Dune Our Thing con A / C y Floridale Resort

Dune Our Thing ... es una maravillosa cabaña de 4 dormitorios que se compró nueva en 2002. Ubicada en el hermoso Floridale Resort, esta cabaña está a solo 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad, el faro de Little Sable y el lago Michigan, y el área de Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV.
La cabaña cuenta con 4 habitaciones amplias, que tienen espacio adicional para dormir con un nuevo sofá cama doble en la sala de estar, junto con otro nuevo sofá reclinable y un sillón reclinable a juego. Esta casa duerme cómodamente 12 personas. La cabaña también tiene un baño completo con bañera / ducha combinada, y un segundo baño con ducha solamente, una hermosa sala de estar con techos altos, área de cocina y comedor.
Disfrute de entretenerse con familiares y amigos mientras se asa en nuestra enorme terraza cubierta de 14 x 30 pies con techos estilo catedral, que cuenta con agradables asientos en el patio para 12 personas. ¡Llueva o haga sol, seguramente apreciará este espacio! Hay amplio espacio para estacionar en nuestra espaciosa entrada.
¡Dune Our Thing cuenta con un lote extra con toneladas de espacio para jugar! Disfruta de nuestro set de badmiton y trae tus guantes de béisbol y tu frisbee para disfrutar en nuestro lote doble. Relájate en nuestra hoguera con muchos asientos para fogatas bajo las estrellas.
La sala de juegos bajando las escaleras tiene una mesa de Air Hockey, una mesa de futbolín y un aro de baloncesto estilo Arcade.
La piscina climatizada y la casa club se encuentran a pocos pasos de nuestro sendero natural, llamado Spartan Walkway.
Dune Our Thing está ubicado en la fase más nueva de Floridale Resort, con carreteras privadas pavimentadas lejos del ruido y el tráfico, pero ideal para andar en bicicleta y caminar. Ven, relájate y disfruta

Very well maintained home with all the amenitirs needed. The best part is the amazing deck, large enough for the home family to gather.

Family Fun

Easy check in. Awesome deck. Great outdoor space (lots of dirt). Nice beds and linens. Game room was fun for the kids. Nice fire pit and chairs. Misses having a lake view. Pool was great, plenty of seating. Plenty to keep busy at Silver Lake.

Great week at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes

This is a great property for a large family/group. It's well stocked with linens and kitchen gear. We especially loved the huge porch and fire pit, both of which had plenty of seating! It was also super close to both Silver Lake and Lake Michigan, with a nice pool within walking distance. Only (small) complaints are that the carpets could all use a good shampooing/replacement and the kitchen lacks both a garbage disposal and a dishwasher, which makes cleaning up after meals a bit of a pain. We would stay again!

Great Flora-Dale property

Our stay was great. There's so much to do with the kids nearby. When we did have an issue with a faulty fire alarm, the owner helped immediately.

Wonderful Location

We had an amazing time here. There was plenty of room to park and the cabin felt spacious! The location was great. The huge porch/deck was our favorite loved sitting there and enjoying the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Great week with family

Took a weeks vacation with my cousins family and my own, 4 parents and 8 kids ranging in age from 11-21. Planned on just using the house as a stepping off point to head out hiking, fishing and do other things, but ended up raining straight for three of the days. The place was still big enough for us to play games and give the kids their own space. Would definitely go back!

Silver Lake Getaway

Overall great family experience, lots to do in the area, basement game room a hit, leather sofas comfortable, association pool clear and warm, large porch & grill great for outdoor eating. A few negatives: association beach not good for swimming, had to go to state park beach or one of several Lake Michigan beaches. Also, kitchen really small and stove /refrigerator could use a good cleaning. But by far it was an enjoyable family experience and we made lots of fun memories!!!

Dune our thing

Had a good stay here, was a nice cabin and clean. Very roomy, loved the porch. The basement was musty but otherwise no problems. Was a short walk to the pool which we loved the pool, had a great slide and was warm!

4th of July week was great!!

This property is as described and reviewed. The porch is huge, and includes 2 tables and a gas grill. The firepit has nice and plentiful seats. The window air-conditioner helps to keep the main level a reasonable comfortable temperature. The kitchen is small, however still very much functional. There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils. There are no seasonings, with the exception of salt & pepper. So bring everything with you need gor cooking. Great location!!!

