What a find!!!!! Point Pleasant Resort was even better than we anticipated. It is all tucked-up into nature and SOOO peaceful! The unit was decorated really cute, beds were comfy and we had all we needed. Shout out to the front desk staff. They were super friendly and always ready to help. The VIEW from B22 was why we booked it! We loved the chickens and cats too. Sugar beach was a treat. Most times we were the only ones there. Don’t hesitate to book this villa!!! The owners left a cute and helpful book about the area as well. We will DEFINITELY return.

Family Vacation

Wow! What a great stay my mom, brother and I had at the Palm Tree Lookout. The view is breathtaking, and the resort was great. Both restaurants located on the resort property were very tasty. The unit is perfectly located on the resort, so you won’t be too out of breath no matter where you decide to walk and if walking isn't your preferred method the resort offers a shuttle to scoot you around the site. Everyone we encountered onsite was very friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful Views

The condo was clean and comfortable. We constantly swapped out beach towels for clean ones at the office. Good thing we did not bring any, because it was nice to have clean ones for each beach visit. We enjoyed driving to the various beaches nearby and a few across the island to snorkel.

We absolutely loved the location, the way the home was stocked and how well the place was furnished. It was shocking to wake in the middle of the night to find cockroaches in the tub on three separate occasions. We would stay again if this was taken cqar of vut where there is one........

Great escape

This villa was the perfect vacation spot! Every view was spectacular!! the owners were the best tour guides and host/hostess we could ask for! The villa was stocked with all the necessary amenities and was clean & in perfect condition! Unfortunately, while we were there the pool and restaurant were closed for renovations. This was not a problem since we had rented a car & were able to get to see the other beautiful beaches & restaurants on the island. Thank you so much for renting to us, we would definitely go again!

Thanks for the great review! The restaurants and pools were closed for renovation during the slow season. Panga (our waterfront casual restaurant) is now open and Blue Agave (our fine dining restaurant with breathtaking down island view) as well as Point Wellness (our on property Spa) are scheduled to open Dec. 2013. Pools are all in great condition after minor touch ups!

Great view of the ocean and sunrise. The adjacent Pineapple Beach was associated with the adjacent Margaritaville resort and was a little hard to get to. It had a thin trail along the rocky shoreline to get there. The local Sugar Beach on the resort was real tiny, like for 4 to 6 people. It was a great location for quick driving access to the Lindquest and Sapphire Beaches. The Magen's Beach was only a 20 minute drive away. A visit to St John is highly recommended.

Beautiful view, everything we needed

We stayed here 4 nights and were amazed with the beautiful view from all sides of the balcony. The condo is clean and well equipped with everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable. The location is convenient to several beaches and the RedHook ferry terminal. Would definitely recommend. The owner was very responsive and provided quite a bit of tourist info ahead of our trip to help plan our activities. The island certainly was damaged from two very powerful back to back hurricanes, but they have done a great job cleaning debris and getting the beaches beautiful again. Most stores are reopened so there is no shortage of things to do and this condo is a great base for doing activities or just simply lounging on the reclining chairs and enjoying the view.

Great Getaway

My husband, son and I had a wonderful week at Palm Look Out, B22 at Point Pleasant. We absolutely LOVED the view from the balconies! The unit is located within easy walking distance to two of the swimming pools which was great for us. We enjoyed a few meals at Sun and Sea Bar & Grill (which is on the resort property) but having a well equipped kitchen enabled us to cook a few meals on other days. The AC worked well in the bedroom and the extra fan in the living room was definitely needed since there was an ongoing heatwave during our stay. Thank you for sharing your unit with us. We would definitely return. P.S. There were no responses to any of my messages via VRBO. I mentioned this at check-in and the front desk rep advised that those messages do not go to the host but to Point Pleasant staff. He apologized. As the host/unit owner, I think you should inquire on this. Thank you!

Awesome balcony and place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit in July 2021. We arrived to find that our rental car was not available so had to take a taxi to Point Pleasant. We were tired and frustrated (about the car) but happy to arrive and enjoy the beautiful view. Had dinner at the beach restaurant on site that evening which was enjoyable until the bugs started biting. When we arrived for check in the office doors were locked and it appeared we had missed them for the day (about 6 PM), I started to panic, called the number on the door (no answer) but then a woman came around the corner and let us in and processed our check it. The unit was comfortable and roomy for our family of 4 (parents and two teen boys), it was great to have a full kitchen and we made use of it several times. I spent the evenings on the very roomy balcony enjoying the view and watching the boats - my husband wanted to but he was getting attacked by bugs so had to go in earlier than I did. There are a few pools, we only ended up playing in the one near their restaurant (Prime) late in the evening. We had the place mostly to ourselves, but FYI there's no lights at the pool at night, but nice to enjoy the stars. The road into this resort is steep! And there's no where to walk off resort, really. St Thomas is not really suited to going out for a walk, but you can wander the resort which I did while the teens slept in. There's a nice nature walk near the Prime restaurant that has a beautiful view from a deck to sit and watch the water. And there's a trail from the bottom of the resort over to Margaritaville and you can continue on over to Coki if you like. Otherwise, you need a car for everything. We had a nice time here and miss enjoying the view from the balcony.

