The Dragonfly se encuentra en Elk Rapids en Bass Lake y es una encantadora casa de campo acogedora y una casa de huéspedes que recibe hasta 6 huéspedes. Este es un sábado a sábado semanal en el verano. Algunas estancias cortas pueden estar disponibles. Las estancias cortas deben confirmar a través de nuestra oficina. Ubicado en la pintoresca ciudad de Elk Rapids en el lado este. Un lugar dulce que seguramente complacerá. East Grand Traverse Bay está a solo unos minutos de aquí. El salón está fuera de la cocina y cuenta con un televisor inteligente con Direct TV. Fuera de la cocina en el lado del lago hay un porche cerrado, un lugar perfecto para tomar un café por la mañana. La casa principal cuenta con 2 dormitorios y 1 baño. Ambas habitaciones tienen una cama queen. La casa de huéspedes también cuenta con una cama queen y baño. Sábanas y toallas incluidas. Salga por la puerta del porche a una espaciosa terraza con un área perfecta para relajarse y asar. La casa de huéspedes está a pocos pasos de la casa principal. También hay una sala de lavandería separada en la parte trasera de la casa principal. Una mascota bien educada es bienvenida.

Al aire libre hay una gran área de césped que baja a tu propio lugar privado en el lago. Puedes sentarte en la terraza y ver a los niños jugar en el lago. Hay un pozo de fuego ubicado cerca del agua. Un montón de muebles de exterior y una parrilla completan la comodidad para la diversión al aire libre. A poca distancia de la tienda de comestibles y un par de restaurantes. El vecindario tranquilo es un lugar perfecto para alejarse de todo. ELk Rapids está a unos 20 minutos de Traverse City. Kewadin es de 10 minutos.

Cute cottage. Cleanliness was fine, except the one bed had a stained sheet. Kayaks were full of water, so not useable. Management company was very responsive. Walked to grocery and restaurant

Quiet. Traffic out front goes away after 10pm. The lake is wonderful. Husband loved fishing and dog loved swimmingWalking the neighborhoods is funShorts and Pearls are delicious food and drink options.

Nice & Quiet

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was cute. Yard is large and had plenty of space for our boys to run around. Kayaks were nice. There is only 1 AC unit in the living room and the bedrooms were kind of small. Wish there were bunkbeds and a pull out couch. There was a mowing service that came during one of the days of our stay and blew grass all over our stuff on the deck which was loud and annoying. Grill had no propane. Communication w visit up north was pretty easy. Location was close to Shorts and a few restaurants and grocery store that was nice. The indian restaurant magic masala was super slow tho and not the best food so would advise to avoid that place.

My daughter and I..along with our furbaby..had an amazing time at the Dragonfly!The cottage was very charming and had everything we needed to feel like home!We will definitely be booking a trip back next year!!We highly recommend!!

Cute little lake house

Perfect size for us. 2 kids (4&6) and 2 adults. Picked this house for it being lake front with a boat dock. Great area for kids, not deep at all, we felt safe at all times. Lots of ducks. Super close to a market and gas station, and super close to Shorts Brewery, our favorite place. Clean house and had everything we needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were used to staying on Glen Lake but b/c we decided to go so late in the summer season a rental was hard to come by. This place at least got us in the area. Toaster burned the toast. A/C stopped cooling in 90+ heat. View of the lake was obstructed by a large tree that could have been limbed up. Lake has mucky” bottom which neighbor recommended we not get in. TV operated with Firestick which we weren’t familiar with so we had to call 3 times to get operational - could’ve used simple instructions for use. Rental is VERY small and had to wash every kitchen utensil used b/c was not clean1

Short and sweet

Our stay was a short one. Waking up to be able to go fishing or swimming was wonderful. Then close to other bigger beaches and Shorts was great fun. Place is very quiet -after 10 pm when things shut down.Call of the loons is a great lullaby.

