Another wonderful stay it’s like a cosy little home away from and the Dogs adore it , in fact we are returning the end of next week to try one of the other the Cottages looking forward to it.
Nice place to sit on the front vehrandah and watch the world go by with a good book and a cool drink. Lots of space to walk and explore great space for our dog to enjoy a holiday with us
Beautiful bushland property. The wattles were out and many parrots flying around. Can sit and enjoy this around your own fire pit. So peaceful. The cottage was very cosy and comfy. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.
Liked the cottage, was more to my likings then my oartners. She doesmt go for that cabin feel of things, but still overall we had a great 2 nights away. Just good to unwind and relax from the stresees of work.
A few days of rest and relaxation with our dog, surrounded by trees and birds. Really good break from day to day stress.
Clean, comfortable accommodation. All interactions with hosts were pleasant and satisfactory.
A delightful and rustic cottage from which to explore Clare and the riesling trail. We loved sitting on the verandah after a hard days pedalling to watch the birds in the gum trees on the property. Thanks for another great visit.
A rustic little cottage for two (and a dog) among the gum trees .Very comfortable and welcoming within a peaceful rural environment, including kangaroos and bird life.. We enjoyed the wood burner, visiting the alpacas and rambling through the bushland property.

The property was just as advertised. The location was great. One minor hiccup when another couple turned up for the same cottage on the same days. Double booking is never good.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay, Michael. Thank you for the kind words!
Double booking is never good but the other couple was booked into Peppertree Cottage on the same property.
We look forward to seeing you again sometime! :)
Cheers, Beverley
I wish I had booked a longer stay. I will next time. Cosy cottage with all the basic essentials. It was very warm and cosy, either with the air-con, or wood fire. Heaps of food provided for breakfast. Tomatoes, eggs, bacon, loaf of bread, butter, jams, lots of different cereals. Very comfy and warm bed. Great property with so much native vegetation planted and regenerating. Huge eucalyptus forests and gullies with extensive birdlife. Nice to see the kangaroos too. Very freindly family, thanks for sharing your special property.

Great seclusion and privacy, but...
Wonderful location, with privacy and peace. However, there were some negatives that will make me not choose to stay there again:
- the owner sent correspondence emails to an incorrect address, meaning I arrived blind.
- booking for 3 nights I expected there to be enough firewood for the entirety of my stay. However, only 2 nights worth of wood was provided, and any additional firewood needed to be purchased separately.
- cleanliness: passable, but quite a few cobwebs
- kitchen reasonably well stocked, but missing lids for most saucepans
- the "welcome" information was not particularly welcoming. Rather, it was quite prejudicial that guests were out to steal or break items from the accommodation. The tone was that guests were a bit of an imposition!
Having said that, I enjoyed my time, but would have preferred not to have had those surprises.
To rent property was such an easy process . The description of each cottage covered every aspect one would need . Decided on Cathy's cottage which was beautifully presented the small touches made stay an excellent experience Thoroughly enjoyed the two nights as did our dogs Lola and Gertie , so much space to run around and explore . Thankyou from David , Brian , Lola and Gertie

A beautiful sanctuary
A great place to walk amongst the gum trees. Didn't realise we were sharing property with two other groups who also had dogs. This meant an altercation occurred as other dogs off lead with no supervision and stressing out our puppy who was recovering from surgery. Suggest being more explicit in advertisement re: pet friendly but not self contained for larger dogs. Thanks
I will be back it is such a great place to stay , and with a dog it has wonderful places to walk.

Quaint but run down
Whilst we had pleasant stay and you can see that the owners had tried hard, the property is very tired and run down. I think for the price we paid, white bread and instant coffee is a bit much! You could make a few cheap improvements and make it much more special. The quilt cover was old and looking a bit threadbare, the windows were broken and dusty. However we did enjoy the peace and quiet and the rural spot.
