Relaxing

Nice place to stay. Comfy and clean. The only complaint is one of the two elevators where down most of the stay. Having one elevator was tough. I would definitely stay here again!

Best Thanksgiving Ever

We enjoyed your beautiful condo so much. We went with 2 other couple and our 9 year old son. There was plenty of room to be together and plenty of room for privacy as well. We look forward to our next visit.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. My dad had surgery about 3 weeks prior to our vacation. For long distance walks he has to use a wheelchair but moving from room to room he uses a Walker. The condo was easy for him to get around in. We love the open plan for the kitchen, living and dinning areas. It made family time so special.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this beachfront condo is perfect for both families and seniors. The public access right next to the building is accessible for anything with wheels and those with limited mobility. The balcony is large enough for everyone to enjoy a place for eating and/or viewing the ocean. The only downside is that the decor is dated and the living room furniture needs to be replaced.

Loved our stay

The unit was very nice and clean. Loved being able to sit on the patio and see the ocean . The only thing I can say is that if you cook, the pots and pans are very nice.. there are no Baking dishes or Tupperware containers. That is the only negative thing I can share. We had an awesome time and will go back and stay there again. Barbara Mann

North Myrtle

Proximity to the beach was great. Beach was clean and not crowded. We enjoyed perfect long days relaxing at the beach and pool. The condo was just a little too dirty. Kitchen cabinets were covered in grease and grime. Two of the bathrooms were outdated and a little gross. The barstools at the island were filthy and nobody wanted to sit on them. Kitchen was fully stocked.

The closer bad beach toys, chairs and umbrella. The railing was loose when we arrived and was promptly fixed. The only thing I would change is that it was hard to keep up with the key for the doors downstairs. We liked having a code for our unit door.

NMB Condo Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: CHeck in was quick and easy, good location, clean, loved the beach toys and chairs etc for ease of use but missing light bulbs in numerous rooms, shower knobs were loose making it hard to get water at correct temp (my husband had to tighten them in every shower) need a piece of yellow tape for the threshold at the balcony (large tripping hazard), loved the maintenance staff they were friendly and always working so hard!!! The pool was always clean and lobby was nice and cool and clean. The place could use some updates and fixing of doors instead of patching things together, a lot of the “patchwork” is shotty and coming off/apart. For being a Marriott. Vacation hike I just expected a little bit higher quality.

Nice but average

We enjoyed our stay but will probably look for other properties in the future. Overall, the room was clean and everything was satisfactory. The vacuum was broken and there was some broken trim around the doors…just normal wear and tear. The bathrooms in the bedrooms don’t have a lot of privacy because the doors don’t lock; one is a sliding barn-door type so that was a different experience. :) The balcony has outdoor carpet which makes it look dated. The decor and updates done inside the unit were pretty. The beach itself was nicer if you walked out and slightly to the right of the building. Otherwise there is a definite crowd on the beach. Overall it was a great vacation and the location was close in proximity to lots of fun things to do in NMB.

Great location but not so great condo

Unfortunately, the online photos paint a picture that is not reality. Upon arrival, I had to insist our children not walk around barefoot so I could sweep because of the gross floors. MULTIPLE hair balls found at the feet of dining room chairs, hair on the obvious parts of the bathroom floors, and in the master bath sink. The patio didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned…Sand and old food crumbs. Then, while the kiddos were getting situated in the bunk room, I hear “ew mom! There’s sand all over our beds!” Yep! They all had to take their comforters off their beds and shake them off outside. So the first part of vacay was spent cleaning. Before we even unpacked, I tried to call the after hours number multiple times with no answer. I sent an email and included pictures of the hair I had found and a couple of other maintenance issues (bulb burnt out above the sink and a lamp couldn’t be turned on because it was missing its switch that spins). The response was quick, and they set up a time for the next morning for someone to come take care of the cleaning issues. I was told maintenance would be reaching out, but they never did during the week we were there. The next day, 2 people showed up and kindly offered to go over the needed areas. One of them apologized for the lack of cleaning and said they had to do very quick cleanings to turn over all of the rooms since they had been so busy. So now I was wondering what all had been skipped over just because they were trying to be quick about it. Not cleaning sufficiently never has a good enough reason!!! Especially with all the extra “cleaning measures” during Covid! Anyway, beyond lack of cleanliness, the condo was outdated, despite the advertisement of upgrades. The pain was fresh, but there’s lots of other issues where the thresholds and door jams are pulling away. There’s patchwork on the master floor bathroom… there’s 3 different types of flooring in the master because of this. Mildew in the master shower. The new small tv that’s advertised in the master doesn’t have good sound. The speakers sound like they are blown out when you try to increase the volume. Lastly, the “fully stocked” kitchen was missing lots of things needed for a week long stay. Pieces of sets of things missing. Sand in the cabinets and in the pots. I would run loads of dishes before use. For 3k, you just expect a different experience. The location was great, but I will not be renting this condo again.

