Peaceful location

Had an enjoyable 14 days despite the unpredictable weather. Very friendly members of staff who made our stay just that little bit special. Perfect place to relax, have a swim, and enjoy the beautiful garden. The monkeys were an added bonus

Beautifully kept property at the end of a quiet street. Pool backyard Oasis with lush tropical gardens and private patio. All the amenities needed. 4 min walk to Mullins beach with glorious sunsets and several restuarant options. Easy access to Bridgetown by bus. Everyone was so lovely we had a great time!

Our stay at Casablanca 1 was great...we liked it for the great location near the beach, the lush and quiet garden and pool area and the pool itself. Its located on a dead end street so there is no traffic or bustle whatsoever. The property is true to the photos in the listing. Fully equipped and a great bbq. We had some challenges with mosquitos despite the owners having repellant devices available...screen doors to complement the already screened windows would be helpful. Thank you Ian and Helen!

Very easy to access. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. Quick walk to Mullins beach and the pool is nice if you want a dip to cool down. Not all windows/doors have screens, so if you are someone who wants lots of airflow, make sure you bring bug spray if you are there in the wet season. Housekeeping and yard maintenance staff were amazing.

Thank you for your comments Louanne. We are aware of the mosquitoes, as it has been exceptionally wet this year. We are always trying to improve the condo, without making it feel closed in.

Beautiful Clean condo

We stayed here for a week and we have nothing but good things to say. The host was always in contact if needed. The staff at the property were very helpful and friendly . Great people . The condo itself was clean and the kitchen had anything you needed to cook . Plenty of clean towels . The pool was amazing and the water was sparkling . When we return to Barbados we definitely will stay here again . 10 out of 10

This villa is a gem. Beautiful island setting with basically a private pool, as the other 3 units were unoccupied. Easy walk to Mullins Beach, and again, very few people on such a beautiful beach where we spent hours swimming, sea glass searching and reading. The local walk-able restaurants made it so easy to continue to enjoy this area of Barbados. The mode of transportation for a true island adventure is the yellow bus! Hold on tight and go to Holetown or Speightstown for light shopping and more terrific cuisine! Ian and Helen’s villa was a perfect match for us! The island flowers were in full bloom around the building, song birds and our friendly rooster (fondly named HeyHey) gave us plenty to talk about. The gardener and service staff were always pleasant and so helpful, as was the site manager, Kathy. She even set up a reliable and safe taxi service to the airport, the one place we really did not want to go! We should’ve stayed longer.

Your lovely review means everything to us! It's so important that our guests feel welcomed and extremely comfortable in our villa. We are having insect screens installed very soon, on the lounge and first bedroom doors to add extra comfort. The pool and it's area is big enough to accommodate all four villas, but I know that special feeling when you have it all to yourselves. I'm glad HeyHey didn't disturb you, he's new to the neighbourhood (we met him last month), and he's a gorgeous boy! We do hope you will return. It was a pleasure and a delight to have you stay. We stayed here for 4 days at the end of our trip. The condo is spacious and airy and secure and is well equipped. There was nothing that we needed. The outside pool area and grounds are lovely and well kept. As there are only 4 properties in the complex there was always loungers available. The staff were helpful and friendly. We loved the location as it was in a quiet area but only a short walk to Mullins and Gibbes Beaches. We will definitely return.
