We loved the cozy cabin and it was so comfortable. Everything we needed for a week in the Smokies. The location was convenient for the Cade’s Cove side of the park. A lovely setting- quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here on another trip!
The cabin was well-equipped and the perfect size for us. We so appreciated that our dog was welcome, too. The inside of the cabin was clean, but there was a musty odor under the sinks and in the closet/laundry room. The windows and screens were quite dirty as well. Otherwise, the cabin was lovely and comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and pretty. We enjoyed our time in Townsend.
It was great. Just a few pesky ants in the kitchen and I believe the half bath exhaust fan leaked when it rain. We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, cozy and quiet.
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property. It was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. Excellent location and no steep driveway! We had a great time hiking at nearby Cades Cove and Spruce Flat Falls. Great stay and look forward to returning to Townsend!
Very nice and well-stocked cabin. We enjoyed our stay. I would like to point out that this is in the woods, so there are a lot of spiders around the exterior of the house (didn't see any inside though) with webs in all the windows which may be an issue for some people.
This was our 3rd stay in their cabins but first time in laural mist. Very clean and Cozy just like all their cabins. They have everything you need to relax and a very close ride to Cades Cove. Only minutes to the river, walking trails and great restaurants.
The property is amazing. It’s very clean and comfortable. The property host responded quickly to questions. Great location, especially being close to Cades Cove, where we saw several bears. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I hope to return in the near future
We had a very relaxing and comfortable get-away. The cabin is a short drive to breweries and restaurants in Townsend, as well as to the GSMNP entrance and Cades Cove. We took advantage of the full kitchen to cook a couple of meals and enjoyed them al fresco on the nice screened porch. Very nice stay.
Cabin was very clean, comfortable and stocked with all the necessary linens, cleaning supplies, and paper goods. Exactly as represented in the photos. Checking in & out was a breeze. This is the second cabin we have rented with Cyndie.
This cabin was very appealing, inside and out. Clean, well supplied, with great attention to detail. We have rented from this owner for many years, and she has always been very caring and responsive. We plan to keep working with her!
Love the cabin. Everything we need for our stay. Our 2nd in this cabin, 3rd total. My daughter just stayed, and my 2nd daughter has booked also. Love the location. Has all amenities, private.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Like a home away from home. We love it

I have been selling Smoky Mountain Real Estate since 2007 and managing Smoky Mountain Rental Properties since 2014. As the Owner and Principal Broker of a Townsend based Real Estate Firm, I have been in and out of hundreds of rental cabins. Feeling strongly that people want to be treated to a clean and well stocked cabin in a private surrounding, my husband and I decided to see if our theory was correct. We purchased our first cabin in 2014 and put it in service. The demand was overwhelming, and we soon purchased our second and third. The owners of Laurel Mist purchased this cabin from us and we agreed to manage the rental of this cabin as well, since it has the same private setting and warm interior decor that our guests enjoy. We felt Laurel Mist was a perfect match for our clients.
