bedroom house since you’d expect a lot of laundry to be done. We also spilt our time downstairs in the sun suite and overall I think I liked it better, it had door locks and the ac got the rooms comfortable. I am thankful we only had people upstairs one night of our trip because you could hear every foot step, chair moving, and even them talking. Also there was no dryer at all down there. Yet still I’d take the bottom part of the house over the top any day

Dear Courtney, thank you for your review and I’m very sorry your experience did not fully meet your expectations. as you know a strong hurricane hit Jamaica and part of Cuba. After such an event it is normal that the sea becomes murkier and more seaweed appears on the beach. The Caribbean is affected by hurricanes and tropical storms from August to late November, so conditions can sometimes differ from the photos, which are not edited and show how the sea normally looks, and how it looks again now. Regarding the washer/dryer, it is a modern combo machine designed mainly for light summer clothes; if it is filled with heavy towels it naturally takes longer, which is why we also provide outdoor lines and a drying rack. The temporary A/C issues were caused by work on the main electrical transformers in Playa del Carmen, so the area was running on reduced power and we even had to use a generator for a day; unfortunately this was beyond our control. Finally, the bedroom sliding doors do have locks: you simply turn the knob to engage the latch. We have been renting in Playa del Secreto for 30 years and very rarely receive similar complaints, but your feedback gives us the chance to explain these circumstances to future guests. Paradise Plus

Overall we loved it. Situated right on a gorgeous white sand beach - no need for any water shoes. The water was beautifully clear and warm, but still refreshing and a much needed reprieve from the Mexican heat. It is quite windy there making it almost impossible to play card games outside unless we wanted to play nothing but '52 pickup' - lol. However the wind had a lovely cooling effect. As far as privacy goes there were other people on the beach, but nothing compared to the resort areas; we enjoyed a lot of privacy. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was there was nothing close by you could walk to such as shops or restaurants and bars. In order to get to any of those you need transportation. The good news is that it isn't a far drive to Puerto Morales or Playa Del Carmen. Regarding Casa Chanty it had everything we needed as well as unmatched ocean views - day and night. We found it to be quite wonderful, especially the service we received from Alberto and Damian. They looked after all our needs promptly and very satisfactorily. One more thing...Chef Beto is a must!! He is very friendly, provides excellent food, service and is reasonably priced.

Beautiful location

I truly loved this location. We wanted a quite area away from crowds and we got it. Very few beach walkers and no venders. Alberto was present and showed us up to our unit. We were on the top unit. There is a unit below us as well as a studio down the driveway. The unit was very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well-appointed. They had a water dispenser with large jugs and replaced as needed. Plenty of lounging furniture. The balcony had a table with 4 chairs. I would worn those with children that the spiral staircase to the second floor loft may be a hazard. For adults you must be careful when reaching the top...there are 2 beams you must go under and it's very easy to bump your head. Doable but you must be careful. I don't think there is a remedy due to the design of the unit but just be aware of those that will be sleeping in that area. There was a paddle board and two kayaks to use as well as several water toys for children and adults. We didn't use the pool due to the weather but it was kept very clean. The outdoor shower and hose was great to rinse off with. We had a housekeeper come three times for the week and he did a great job including doing the dishes. We had Chef Beto come in twice. I highly recommend having the welcome dinner. We were tired of travel and it was perfect. Very devious and plentiful! We had leftovers for days! Christina was very prompt with her responses and very accommodating. She truly wanted to please us!

