Paradise in Sandbridge Beach- Your Own Resort by the Beach!
We only rent from Saturday to Saturday (7 night rental) in June, July and August. Also, Saturday check in for May and early September.
Imagine being surrounded by a treed wildlife preserve while laid back at the enormous pool or hanging out in the tiki hut! This 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath (sleeps 11), three story house has all of the amenities you are searching for at an unbelievable price! The house sits on a double lot on a cul-de-sac in the most convenient part of Sandbridge. Completely remodeled throughout, enjoy the 3 new porches and decks with both pool and ocean views. There is a short, one block walk (2/10 of a mile) to the most popular beach in Sandbridge! Spotting dolphins is very common while lying on the sand. In addition, the grocery store, three restaurants and gift stores are a few more steps!
New carpet and wood flooring in most rooms make this remodeled home an easy choice for your vacation. Six walls of hand-painted murals depicting an underwater dolphin scene and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse will delight young and old alike. Coded entry to the property makes checking in a breeze! There is plenty of room for the kids to come along or for two families to share:
Bedroom 1- Queen bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2- 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4)
Bedroom 3- Queen bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 4- 1 twin and 1 full (sleeps 3)
Linens and towels are INCLUDED at no extra cost! Cable TV, wireless internet, are included!
We have 2 bikes, a beach cart with beach chairs, rolling cooler, boogie boards, and plenty of toys for the kids! In addition, we have a portable crib, toys, a baby gate, toddler guard fence for the bed and booster chair for your use. The little ones will love the new pirate play set, mini kitchen, turtle sandbox and water table! The house books up quickly, so we would love for you to enjoy our "Paradise!" Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Great family vaca

We had an amazing vacation. Couple of little hiccups when we first arrived but the owner was very quick to respond and got the issues resolved. Wonderful time had by entire family!!!!

Nice home

House was very nice. Unfortunately there is not an ocean view but overall the house is good. The pool is great and there are a lot of items for small children.

The PERFECT setting for High School classmates reuniting after 49 years!

Great house - fully stocked AMAZING POOL, great location with easy walk to the beach and shops!!! The neighborhood was beautiful, especially at night. We had 2 rainy, cold days and we had plenty of room inside to enjoy games, puzzle, movies and TV. Thanks for sharing this wonderful place with us ❤️❤️❤️

Family get together

Location was excellent. We had my 21/2 year old granddaughter at the house it was wonderfully filled with toys totally kid friendly. Pool area was great. House needs some work, we were the first to rent it this season needs a deep cleaning.

Amazing!

We had a great week at Paradise. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Teresa was so great to work with in booking the place. Very quiet cul-de-sac and short walk to beach. Our family enjoyed the pool so very much. Great memories for all of us.

Sand ridge stay in September

The check in process was nice and easy. The property manager and owner were both quick and easy to reach. They fixed any issues we had promptly. The house had some small minor things left over from the last people that stayed. Overall a nice place to stay. The outdoor entertainment area was perfect for our group to hang out in the afternoons!

Great house may only wish is that the pool would have been heated. Would have paid extra for that cause the water was too cold to swim in.

Playground at Sandbridge

This rental is excellent for a family with young children. We had our 4 year old granddaughter with us and she absolutely love the home and all of the amenities. We all had a fantastic time. Owners kept us well informed, as to check-in and out process. Location is fantastic and priced accordingly. This was our first getaway since the big C and was enjoyed by all. Location, location, location and this rental definitely has the location. Many thanks to our host.

50th Anniversary Family Getaway

We all enjoyed our stay so much — not ready to go home! It was the first time for most in our group (6 adults and 5 grandsons — ages 7-17) to see the ocean — what fun! And the pool was a big hit — such a nice outdoor setting. The toy kitchen caught the eye of our youngest grandson — fixed us supper the first night with his dishes, etc. We also enjoyed walking to the ice cream shops! A wonderful place to spend time with family. The Fisch’s from Iowa

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Sandbridge! Teresa allowed us to check in early as we arrived early and once the cleaning crew was done we were able to enter the house. The house was a small walking distance from the beach. We had one little incident with the toilet and we called the property manager and it was resolved within an hour. The house had everything we needed. The pool was the best part and being able to enjoy the beach and then come back and have fun in the pool was just what we needed. We really loved our stay and will definitely book again in the future!!

