Great location, good access

Great trip for a weekend getaway, would also be good for people with limited mobility to get in and out, as there are no steps into the home and 2 bedrooms on the main level. There were 3 bedrooms total, each with their own bathroom, which was larger than the description. Lake acces through the dock is good, nice inlet for paddle boarding and kayaking as well.

We had lake view with a private boat dock and between fishing and cruising the lake it was fun relaxing and great family time. Money very well spent!

Not for someone who enjoys outings. 20 minute ride to the heart of Deep Creek activities. The house & property were nicer in person than the pictures. Was disappointed that the grass was long and never cut during our stay. Serious mouse problem that took a lot of our time every day disinfecting and protecting things in the kitchen from droppings. Most noticeable in the kitchen but dropping through out house. I would not stay there again or recommend the property because of this.

Great location in a little cove (perfect for swimming and keeping your water toys from getting thrown around!), fully stocked kitchen for all cooking needs, linens & towels provided was a PLUS and the house itself was cozy and certainly big enough for our family with some room to spare in the loft! The area is great & neighbors (both homeowners) were very friendly! Yard is beautiful with a nice fire pit to sit out and relax! My only concern was the dock and I found the wooden part to be super warped and we were a little uncomfortable walking on it as the wood was bending and shifting. Otherwise, no complaints and we will certainly be back next year! OH! And such a wonderful price!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best thing about the home is the location and the lot if you're looking to be on a private part of the lake. The location is set back in a nice cove where boat traffic is minimal and most boats observe as a no wake zone. This makes it nice for hanging out on the oversize dock and swimming. The house itself was also nice and well equipped. The only negative comment I can make on the house is that the cleaning could have been a little bit better. Overall a very nice place I would recommend and would definitely visit again.

I was disappointed by the rental property in that there was a water problem in the main room/ hallway - there was a large water spot that kept getting worse throughout the week and if the dehumidifier wasn't on it smelled really bad. The dehumidifier was loud and made the house very hot (and there was no AC so that was rough) . Also on the last night a lot of rain came in under the kitchen door and there was a mini flood . The house was great for the private dock and the neighborhood was awesome I just would not rent that property again. I would strongly suggest remediating the water issues so other guests don't have the same disappointment.

I am not sure if we were the first to stay at location in a while but the house was very dusty and smelled a little stale. Quite a few spiders in the corners of bathrooms. Exterior of the house was covered in spider webs. Needs to be pressure washed and an exterminated. Rental company was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend.

There was so much to enjoy: fishing, swimming, walking in the woods, evenings at the firepit... The dog absolutely loved running back and forth into the water and on the dock.

The house was great with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and a 3rd bed/bath upstairs. Because we enjoy fishing, the size of the dock was great. My only concern was walking onto the dock was a little difficult if boats were going by creating wake. We caught lots of bluegills and perch, and a random Muskie and bass. The yard had a gentle slope that was easy to get up and down. The dogs loved running around, barking at the chipmunks and squirrels. It took about 15-20 minutes to get into town, but it was a relaxing drive and we saw lots of deer.

Perfect for a Relaxing Getaway

Having a second master br was great - my brother & wife stayed upstairs and had privacy while my family of 4 used the downstairs. Right on the lake was wonderful. Home has a small fire pit outside. The kitchen was great - lots of appliances, dishes, plastic ware, etc. Made it easy to dine in. Two notes: Wish there was a hot tub and wish the firepit was larger (and not sitting on top of dried grass surrounded by boxwoods). The main living area was small but worked for 6 people. Anymore and it would have been too crowded. Location was great for us as we wanted to be in a quiet area. House is about 20 mins from 219/Wisp area.