Amazing family vacation, wonderful owners and staff

I was worried about staying off a resort in a private home internationally. I could not be more thankful for Cristina and Alberto. I was guided through the rental process by the owner and she helped make other arrangements for me also. Alberto and the other staff were amazing. The house and grounds were cleaned daily. Alberto helped us several times with groceries, transportation, etc... The house is amazing. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I am happy to say they have an oven now in the penthouse. We had 9 people who had plenty of room. We were close to our adventure excursions while being tucked away in this neighborhood. The property is located between resorts so there is ample security surrounding the neighborhood and a guard for the homes. My family always felt safe and had no problems during our stay. You will not find a better price for the house we were privileged to stay in. The location is amazing for trips to Puerto Morales and Playa Del Carmen. We will be back. I must add. Many people judge beach houses harshly. Yes there are a few issues with a drawer here and there. There may be a hole in a screen. BUT, any issue we had was immediately fixed by Alberto. I mean instantly. The other issues are typical for a place on the beach. Things are damp, sand gets on the floor, you may have some insects due to the jungle location. Be reasonable in your expectations. This is not a resort. That said, I would not hesitate to rent again.

Beautiful Property (with minor surprises)

This is a beautifully situated, private, and secluded casa. The entire Playa del Secreto community is secured by a guarded entrance and safely well off the main road. The beach is clean white sand with picturesque turquoise water that one can swim, boogie board or kayak. The beach is safe, private and limited to residents only - and without vendors. The penthouse suite is well situated high above the beach with stunning views through floor-to-ceiling windows or off the patio. There is a separate barbecue common table area that is well lit and available for use as well. While the listing alludes to a pool and beach area associated with the house, neighboring Playa del Secreto properties also utilize Casa Chanty for beach access and pool use. The pool area was not particularly inviting with toys and children’s items strewn about and pool is not heated which overall was not an issue as the ocean water is not cold. The penthouse itself is clearly well-designed although downstairs neighbors can be heard clearly in the morning and evening hours. The sea air is obviously hard on anything but loosening floor tiles, corroded door hardware and the like were also not anticipated. A very well-designed kitchen has also seen better days with cupboards loosening creating noise when operating. The upstairs bedroom area is accessed via a spiral staircase that upon reaching the top, a structural cross-beam greets you straight in the head ensuring that the upstairs beds are utilized solely by little ones. Overall, our experience could be summed up as good to nearly great – Alberto, Damien & Tony were great and made our visit wonderful. However, just due to the aforementioned surprises, would love to have given this site 4.5 or 4.75 stars as the surprises were not insurmountable and the location more than made up for these. It was just the expectation of something truly more that left us feeling not underwhelmed but also not overwhelmed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to this beautiful Review I am very grateful to you, I read the positive things and I also took note of the negative things for which of course I wanted to postpone that unfortunately the metal parts in a beachfront house quickly oxidize and must be replaced every 4/5 months because unfortunately salt ruins everything, ... including TV, fridges, conditioned air and many other things. As for the pool of Casa Chanty must be used only by people staying in Casa Chanty I can not understand who may have used it was probably a mistake made by some confused customer who thought it was a beach club which is not .....I reported this fact to Alberto I probably repeat it was some customer who thought he could use the pool this usually never happens instead for toys if there are families with children it can happen. I'm glad, however, that overall you liked the house and the location , the security service, the beach and also the assistance from our staff for us all this is very important and we thank you very much goodbye Cristina

Better than all-inclusive resort!