Great 1st VRBO Experience

This property was as advertised. Very clean and the decor is super beachy and cute! Extra attention and care given with a personalized beach bag with useful items, fully loaded kitchen, beautiful pool, cozy rooms and updated bathrooms. Beach towels provided and came in handy along with linens and bathroom towels. The tiki bar is awesome especially since our son turned 21 while we were there! The only suggestion would be to add a hot tub to the pool area to really complete the experience. Would highly recommend this VRBO and are already thinking of making plans for next year.

Don't Hesitate To Book This House! Wonderful !

We had a great week at Paradise in Sandbridge!! Not ever being in this area we were a little apprehensive, that lasted about 2 minutes after we walked into the beach house. The pool was sooo nice to have and the Tiki Bar was well used! The amount of extras and details the owners have thought of are terrific and made this really a carefree vacation destination for us. We used the bikes everyday and the convenience of everything was awesome! We will not hesitate to stay here again! The owners were great to get ahold of with any questions we had before we got there........we give it a five star rating!

So close to the beach we went over early and set out our chairs and came back. The Market was close enough to walk to and carry our purchases back. (The prices were cheaper than my supermarket at home!). A golf course was very close for my 2 17 y.o.’s to play. And all the grandkids were more than happy to walk with me to Ben and Jerry’s. The pool was great! Lots of things to do in Virginia Beach and vicinity. I’m ready to make my reservation for next year.

Great family house

This was our first stay in Sandbridge, VA and our first vacation with our 13 month old son. The layout of the house worked out perfectly for us. The living area is on the top floor and had a ton of games and toys for kids of all ages. My in laws stayed on the main level where the kitchen is and my husband, son and I on the bottom floor. The owners of the house have truly thought of everything you could possibly need. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away. We spent our afternoons and evenings at the gorgeous pool and surrounding deck. I highly recommend this rental to any family with kids. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning to Sandbridge for future vacations. Thank you for a great stay!

Aug 2024 Trip

The house was exactly what we needed; the ground level had 1.5 bathrooms, full laundry room (coming home with clean clothes is amazing!!), a double bunk room, and the primary bedroom. Up one flight of steps was the kitchen/dining area, a full bathroom, another bunk room and the 4th bedroom. The third floor was a living area stocked with toys, perfect for the littles! There are decks on each floor and plenty of space for everyone. Both our host, Teresa, and property manager, Lauren, were extremely helpful and responsive. We received a lovely personalized welcome/starter bag to keep as a souvenir of our trip. The house is fully stocked; had we known just how stocked it was, we could've left about half of our stuff at home. The location is much quieter than staying in Virginia Beach - which we loved! We spent most of our week in the salt water pool and tiki bar. While we did notice a few areas the cleaning crew missed, we didn't mind at all! We'd definitely stay here again

In need of some TLC

This house is indeed in a great location. Five minute walks to the beach, a great restaurant, a souvenir shop, and ice cream. The pool is also great, clean and big with many lounge chairs to relax in. However, the the house itself is in great need of a thorough cleaning and overall refreshing. We found cob webs hanging from many ceilings, black areas around the ceiling vents, and lots of mess from prior renters (including two used bandaids on the master’s rug and old food under the runner on the eating table). There was equipment as mentioned for the young kids (like a booster) but unfortunately we didn’t use since they were so dirty. We also found some of the linens in need of replacing, some of the towels and sheets had holes. On the other hand, the beach towels were nice and plentiful and the beach cart was very nice and convenient. Although we loved Sandbridge Beach, we were very disappointed in this house and would not rent this specific house again. Lastly, this is just a FYI, you do have to make up your own beds ( I did not see this mentioned in any other reviews), so if you arrive late just know to allow a little extra time before getting the kids to bed.

