The open-plan living area (28ft x 14ft) is truly a work of art – a romantic, elevated space filled with natural light, gentle breeze, white-washed walls and terracotta floors. Eating out: The dining scene on the West Coast of Barbados is diverse, offering a mix of fine dining, casual beachside eateries, and local Bajan cuisine. The area is known for its beautiful beachfront restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and international dishes with stunning ocean views. The Fish Pot at Little Good Harbour, north of Speightstown, is great for a leisurely lunch or dinner overlooking the sea – one of the best on the island we think.
The Sea Shed on Mullins Beach has a beautiful setting, offering a range of dining options, beachside lounging, the Salt Bar and live entertainment. Just a short stroll from the apartment.
Little Bristol Beach Bar, Speightstown, is an old school Caribbean beach bar. Think sunsets, casual dining, cocktails and live music. It has a great atmosphere and wide age range.
Sandy Lane, beyond Holetown, is magic with a variety of dining options. A great Sunday lunch and evening meal.
Lone Star, between Mullins and Holetown, is our go-to place for a special occasion.
Local & Co, Speightstown, offer excellent food with ingredients sourced locally and an unbeatable bar menu! They have a small boutique with local artisan jewellery, pottery and knick-knacks. Take out pastries, pies and coffee. Bang on the beach! Brilliant.
