Great view of the bay. The kitchen was really good and well supplied with everything you would need and more. The dinning table looks out to the ocean. A nice size outside deck with table and umbrella, and bbq.

The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The deck had great views of Morro rock. It was nice to sit out and bbq on the gas grill. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets. Overall was a pleasant week we spent there, would recommend. Owner very nice.

Clean and well stocked, the location was just perfect! Cindy is a great host. We had a view and found the apartment quiet and very comfortable. The washer and dryer was a bonus too.Easy access to local restaurants and shopping and also close to CA 1 for a drive up the Pacific Coast Highway. We’d stay here again!

A bright, clean, and well-appointed cottage with easy access to the beach and not far from all the Paso Robles wineries. The owner is friendly and easy to contact if you have any questions or issues (we didn’t).In short, it was everything we hoped for.

The house is nice, as described. We could not find bedding for the pull out bed. I would recommend asking more questions when it says "Pet" friendly. There is a large fine (in addition to the pet deposit) for leaving the dog alone or allowing the dog on the furniture. Was not expecting that.

I am so glad you found the house nice and as described. It is important and assuring to potential guests to know that about the property. I am in complete agreement with you that if you have any questions, to ask! Pets are welcomed upon approval, as stated on the headline of the property. Also, in the house rules, it states that dogs are not to get up on furniture or bedding. You could always bring something to put over the furniture if they can not stay off the furniture or beds. Communication is everything!! There is a $50 fee if pet hair is found on furniture and there is no fee if pets are left alone. Because of previous guest, leaving their dogs alone all day and all night, I discouraged your pet to be left alone. It is unfortunate because of a handful of guests, I have had to tighten up on pet rules but I am always very approachable and open to discuss any concerns one might have. I tried reaching you a few times regarding your stay and I never had a response back. And last, to address that you could not find the bedding for the sofa sleeper…it is directly right next to it, in the cubical and it also is written under the information for bedrooms and additional information. My phone number is listed and I am sorry that you did not give me a call or text with your concerns and questions.

This was our second time staying here and each time the home was clean and very well appointed.Check in was seamless, and Cindy (host) is lovely. We took our lab each time and the front patio is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets.The dog beach is very close, but we chose to not go this time.For those traveling with dogs, there are many restaurants all along that part of the coast that accommodate pups.Highly recommend this property for anyone getting away from the central valley heat or for those meandering down the coastline. Will definitely return and hopefully sooner that the last time we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was as described, had all the amenities, was well maintained and clean. The views are awesome! You can see the morro rock from the deck! Check-in process was smooth. Location is great although, There is some highway 1 noise during the day if you are on the deck but not enough to be a bother. Overall would recommend!

Cindy and I grew up in the Central Valley of California and always loved the surf, boarding and fishing. After owning rental homes in Fresno, our home town, we decided to get into the Central Coast housing market with a full time rental in Los Osos in 2000, thinking that it was where we would like to retire, eventually. Fourteen years later, as we closed in on retirement, we were able to trade rentals when we found the Cayucos house. With a vision in our minds and countless hours of watching DIY shows, we hired an architect and a contractor to make our dream reality. In the last month, as we finished our work, we’ve had 4 generations of family spend time with us and, as you can imagine, loved the experience.

We never thought we could find a home with proximity to the ocean, views, and requirements of 2bd, 2ba, inside laundry, and a garage that was affordable. We just got lucky. When discussing a mobil home with our good friend and realtor, Jeff Blanchard, he asked us what we really wanted and he said, “There is a house…” and we came immediately to check it out. In less than 10 minutes, Cindy was ready for an offer and I said, “Heck yah!!” The financing was a bit complicated, but, long story short, we have been able to remodel the ocean home of our dreams. The house is centrally located just east of Hwy 1, just across from Morro Strand beach and within short driving distance of many coastal attractions. We hope to move to the cottage in the future, but, for now, we will share it with a few “Ocean lovers.”

Without doubt, the view, the closeness to the ocean, and the comfort of the home are its unique qualities. The family throws their toys and towels into the wagon and we walk to the beach. Within 3 minutes, we are in sand, shoes off, wind in our face, waves crashing at our feet. Kids are digging in the sand, surfers are working the waves and couples are walking their dogs for miles. Nice place to be!
Aside from beach life, there are a multitude of other activities. World renown wine country with more than 250 wineries to visit and taste. Gather friends and let someone else do the driving. Sightseeing up and down the coast: Hearst Castle, sea lion rookery, Montana De Oro, Big Sur, Artist Colony at Harmony, fine dining in towns up and down the coast, and last but not least, you could simply put your feet up, read a book and relax... the Pacific Ocean stretching for as far as you can see.