We had to call maintenance to the unit for a problem with the door lock and they were on site within 10 min!! The unit itself was nice. The only thing I would suggest is adding ceiling fans. The master bedroom is very spacious with only one air vent and could the help circulating air. Overall, great stay! Would definitely rent with this company again!

A stay at Crescent Sands

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was not. The refrigerator had drips of food from the previous renters. The cabinets had drips and stains on them. There were items left in the cabinets and closets from other renters (used bars of soap and dirty sponges). I spent a good part of our first morning cleaning. The property sleeps 8 but there were only 6 towels. The top bunk beds were left unmade, with the clean sheets folded on the bed and after a long drive the last thing we had energy to do was make the two top bunks. The air vents and ducts are filthy and are in desperate need of a professional cleaning. I left a message with the rental company but never received a call back. The location was great. And the view was wonderful. The best part of the stay is the beach.

Great Layout

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The layout of the kitchen allowed for multiple people to be in it at the same time. All beds were comfortable and all areas were clean.

Loved the area and the condo was just as advertised. The proximity to the beach was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. In my opinion, the furry stools at the bard should be replaced. They are not sanitary at all.I’m sure a many of bathing suit clad rear ends have been seated on those stools and there is NO way to clean or sanitize them. I would definitely stay there again, but hope the stools are gone before my next visit!

Pros and Cons

Pros: Loved the solid surface flooring throughout the property. It felt clean and was easy to sweep! The furniture was also very nice. There is pool toys and beach chairs in the bunk bed room. The main door into the unit was smart so no keys were needed even though it took us 30 minutes to enter because the code was not working. There were plenty of linens. The unit was clean and comfortable. The ironing board was missing but the management company delivered a replacement. Cons: The TVs are VERY old! The Master bedroom tv is not up to par and has no HDMI input so don't waste time bringing Roku, Firestick, or Chromecast, etc. The 35" smart TVs are available at a minimum cost and would make that area much more enjoyable. Also, the master bedroom needs a chair for lounging but since the TV was garbage we didn't lounge in there. There is little privacy between master bedroom & toilet room. The fuzzy bar stools in kitchen are gross and need to be replaced with something that can be cleaned. I was afraid to touch them but the kids didn't notice. The curtain bar over the master bedroom sliding door was constantly coming apart. The barn sliding door for the first bedroom bathroom is falling apart and needs to be either replaced or fixed. My teen girls struggled with it all week because it was coming off the tracks. The kitchen was sparse but usable. the kitchen needs a few more pot holders for hot pans. If these items were fixed I would definitely stay there again. Overall we had a wonderful week with family.

Beautiful Beach Stay

The condo and location were perfect for our family. We would definitely recommend and consider returning! Everyone we met were friendly and helpful!

Beautiful Condo

This was the perfect location for an ocean front vacation. The remodeled condo was very beautiful, spacious, and well stocked for all our needs. From relaxing on the large balcony, short access to the beach, and great communication with the management, we would definitely stay here again.

Very Enjoyable Apartment

Great place to stay. Easy to get in and out. Very clean and comfortable. Love the bedroom with the bunk beds! They worked perfect for our stay and very comfortable. All the beds mattresses were like brand new. The ocean view bedroom needs a new updated TV but all the rest were perfect. Location is everything for us and this was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this apartment for your beach stay!

Thanks so much for your great review! This property has been totally renovated and has all new beds and furniture. We will check on the TV but all of them were replaced as well. The location is perfect and it is right on the ocean. Thanks again and we look forward to helping you in the future.