Great family cottage

Our family had a wonderful time at "Dune Our Thing" cottage. We loved the porch where we had most of our meals. The cottage is well stocked and the game room was a big hit with our little ones .There is so much to do and see around Silver Lake - Mac Woods dune ride (a must), boating on Silver Lake, Craig's Cruisers, and just enjoying the many amenities of Flora Dale. We actually had the pool all to ourselves one afternoon. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Family Vacation

We had a great time at Silver Lake staying at Dune Our Thing! The cottage is in a great location and the pool at the Flora- Dale Resort is a lot of fun! We would take day trips to the beach and use the pool most evenings and the kids had a blast! The cottage is well maintained but there are a few things to note. The kitchen is small- 2 people can’t really fit when preparing food. This was difficult because we like to prep food together and enjoy the experience of this. Two of the 4 bedrooms are actually located on the lower level. There is also no central air unit- just a window air conditioner. It was in the 90’s during our stay so the cottage was a little warm. They do provide fans though and rooms have ceiling fans. The porch is absolutely awesome. It’s huge (the pictures don’t do it justice). We spent the morning enjoying coffee at the table and every evening we ate dinner outside as well! It is so cozy and nice. The fire pit is also nice to have. We only used it once because of the heat but the kids were able to make S’mores and there are plenty of chairs provided. We had a great vacation and there are so many things to do around the cottage! We loved the Whippy Dip and Mac Dune Rides. Pentwater and Ludington beaches are also a fairly short drive too. We will definitely be back to Silver Lake and Flora-Dale!

Fun time at Silver Lake!

Certainly enjoyed our week at Dune Our Thing! The cottage was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and pots and pans - even a crock pot! Although the kitchen and dining area was a bit small, we used the wonderful covered deck that had comfortable seating and tables and a huge propane grill. Also enjoyed “s’mores” at the yard fire pit with seating for 12. Reclining sofa and love seat in TV area was very comfortable. The two bedrooms and bath on main floor and two bedrooms , bath, game room, and washer & dryer on lower floor worked well for our family. The bedrooms on lower floor were at ground level so the windows made the bedrooms bright and cheery. Cottage is located in a quiet wooded area - delightful - with a great heated pool and clubhouse nearby. Older grandchildren walked to the pool; Moms, Gma & Gpa drove. Silver Lake, sand dunes, Lake Michigan, and Cherry Point market are all within a few minutes driving time. And better yet, there are at least 4 ice cream shops nearby! Hope to return in the future...

Great vacation near Silver Lake!

We recently stayed at Dune Our Thing and had a wonderful visit. We were 2 families traveling with a total of 5 small children (ages 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8) and the cabin was nearly perfect to accommodate us. The pros of the cabin: there were ample bedrooms and beds for everyone, there were 2 bathrooms, there was an awesome game room in the basement for the kiddos, the living area had plenty of seating for everyone, the kitchen was well-stocked, the covered deck gave us plenty of room for meal time even if it rained, the yard was nice and big for the kids to play, the pool was amazing and we spent a ton of time there! The cons of the cabin: the kitchen was very small and more than 2 people in the kitchen at once was very cramped, we had hoped we would have a view of Silver Lake from the cabin but we did not, and finally, it was a bit of a hike to the pool and Silver Lake. When booking, we were under the impression that it was about 1 block to the pool but it was really more like 2-3 (walk to the end of the street, walk down a path, and then walk through the rest of the resort to get to the pool). While the walk wasn't particularly long, it meant that we couldn't easily run back to the cabin if we needed something or forgot something. Overall, however, the cabin was excellent, clean and well-stocked. It was very near lots of fun things to do and we had a great vacation!

wonderful property!

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the home and resort. We especially enjoyed the front porch for grilling out and eating our meals as well as the game room downstairs. Owner was great to work with.

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful, comfortable cottage. Everything we need was there, and we felt you really welcomed us and wanted us to have a great vacation... WE DID, and plan to do it again next year. We were at another location on Silver Lake for 44 years, and are wishing we had found this earlier!

Great time

Our family had such a great time at Dune our thing. This cottage was perfect for our large family. The place was so clean and had so many things for all to do. Air hockey and fooze ball was a hit. The large covered front porch was so great our whole family could set out on it. We ate all our evening meals there. I have nothing but high praise for this cottage. The pool was warm and inviting. Also being so close to the Dunes could not have been better. Hope our family can come back again.

Our summer vacation

This is the second year in a row our family has vacationed in this home. We loved it so much we came back. The house was clean and very comfortable. We loved the games in the downstairs rec room and had a hard time getting the kids out of the HEATED pool all week. There was lots of parking space for all our toys and plenty of room for multiple families to co exist thanks to multiple bathrooms. We go carted, rode dune buggies, played in Silver Lake and Lake Michigan, and ate tons of great food in Hart and Pentwater. We also love that Michigan's Adventure water park is about 15 minutes up the road. That's a whole day of fun. With the canoeing, horseback riding, fresh produce stands, etc., it's hard to decide what not to do. We will definitely stay in this home again next year. Not one "Mom, I'm bored..." ALL WEEK! You can't beat that!

summer fun

Great location--close to all the activities of Silver Lake. Short drive to Lake Michigan and Little Sable Light. Had all amenities of home. Very comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of room for sleeping. The game room was a hit with the kids and the extra lot provided a lot of room to run around and enjoy a nice campfire. The community pool was great! The house was beautiful with an amazing front porch and the inside had a beautiful rustic wood interior. Convenient Sliver Lake access if you bring a boat/jet ski, etc.. Great place for a family vacation!
