Location, location, location! This house couldn't have been in a better spot! We were there for an event at the convention center which was within walking distance. Groceries, 5 min drive. The best was the restaurants within walking distance. The kids had a blast with all the outdoor games, all of our rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable and our host was excellent! Highly recommend this property!

This was the perfect place for a multiple day trip. I personally appreciated that there was a charcoal and propane grill but everyone else in my group had other things they preferred (pool table, outside sitting area, outside garden)

My family was here for my son's wedding. Although we did not have children with us, it is a very family friendly home. We appreciated all the TVs for Sunday football. There were ten adults, and at no time did we feel cramped. There was plenty of space to spread out, if desired. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I cannot say enough about our host. Brandon was very accommodating and even brought us a new Keurig within an hour of calling him on our first day. I would recommend the Emmerson House without reservation.

Less than five minutes from the oceanfront and boardwalk, as well as shops, dining and activities (fun park is on 16th street), this property is at the heart of the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

What makes this property unique

Beach cruisers are fun for the entire family! The Virginia Beach boardwalk is the best place to "cruise" which makes the bicycle collection a must have. We have two arcade games, lawn games and beach toys for the whole family to enjoy. Large front yard, patio and two grills is the perfect setting to gather the family and enjoy the salty air.
