A unique retreat lies in store for you at the Outer Banks Beach Club II. Sit on the beach and watch the waves of the Atlantic roll onto the shore or venture out to play in the surf and sun.
The resort features an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, tennis and shuffleboard courts, barbeque grills, a children’s pool, playgrounds and a year-round recreation department. Tee off at the nearby golf course, cast a line to fish or simply enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach.

With stores and restaurants convenient to the property, as well as an area rich in history, there’s plenty to explore when you stay at the Outer Banks Beach Club II.

The two-bedroom suites is located on the oceanside but does not have ocean view. The building is set back and just a short walk to the beach. It feature a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a jacuzzi tub and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a separate full bathroom. The living area features a front deck, and also has a queen-sized sleeper sofa bed. The kitchen is fully furnished with a microwave, refrigerator and kitchen electrics such as a mixer, blender, toaster and more.

Great Location, Friendly & Responsive Mgt Company & Owner

I would recommend this location and property. It is on the beach side of the street (Not sure why the previous reviewer said it viewed CVS - this is incorrect). It does not have a beach view but only a 2 min walk to the beach through the resort property via a parking lot and onto a wooden walk way. Great location and very convenient to food and other Kill Devil Hills activities. Staff was very friendly and responsive as was the owner. It has east access to a pool and a playground for little kids. The resort beach is wide and it's gradient is very gradual which is great for kids, social distancing, people watching, making sand castles, spikeball and just playing in the waves.

Not Beach Front Property

The property that was rented by this owner is not beach front nor beach side. It is across a busy street with a view of the CVS pharmacy drive through. The picture of the beach with chairs and umbrellas, is misleading as they are not included with the rental. VBRO is “rental by owner” and while part of this property might be considered beach side - this owners property is not and it should specify that in the listing. The front office says guests are always being told beach front property, when in fact the units are not beach front. This should not be the norm, that “it happens all the time” with rentals by owner. VBRO charges a fee for admin costs, they should be making sure the property descriptions are accurate. Another frustration, the Owner did not notify the check in office that this property had been rented to us and we had to spend extra time trying to figure It out with the front desk. - it was an expensive lesson as we were so disappointed we took a loss and checked out early. We will not be using VBRO again.

It would be 5 star if it had comfortable mattress in both rooms.

Everything was great EXCEPT the mattress needs to be replaced as we all got up with a very bad back and the couch which is a sleeper sofa needs to get cleaned regularly. Other than that the location is perfect and had all the amenities we enjoyed. Thank you.
