My husband and I booked this lovely apartment for our first trip to Paris, specifically due to the fact that we would need help with the language. Also, the location was charming, with many local amenities and close to Notre Dame Cathedral. And since we were traveling in August, the fact that this was air conditioned was a plus. From beginning to end we had a lovely time in this beautiful apartment. Prior to our stay both Jim, the owner, and Marc the concierge were extremely helpful in making our stay perfect. We highly recommend that you avail yourself of the driver service from the airport. This service worked out perfectly for us from and to the airport. Upon our arrival Mathius, the additional concierge, met us with the keys outside the large wooden door entry to the building. The apartment is on the Rue St. Paul in the Village of St. Paul. The Marais is a beautiful and safe area of Paris. Mathius led us through a narrow but charming brick and stone walkway to an inner courtyard to the entry of the stairway to the apartment. The apartment is as shown in the photos, very clean and well done with lovely antique furniture. The bed and bedding were both clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bath was clean and efficient. Hot water perfect! We enjoyed walking to the Miss Manon bakery and the Monoprix grocery for coffee and croissants each morning during our three day stay. During our stay, although we did a lot of wonderful walking, when needed, we used Uber too, which worked like a charm. We would like to sincerely thank Jim Braude for calling us ahead of our trip and Mathius who was very informative, polite and such a huge help to us during our short stay in Paris. And he spoke perfect English. (We then went on to Brittany to visit friends). Thank you again Mathius and Jim for your attention to detail and gracious hospitality.
