Lovely sunny aspect to front rooms. Quiet location off main road. Easy walk into town. Italian restaurant just around the corner. Good sized rooms. Kichen well supplied. We had a lovely stay.

We (4 adults and a 4 month old baby) stayed at RiverGem for 28 days. The location is excellent—very central and close to shops and walking trails. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, pots, pans, and everything needed to cook. The BBQ was also a great. While the bathrooms and kitchen were clean on arrival, the home would benefit from a more thorough deep clean. We found dust bunnies, socks, and small pieces of plastic under the beds from previous guests, and the windows, blinds, and baseboards had noticeable dust buildup. They white rug in the living room is grey due to all the dirt buildup. The washing machine is quite small—about a third the size of a standard unit—which made it difficult to keep up with laundry for four adults and a baby. Because of this, we weren’t able to wash larger items like sheets. One set of fresh sheets was provided and after that a 114 charge applies. The couch is supported with pool noodles underneath, and there is only enough outdoor furniture for four people. We did request new pillows during our stay, and while this was eventually addressed, it took about two weeks.
We were 3 couples and we all had good spaced rooms. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Location is perfect in a backstreet from the main road and we could walk everywhere to restaurants and shops.
We all agreed we would stay there again when we revisit Margret River next time.
Excellent location right in Margaret River town. Beautifully updated house -very comfortable accommodation with newly updated bathrooms & kitchen. A great place to stay
The property is well located. Close to everything in Margaret River. The house was clean and tidy. The host left lots of information on the area and responded to any questions quickly. Well worth the stay and would stay there again.
The house is very clean, well appointed, is exactly like the photos online and the location is within walking distance of the main street. However the night before our check out, I was taken aback that the Property Manager Bec requested that we take out the rubbish to the bins outside. I thought this is why a cleaning fee is charged. I’ve never had this request with other properties I’ve stayed at in recent months. I don’t know if this is a new thing or it’s just this property in particular.

Great location. House was very cold - needed more blankets.
We had a great time at the place, it is nice and central and exactly as described.
Rebecca was great to deal with and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.
The home is located right at the edge of town and close to everything, the Margaret River, walks, cycling paths and all restaurants and shops. The comms with Bec was easy and timely and she was helpful in answering my questions. The home is spacious and was super clean and has everything you need but we found the outdoor area could be done a bit nicer in our opinion. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of building going around the neighbourhood so it was a bit noisy in the mornings. The main bedroom bed was also a bit squeaky but I let Bec know and hopefully this will be fixed for the text holidayers.
Great location. Very clean and welcoming. Great for a family situation. Almost like walking into your own house down south.
Will look for the opportunity to return again.
Great location just a short walk into town. The house was lovely and clean. It was really nice to have a warm and cosy house to come back to after a day out checking out the sights of Margaret River. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.
Large comfortable house. One bed and bathroom are separated from the other bath and bedrooms so there is privacy.
The only real complaint was the lack of insulation in the building, as it was hard to heat properly (it was winter) without burning lots of electricity. Chairs around the tables are also really tired and uncomfortable. Not major issues, but would improve the property if fixed.

Thanks Dave for your review and comments ...would just like to say that The chairs have been updated this week ! and they are very comfortable :))
The house is even better than the photos. Very modern and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped for what we needed. Walking distance from the Main Street and the river. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Great house in a great location...however due to major roadworks in the Main Street traffic is diverted directly past the property and is very noisy at times
