Comfortable and convenient
Enjoyed our stay at "El Viejo". Comfortable and conveniently located, close to cafes, downtown and the university.
Property was clean but the bed and bedding was not that comfortable. I would’ve preferred to be on the other side of the river but it was still convenient. Check in and communication was great. All the rules and notes were a little much.
Great little place, excellent location
Superb location in a happening city!
If it seems to good to be true... it probably is!
The location and size of the condo were perfect for our needs. There is street noise - vehicle and pedestrian - which cannot be helped due to the age and location of the building. The management company (Plum) did a great job of keeping us informed prior to our stay and even helped with we only had linens for 2 people even though our reservation clearly stated 3 people. We really were only at the condo to sleep (on a super firm bed and pull out couch), shower, and eat breakfast as Missoula has so much to offer, there is no reason to stay in a stuffy condo all day. There are a lot of rules here - don't wear shoes in the condo, turn on the bathroom fan whilst showering, water the plants, don't touch the food in the freezer, put things away where you found them, etc. I understand rules help keep order and keep the condo nice for all who choose to stay, but don't be fooled. You can follow all of the rules and still get dinged on your security deposit. Perhaps there needs to be a list of rules stating exactly how the condo should be for checkout, as it seems no matter what you do, the cleaning service will state it took them too long to clean and you'll be charged. The maintenance asked during the stay and the fees associated are less than desirable. I will not recommend this listing to family and friends and will not stay here again.
It was great
Great house, loved the location
This property is close to many Missoula attractions. The nearby river can be floated in tubes, rafts, or boats, and the man-made rapid near downtown is a popular river surfing, paddle boarding, and kayaking location.
It is also within walking distance of the beautiful University of Montana campus as well as Washington-Grizzly stadium, home of the Griz!
