We had a fabulous stay!! It was clean and well-equipped. Check in and check out very easy and communication with Jody was just as easy. Very comfortable stay and close to everything.

Wonderful stay! Jody was so thoughtful about stocking the kitchen, night lights everywhere we needed them, extra towels & pillows…she made this a really nice experience! The neighborhood was walkable to town, very nice neighbors; really just a lovely home! Very clean, comfy beds, great communication. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Perfect location for touring FLX

Kitchen is well stocked - we enjoyed breakfast and after dinner relaxing on the deck. Ample supply of kitchen linens, bath towels, bed linens, and the beds were quite comfy!The "game room" was a nice surprise, too ;-)

The home was in a perfect area, situated close to downtown Hammondsport. The spacious home was extremely comfortable with multiple AC units in each room and private bathrooms as well. If you plan on staying in Hammondsport or near wine country, this house is a must!

Cozy place in a quiet neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay. Place is very clean and in a quiet area. You can take a short walk to town’s restaurants and coffee shops, and also walk to the beach.

Cozy little apartment

I have to admit for our first time staying in a VRBO listing I was amazed at how clean and spacious it was. The price for the weekend (Fri and Sat) was phenomenal. We were attending a family reunion we attend each year. If this listing is available again next year; we'll try to book it again, only we intend to stay a little longer. The owner was responsive to my questions with prompt replies. As I said before we were delighted with the accommodations. It's close to the town center within easy walking distance. A lovely place.

Wife’s D-bay get away

Seems like a nice neighborhood we had a short stay and didn’t do much at the house. A grill would be nice. Over all it worked out well and we enjoyed our stay. Even with a roof leak.

Very enjoyable stay

Check in was breeze. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Location is a stones throw from main attractions in Hammondsport where you can enjoy Burgers and Beer along with the Timber Stone Grill and small shops. Location is probably max 25 minutes away from the farthest winery on Keuka. Location was clean. Well maintained. All you could ask for. Only complaint I had was that I didn’t know it was a two level house and someone was above me. I may have missed that portion in the description but other than that this stay is a highly recommended.

Fall getaway

Quiet area, close to lots of waterfalls and water, perfect house for 2 couples. Clean, comfortable and convenient. We would stay here again. Thanks for the great time.

Wineglass Weekend

Perfect place to stay during Wineglass Marathon Weekend. On a quiet neighborhood street and short walking distance to the village and many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, clean and easy!

What an easy property to stay in! No stairs aside from the few walking to the door. Everything you would need. Awesome two bedrooms with their own private washrooms. Close to the main drag that have a number of eateries et al. We used a driver service we found the flyer in the wine and spirit store. Awesome stay!!! Thank you!

Very nice place.

Kind of a long walk to the lake, but very nice clean place with everything you need. Parking off street, two bedrooms, two lovely baths, well equipped kitchen if you're in for a long stay. Parking off street. Very clean. We were planning on footing it for the weekend and it was dicey at times with the weather, but overall a great place. No complaints other than the dishwasher not working. Did I say CLEAN? So clean. Roomy as well. Great couch too. Pictures on VRBO don't do it justice.

Practical and comfortable vacation rental

This is a comfortable and practical vacation rental . We appreciated that there were two bathrooms and that the kitchen had all sorts of pots and pans, dishes and cutlery to make a proper dinner. It was also very helpful that there was a washer and dryer since we stayed for over a week. The house is within easy walking distance to the village square and the Hammondsport location allows for interesting day-trips in the area (Watkins Glen, Corning, etc.) My only negative comment concerns the fact that the dishwasher was out of order during our stay. Since we didn't eat all meals in the rental, this was manageable but it would have been more convenient to have the dishwasher. It would have also been nice to have had access to a grill (just a suggestion for future investments).

Excellent

This is an excellent place to stay in Hammondsport. You can walk into town and to the head of the lake. The unit is so clean and neat and updated inside, with a nice kitchen area. It is great having 2 bathrooms, since 4 of us stayed there. We all enjoyed it!

A great base for exploring the finger lakes.

We had a terrific stay. The home was clean, with plenty of room for 2 couples. Our host had several terrific suggestions of places to see or do. (You have to check out the ice cream at the Spotted Duck, and then hiking at Watkins Glen State park). Hammondsport is a delightful small town with several good eateries and a small grocery store.

Comfortable, Clean, and Perfect Location

Comfortable apartment in good location for exploring the area. Would have liked a barbecue grill but kitchen well stocked. Beds were comfortable and AC was great for the hot humid days while we were there. Would not hesitate to return.