I am shocked at this review, since you never made me aware of any of these issues during your stay. We certainly would have done whatever was needed to correct any issues since we strive for 5 stars. The house was deep cleaned in May and it is very rare that we have complaints about the cleaning crew. I am sorry you did not have a 5 star experience.

Great for a big group with young kids

My husband and I stayed with our 5 kids in their 20s and grandkids 10mo to 4. This was perfect! So many toys for both little kids and grown-ups. Adults enjoyed the bikes (for cruising the neighborhood and a trip to bike a few miles at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge). The kids loved the sandbox and ball pit in the yard, the toy kitchen and bins of toys in the living room, the water table and chest of pool toys by the pool, the sand toys for the beach, the stack of books for bedtime stories - you had it all! The pool is behind a gate with a very high latch and an auto-swing-shut spring mechanism. The 1st floor exterior door exits onto a porch, and then the pool gate is on that porch. We put a baby gate inside the house before the exterior door, for 1 more layer of security to prevent kids from accessing the pool unattended. The other helpful baby gear included the packnplay w/ multiple sheets, the booster, and the baby silverware. Great beach gear - chairs, lots of towels, boogie boards, sand toys, and best of all a sand wagon to haul it all back and forth. The master bedroom and bunk room on the lower floor were great for us and the single 20-somethings respectively, and the other two bedrooms on the middle floor (the kitchen/dining area floor) worked well for the family with young kids to have their own space. Lazy afternoons found us playing in the pool or enjoying the well-shaded tiki hut. Evenings were spent playing board games on the comfy 3rd floor. 2 thumbs up for Paradise!

*WARNING* about this property !

The price of the home in comparison to other properties in the area is high considering the home is very outdated. The air vent and registers have thick dust, there were random small items found around the beds that others had left and not picked up by cleaning staff. Other surfaces were dusty and dirty, utensils were placed back in the drawer that had large amounts of stuck on food, there was standing water on the plates in the cabinet. The carpets were stained. The home feels more like you are staying in someone's personal home versus more of a beach rental. There are lots of personal items in the bathrooms.When you walk through the door of the home there is a strong odor of mildew. The mattresses were uncomfortable. I recieved several accusational messages several days after check out advising missing and broken items from the property. I advised the host that under no circumstances did we damage to steal items from the home. The circumstances surrounding my text conversation w/ the host made me very uncomfortable. I suggested she contact the previous renters since the entire outside trash cans were filled with alcohol trash when we arrived.I contacted VRBO myself and made a claim against the host. I do encourage future renters to take pictures when you arrive and when you leave if you do decide to stay in this home. (I previously attempted to write a very detailed review but VRBO limits the text. Also, please pay attention to the negative reviews and how the host responds

There were absolutely no complaints from this renter the entire week of their stay. Upon check out, the property manager and the cleaning team reported that they had broken the sofa, a mirror was missing off the wall and the new LVP flooring was chipped. We will have to replace all of the den furniture due to their negligence and repair the flooring. They left the property in disarray and my team had to scramble to try to get it ready for the next renter. VRBO charged this renter the damage deposit of $500, so this is why she left a 1 star review.. The renter the week after left a 5 star review, which is what we strive for. We will always take care of any issues!

Perfect vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to beach, market and shops. The grandkids loved the playroom and the gate was helpful to keep them contained. Great pool and toys, floats to go with. We brought our own baby pool and set up on the patio. Will definitely be back - our first and not last trip to Sandbridge!

This property needed lots of work when we bought it years ago! Each year we renovate, redecorate and renew to keep the property in tip-top condition! The location is the best in Sandbridge! It sits on a huge double lot right by the wildlife reserve and we love that it is on a cul-de-sac so the kids can play! It is so peaceful here......

If this house could talk..... my family has spent every celebration here...Birthdays, graduations, baby showers, reunions, retirements, girl's weekends... So many wonderful memories have been made here. We usually gather in the pool area and by the Tiki Bar! There are 36 seating options outside on the porches and around the pool, so you will want to spend your time relaxing in the fresh ocean air! WE love this house and know you will too!
