This is a beautiful cabin in the mountains with the most incredible view! Inside was lovely, clean with all the things you need. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for a getaway in the mountains of North Carolina.

This cabin is so cute and cozy!! There is so much space inside and outside. The hot tub was so nice and easy to use. Plenty of seating outside with an amazing view! I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!!

We were so happy to return to Heaven in the Hills this year for our annual girls trip. The views are unbeatable and we had wonderful weather to soak up as much time as possible on the deck. The hot tub, fire pit and all the amenities make for a perfect mountain getaway.

Lovely property. Owner was very responsive. The downstairs does need some updating, but the million dollar view made up for it. Honestly, the most gorgeous mountain view I've ever seen. We enjoyed the (very clean) hot tub. Thank you!

Amazing Stay with Stunning Views and Relaxing Vibes

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Deep Gap! The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking. The decor and amenities were top-notch, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable and cozy.Standout moments were relaxing in the hot tub and watching deer grazing right in front of the cabin—such a peaceful, unforgettable experience. We also loved spending time at the clubhouse, enjoying the game room, pool, and paddleboats on the lake. It added so much fun to our trip!This place is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others!

Very nice home and very clean. Home has everything you need for a perfect stay! Beautiful views from the back porch. The closest store is about 25 mins from the house so get what you need before you make the trip up the mountain. It’s worth the drive once you get there.

Relaxing

The cabin has everything you need (except food) for a relaxing stay. The view is awesome, the bird feeder was active. It is a little drive to the stores, just plan. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance. Very nice clubhouse.

Every Detail!

The cabin and view was beautiful and amazing! Every detail was covered! The house had everything we needed, all the way down to some spare birthday candles (we celebrated my 3 year old's birthday while there). The firepit was already loaded with plenty of propane as well. The whole house was stocked with everything we needed and I really appreciate that!

Heaven in the Hills

Cabin is well stocked, clean, comfortable and perfect.Can't put into words the amazing view from deck. A must get away from everyday life. This community is friendly and helpful, the walking/hiking trails on Powderhorn mountain are a great way to reconnect with nature. Choose easy, moderate to challenging trails.

Great mountain house for the family!

Our family had the best time staying at this mountain house! The layout was great for our two boys! It was very peaceful gated community with a wonderful, hot tub and clubhouse where we spent time playing foosball pool and ping-pong. We will definitely be back.

Hot tub heaven

This is a beautiful cabin, and we really enjoyed our time here. My kids loved the hottub, my mom loved the stencils on the walls, and I enjoyed the wonderful view. This cabin has everything you need and is relatively easy to get to. We will be back!

Amazing view

This was our first getaway is over a year and this place did not disappoint. The views from the deck were amazing. The hot tub was perfect and relaxing during those cold but sunny days. The home is beautiful and has everything that you need. We even enjoyed a few inches of Snow during the last day of our stay. Thank you for making our stay just what we needed. We will be back.

My name is Terry and my husband, Jeff and I live in Wilmington, NC. I grew up in upstate New York but moved to Raleigh and then to Wilmington when I was younger. We first went to Powder Horn Mountain when our kids were about 7 and 10 and had the best family vacation we have ever had. We loved getting out in the woods, hikng, fishing, animal watching and just getting back to pure family time. We returned every summer and then had the opportunity to buy a lot and build our own dream cabin. How lucky and blessed we are!
We have tried to make this cabin a cozy retreat for all who come to find peace and re-connect with nature and your loved ones.