Great location

We loved our stay at Point Pleasant. The views are incredible and it's an easy walk to Coki Beach and Margaritaville. The staff was very helpful and we had no issues getting additional towels even though they were not offering housekeeping due to COVID. Shoreline Bar and Grill was great but we would not recommend the Mirador for dining. Our meals were very overcooked. Overall unit B22 is ok. There are some housekeeping issues: mold in shower, around faucet and tiles, and the tub is very stained. It looks as though an attempt was made to clean it but it is very stained. We found a VERY large live cockroach in the tub one afternoon. We specifically searched for a king sized bed and were happy to have it in B22. However, it is very firm to the point of being hard. The pillows appear full and fluffy but are in fact very flat when you use them. The kitchen seemed to have everything needed to cook should you desire to. There is a container on the patio with beach chairs, definitely a bonus. You can also rent loungers and an umbrella at Coki Beach. We loved the location and the 3 pools were very nice. I do agree with a previous review, the pictures don't do the view justice.

This resort had everything we needed amenities wise. We enjoyed the shoreline grill and the different food nights. Every city was within a 15-20 min distance for food, souvenirs and night life!

Phenomenal view! Lovely Condo!!

This place was phenomenal. Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary vacation and they made sure we felt special. The place had a spectacular view. Bedroom was very comfortable and you can literally wake up watching the sunrise from St John from your bed. The resort has a lot of amenities, multiple pools, romantic restaurants, etc. Their sugar beach was very relaxing and we were walking distance from Coki beach and Coral world. And were less than 10min drive to Red hook. I would definitely come back and stay at this location again #B22 apartment ❤️. My only advise is that the owner should take better pictures of the condo to post on Vrbo because the place we stayed at was much much much better than the pictures posted on vrbo. Great view & the perfect size for family of 3!

We used to live on island so we had a idea of what to expect before booking. Close proximity to 3 of our favorite beaches and within a few minutes of Redhook. Point Pleasant grounds are nice and luscious with great views!!! We didn’t get to use the pools as planned because it is January so the water is a bit cold but that’s okay and no one’s fault just keep it in mind if booking for the pools. Speaking of cold water, there was no hot water in the shower for some reason but the sink got boiling hot. Having AC in the bedroom was nice at night however the timer kept driving me crazy. The timer only allows it to run for 6 hours so every night I would have to wake up to reset the timer for it to cut back on. The bed was nice and comfortable! Kitchen was decently stocked but it could definitely use a few better pans and basic essentials such as trash bags and cleaning supplies. Due to covid they are not doing laundry or cleaning during stays which is understandable, but they could at least leave the basics so guest can clean themselves. After staying for a week the kitchen needing some tending too. Towels can be exchanged at the front desk for new ones. Overall cleanliness wasn’t the best but also not the worst. It didn’t bother us much but I could see where it might someone else so I thought I would mention it. Provided beach toys was a plus for our daughter & the cooler definitely came in handy. It might sound like I’m complaining but more so being honest. Overall, it was a nice condo and I would stay again if it were a lower rate. ...ps.. something was up with the bedroom window. There was styrofoam duck taped instead of a window. Not sure how secure that is and I would hope they are fixing it soon as I read in a past review that it’s been like that for a while.

Sunrise view

Nice apartment with large wrap around balcony where you can enjoy the sunrise. There were plenty of appliances and dishes, but we did not find all were clean. Old food left in the freezer too. The bedroom has a missing window. It's taped in with a styrofoam panel, so you hear everything through it (including workers and all who were commenting on the fact that this window was missing while we were in the bedroom...). Otherwise our stay was nice. The staff quickly accommodated our requests for extra towels, soaps, etc. The balcony had a beautiful view and our surrounding area was filled with greenery and flowers. The rest itself had three pools to select from which was a nice added plus.

Peaceful getaway

Excellent views and we always felt safe. There are many amenities within walking distance including easy access to sugar beach, pineapple beach, coki beach and the aquarium. The nights were a little warm as the a/c wasn’t working properly.

Great Views, amenities and location to great beaches including a small private beach and restaurants

Within walking distance to Coki Beach which has some of the best snorkeling on the island. You can also walk to Joe's market to score groceries and perhaps other party favors. The Condo is clean, well-equipped and has wrap-around patio with lounge chairs with excellent views of BVI and St John. The island is still recovering from a previous storm but our trip was only minimally impacted by the construction/recovery efforts. DEfinitely will come here again as we did not get to explore all the nooks and crannies this island has to offer, let alone, St John and St Croix.

Beautiful views, great location

We loved Bellekarma! The views were incredible and the unit was comfortable with everything we needed. The private beach has been upgraded slightly with two large lounge beds. It is great for snorkeling or lounging. We loved the on-site restaurant (Shoreline Grill). It had some of the best food on the island, and has happy hour specials from 3-5 daily. The unit had air conditioning, but only a small unit located in the bedroom. It only runs for 6 hours at a time and was not enough to cool the entire unit. Opening the glass doors is more than sufficient to get a nice breeze in the mornings and afternoons, but unfortunately these doors open to the porch, which is accessible to anyone on the property. We did not feel comfortable sleeping with them open because of this so the air conditioner was necessary. We had an issue with small flying bugs that appeared to live in the bathroom. They were annoying, but didn't bite and were easily contained by keeping the bathroom doors closed. Point Pleasant is a great location! We have previously stayed at Morningstar, but prefer being closer to Red Hook. The Shoreline Grill and Latitude 18 are fantastic restaurants with great views. Oceana is excellent for a nice meal.

Unit has everytning you need

Definately need a car! enjoyed view from balcony. Food very expensive. Not many options for affordable meals.

Thanks for staying at my villa. Yes, food is expensive in St. Thomas as in all Islands in the Caribbean. Car is recommended, but you can take the $1 safari which goes to many beaches, restaurants and supermarkets.
