Guests can view accurate, up-to-date photos on our listing to ensure our home aligns with their expectations — we don’t present it as high-end, but as a clean, cozy, and comfortable cottage that’s perfect for relaxing and recharging. The bathrooms, while not modern, are clean, fully functional, and maintained. Our goal is to provide a clean and comfortable stay, and while this property is a cozy lake cottage, it’s cleaned and maintained to the similar high standards as our luxury homes. We appreciated you notifying us about the shower handle, and we immediately had our maintenance team resolve the issue. While we strive for everything to be excellent, sometimes minor issues, like in this case a loose screw which when the handle was accidentally pulled it came off can occur. When they do, we do our best to address them quickly during your stay. This is why we encourage our guests to let us know of any concerns while they’re with us so we can take care of them promptly. Regarding the shower, it features a standard two-part curtain system. It’s important to pull the plastic side of the curtain inside the shower to prevent water from reaching the floor. To further ensure comfort, we also provide a bath mat to keep the area dry. We always keep extra duvets, comforters, towels, and linens available in case of any needs during your stay. We greatly appreciate your selecting our home and we love sharing our family cottage with our guests,and families to enjoy and have memories as we have for your relaxing getaways.