My hubby and I stayed at Palafitos over the water bungalows in Cancun in April. And while beautiful, we’d pick Casa Chanty over ANY resort. First, the location and the privacy is perfect. Far enough away from Cancun to get away from the tourist traps but a quick drive if you want to hit Cancun at any time. Second, the penthouse made us feel at home. The layout, the gathering spaces, and the incredible view led our group to gather together to just soak up the atmosphere and each other. Third, Cristina, Alberto, and Beto were all WONDERFUL communicators. I knew exactly what to expect, where to go, and who to contact with questions. They were all fantastic. PLUS, Alberto’s 3 dogs were a little piece of home when we were missing our own fur babies! They were a welcome addition to our group! Fourth - location, location, location! Rent a car and go do and see all that the area has to offer. We did. Best adventure and memories we’ve had in a long time. Puerto Morales is 10 minutes away and the restaurants and open air bars along the beach are all fantastic. PLUS, you can find all the popular tours and activities right there on the beach!! And for about 1/4 of the cost elsewhere. So give back to the locals in TIPS! Be generous because it’s the right thing to do. Fifth - all of the bedrooms have A/C and the rooms get COLD. One of the rooms has blacked out windows to reduce the heat in that room. We could have slept for DAYS in there. Except we didn’t want to miss one minute of daylight!! There is an A/C in the living room, but don’t use it! Just open the doors and TA-DA . . . Cool air blowing through the entire living area. Last, but not least - CHEF BETO. He absolutely made our vacation head and shoulders above the bungalow resort stay. EVERY. SINGLE. MEAL. We are a group of foodies. We love all kinds of food from all over the world. Beto’s creations were some of the best food we’ve ever tasted. We checked in LATE at night- around 10:30pm. We asked Beto for a welcome dinner and expected our late arrival to have ruined it. NOPE! He had everything waiting in a perfectly warm oven and ready to uncover and devour. AND WE DID! Next day, he made us breakfast and from then on, we asked if he would make us dinner every night. We had Tuna skewers, Ceviche, carnitas, wings, mole, key lime pie, flan, and so much more. Every bite was amazing. And he stocked our fridge with all the items on our list. We were absolutely in Heaven. Will be back!!

First trip since lockdown

We had an amazing trip and having a home to enjoy games and music. The chef that came did an amazing job. The on-site assistance was very helpful. The concierge service for activities was so helpful. Casa Chanty

Positives : Great beach location with wonderful views day and night Spacious penthouse suite for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids Practical layout with awesome views from open concept kitchen and lounge areas Fully functional kitchen with all appliances - older but functional One air conditioner was faulty but replaced within a few days Half hour drive to either Playa del Carmen or Cancun 15 minute drive to Puerto Morelos for supermarkets etc Negatives : No amenities within walking distance Poor quality linen, mattresses and towels but sufficient quantities for our group Dated decor and mismatched utensils Intermittent problems with water supply which was frustrating but fortunately caretaker was on site and available to deal with it each time Sharp edged tiles inside pool and kids had a few minor cuts Overall the beach and the view is great but the home was underwhelming compared to other places we have rented in the same price category.

"Top drawer "accomodations that can not be beat.

A very special place in Mexico. The view from the penthouse is exquisite. Spectacular location and expansive views of private beach and ocean. Accommodations were wonderful with enough room for our total family of nine including children. Especially nice to have the kitchen table comfortable for all of us. And nice to have bathrooms for all 3 individual families. Highly recommended

Beautiful views

Everything was very well we really enjoyed the beach! Only thing I did not like was no long curtains in the 2 restrooms, and living room air conditioning was very small and did not feel fresh for the size of living area and upstairs.

Great stay at Casa Chanty

Casa Chanty was the perfect place to spend a family vacation. The beach is beautiful and the house had everything we needed. Alberto was always there when we needed him and he was extremely helpful with everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home on a Lovely Beach

best family vacation ever

There was 9 of us 4 adults and 5 kids ages 12-16, 2 families and we rented the penthouse for 1 week. This is our last morning and as we pack up we are saying how much we have enjoyed our stay here..Alberto and Damien have been amazing and have gone beyond the call of duty to make our stay enjoyable. We have taken the bus into Porta Morales and Playa Del Carmen. We found this to be very easy and the locals were more than willing to point us in the right direction. I should also say this was our first experience with a rental and we will be sure to do it again.

Wonderful experience !!!

Cristina, I'm sorry it has taken so long to write this to you but we have been so busy with the Holidays and work not to mention fighting off bad colds. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home in Playa del Secreto! The pictures on your web site do not even come close to the amazing vistas and atmosphere we experienced. The white sand beach, the carribean colors of the water were so relaxing and your house was perfect for all of us. it was a wonderful vacation. We are thinking of planning our next trip to stay again at Casa Chanty so we can see them in December when they come to visit so we have more time with your friends. Thank you again!