Quiet Location - Great Walking

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The management company was excellent. They were responsive and available when needed. We had issues with the internet and were able to direct me to make a quick fix until Spectrum could remedy it permanently two days later. THANK YOU!The house isn't in great condition - it felt un-loved. The kitchen is disorganized - things just thrown on shelves and in drawers (with the exception of the two upper cabinets Plates/Glasses). The bathroom didn't seem clean, the floor grout needs a really good scrub (especially close to the sink) and the shower had areas of black mildew. The bathroom walls with all the moisture really need to be wiped down well in-between renters - there were water streaks everywhere. The moisture in the house probably contributes to the film on countertops and on cabinet shelves even though we emptied the dehumidifier twice daily. The beds were comfortable. The supplies were adequate and appreciated. The location was great and we enjoyed sitting on the patio regularly. I would recommend for a quick stay but not longer.

Cozy and relaxing

This property had everything we needed for our family trip. We really enjoyed the lake and the large yard. The house was very cozy and comfortable. We had everything at the house to make great memories on a family vacation.

Bass Lake In Elk Rapids.

Lovely stay - very nice and quiet, exactly what I was looking for attending a work conference in Traverse City - gave me a space to get away and enjoy in peace...even had some colleagues over for an evening around the campfire and we all agreed it was much better than booking hotel rooms and spending $$$ on high-end dinners - this was a better experience for me. Everything about the process was smooth. I had read comments about musty-ness in the property and was a little concerned. While there is a slight bit I detected when I walked in, it's nothing to be concerned about whatsoever. Walked in and literally said "it's a cottage - this is exactly what I was anticipating". Enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you.

Little things

It is a small very sweet little place. Right on the water. Was throughly enjoyable for the 2 of us and our Lab. (Who enjoyed the water and ducks). My only thing is….please maybe leave instructions for the TV. And, put more lamps in. Brighter light bulb in kitchen. Maybe even night lights around? Got a tad dark at night and trying to find the bathroom was a tad hazardous.

Fishing trip

The property was very nice. We went for fishing so we were hoping for a bigger variety of fish. Several other lakes are close by for fishing. overall, highly recommend.

Nice location

This place is cute, but man does it smell musty. I figured this would be the case given the other reviews, but wow. Definitely don’t suggest staying here unless you can keep some windows open. There’s clearly an issue with ventilation here. Too bad because it is honestly a cute spot and very well located. Otherwise, it’s fine. The master bed could use a replacement mattress or bed frame, we ended up using the other bedroom for this reason, which was fine just something to note if you toss and turn like I do, it’s loud. The WiFi connection was good enough for light streaming, our phones and working, so that was nice. The backyard area is very nice, it was too cold for us to use it much, but it’s kept up very well, I could see this being a great hang out spot in the summer. Another suggestion, and this may have been listed somewhere and I missed it, but label the wall switches. There are switches that control certain outlets in different places, super confusing when you first arrive and you’re trying to the get the heat going (because yes, there is a switch that controls the outlet the furnace unit is attached to). I’d also suggest looking into a new cleaning company, whatever their standards are, they’re mediocre at best. All in all though, it was fine enough for a weekend, I wouldn’t book it for anything longer than that, though, unless they can get the smell thing figured out.

Cute cottage

We all enjoyed our visit. Everything was clean and everything we needed and more. It has small bedrooms (2) but the out door space is grand.

Great service, cozy environment

We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the management staff. A hiccup with the wifi password and a question about the heater were resolved quickly and thoughtfully. The location - right on the lake - was great (esp because our dog loves to swim) but also for just looking at. Great location.

Not worth it

I don’t feel that the property was cleaned well. There was mold in the shower and the closet reeked of mold and must there was sand on the couches. For the price of the cleaning service I was charged, it should be way better. Also, the rental permit displayed expired two years ago. No instructions to turn on air and the fans are coated in dust.

Disappointed

The place was conveniently located. The major problem was upon entering the place it wreaked of mildew/mold. Apparently the owner knows of this issue as there were dehumidifying items all around, they are not working. We really could not enjoy our stay due to the stench. I realize it was less expensive than others but it is a health hazard & should not be allowed as a rental until repaired.

Great House and Location

Our stay was great and the house was wonderful. However, the lack of information in regards to there being no A/C at this house was unfortunate; such information should be up front. But the weather was perfect so it fortunately was not needed for the stay. Wifi was difficult so we did not hook to it as there was 10 different things with different information. All in all we enjoyed the stay and would go back, but better instructions would definitely help.
